Pfft. Fuck Alabama. Nick Saban eats dick. And fuck the college playoff voters too.

Of course Georgia lost. Because it didn't even fucking matter if they won. If they win, Alabama still plays for a title. On what fucking planet does that make any fucking sense? It made even more sense when Alabama wasn't even in the conference championship and still made it to the title game, and even that made NO FUCKING SENSE AT ALL. There's having a good team... and then there's playoff voters sucking your dick for some unexplained (or POORLY explained) reason. "We like the way they play, it's like NFL, bleh bleh bleh" WHO FUCKIN CARES. THIS AIN'T NFL, HOMO. You wanna vote on NFL shit, go join the fucking NFL. This is why TCU joined a major conference. They wanted a fucking hope in hell of ever being considered for a title if they go undefeated for 10 years in a row.

PS, and FUCK KIRBY SMART for that dumbass punt fake shit which I called before it even happened. Same kinda shit that threw the game against LSU midseason. I said, watch this shit, he's gonna go for it at midfield and screw the fuckin pooch. And sure enough, he absolutely did. Kirby SMART? Kirby Dumbass.

That's not really Tastyspleen jurisdiction. Wallfly is there, but the server is not operated by Quadz. You'll probably wanna talk to Maraakate about it. It says his last login here was mid October. Maybe if you private message him it'll forward a message to his email.

Peeked at his website and found other possible ways to contact him:

I don't know what "gamescanner" is, but you can always just add the ip to your games autoexec config and join the server by going to the games multiplayer menu.

Go to Quake2/baseq2 and open autoexec.cfg (or config.cfg if autoexec isn't there) with Notepad. Halfway down the list, you'll start seeing entries beginning with "set" rather than bind. In this area should be several lines for server IP addresses, like...

set adr8 ""
set adr7 ""
set adr6 ""
set adr5 ""
set adr4 ""
set adr3 ""
set adr2 ""
set adr1 ""
set adr0 ""

In between the quotes of any one of those, just paste the server IP. Like...

set adr8 ""
set adr7 ""
set adr6 ""
set adr5 ""
set adr4 ""
set adr3 ""
set adr2 ""
set adr1 ""
set adr0 "23.227.170.222:27916"

And I'm assuming thats the right IP, it's whatever you posted in your last post. But after that, close and save the file. There's a possibility the file might be set to read only. If so, right click>properties>uncheck the box for read only, then try it again. (I typically keep my config files on read-only unless I'm intentionally editing them outside the game) Then start up the game from the clients EXE, NOT from whatever Game Scanner thingy it is you've been using. Then go to multiplayer - join network server - and scroll down to where the server is listed in your address book.

That's how probably 99% of the rest of us connect to play. Easy peasy.

Not really "streaming"... this is about a DVD I got... but fuck it.

Apparently at some point I mentioned that I used to like Ren and Stimpy as a kid. So a friend of mine gave me a Ren and Stimpy DVD antholgy thing, pretty much every episode of Ren and Stimpy ever. And yeah, I remember me and my buddies in middle school used to sing the Happy Happy Joy Joy song and shout POWDERED TOOOOOOOAST MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN in the hallways between classes. When I was in middle school, the two best cartoons on TV was Ren and Stimpy and Beavis and Butthead... and maybe the Simpsons a little.

I had heard they briefly brought the Ren and Stimpy show back on Spike TV or Adult Swim or something, but I never saw any of those episodes. Well they aired 3 episodes of that season, but it was cancelled and the remaining 3 finished episodes were never aired. It was supposed to be a more adult-ish TV-MA rated kinda thing, kinda like South Park or something. Anyway, those episodes are all on one separate DVD called "Adult Party Cartoon". And... I see why they cancelled the show. IT FUCKING SUCKED. It's awful. It's not funny at all. It's just stupid. Poorly written, poorly drawn at times, poorly thought out and awkward. It's just... BAD.

So if you were ever a fan of Ren and Stimpy as a youngster like I was... don't bother buying the Ren and Stimpy "Adult Party Cartoon" DVD. It's a waste of time and money. I'd rather watch flies fuck or paint dry.

The teams locked in the playoffs 100% are Alabama and notre dame. Even if Alabama loses to Georgia they're in.

Figures. SSDD.

This is it. Final game of the regular season for everybody, state rivalry Saturday. Georgia is undoubtedly gonna beat Georgia Tech. Or at least... They better. I do NOT want to spend the ENTIRE CHRISTMAS SEASON hearing my old man talk shit about the Bulldogs. Although... he's gonna do it anyway after Alabama beats them, but if his Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets somehow manage to do it, I'll never hear the end of it. My brother-in-law is a Virginia grad, and GT managed to narrowly beat Virginia last week which totally screwed them out of the #1 spot in their division. Turns out... they ended up losing to Virginia Tech last night as well to end the season with a 4-4 conference record. Kinda weird. North Carolina has had one cunt of a bitch of a season, but they did managed to beat Pitt... who has clinched the ACC Coastal already. How the fuck does that happen? The ones they SHOULD lose... they don't. WTF!?!

Been watching Orange is the New Black on Netflix.

It has slightly funny moments, and some memorable and interesting enough characters, but mostly it's just bland filler and a healthy dose of UNreality when it comes to prison, which mostly just pisses me off. Seriously, how is this bullshit the top Netflix show?

Apparently, some 20 or so years ago, a bunch of people who wore nothing but catholic priest suits and sported blunderbusses got together with some pakistanis or indians or something and they all ate some Butterball deli turkey and Stove Top stuffing mix...

Oversimplification... obviously.

Ready for some knowledge?

Since white folks started showing up on the east coast, they sometimes celebrated what has now come to be known as Thanksgiving. It was never an official holiday with an official date, and not everyone observed it every year. It wasn't until 1863 in the middle of the Civil War when Union President Abraham Lincoln declared the last Thursday in November to be "Thanksgiving", a celebration of the Union victories in the war.

So OBVIOUSLY, we in the south didn't give a shit to celebrate Lincoln's success, nor did we really receive a weekly newsletter from the yankees telling us all the latest gossip in the north. But after the war, like many things, it was effectively shoved down the throats of southerners and now... WHOOP-TEE-DOO, WE GETS A HOLIDAY CELEBRATING THE ARMY IN THE WAR THAT KILLED OUR SONS. And while I'll typically shit all over Lincoln for being the stubborn asshole that refused to allow the south to have it's independence, at least he had the decency to veto the Wade-Davis bill before he got capped and shuffled off this mortal coil.

Fast forward about 80 years,...

It wasn't until a few weeks after the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor that President Roosevelt changed the date to the FOURTH Thursday in November (not the LAST Thursday anymore).

Anyway...

HAPPY TURKEY DAY!

And as always, fuck Lincoln.

(For more on why Abraham Lincoln was such a piece of shit, be sure to pick up a copy of "Lincoln Unmasked: What You're Not Supposed to Know About Dishonest Abe" by Thomas DiLorenzo.)

Dunno if you've ever seen It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, but that show is pretty funny and completely nuts. The current season is kinda... meh. And the first season of the show didn't have Danny Devito, and it was okay. But all the seasons after the addition of Danny Devito are pretty insane. It's not necessarily one of those shows you HAVE to watch in order from the very beginning... but it helps because they often have running jokes and recurring themes.

Fawlty Towers is another show I watched on Netflix lately. Starring John Cleese from the old Monty Pythons Flying Circus show. About a guy who runs a hotel somewhere in rural Britain. Funny as hell, and sadly they only ever made a total of 12 episodes. Really funny show though.

Recently jumped on the bandwagon and signed up for one month of Netflix, but really it's 2 months, because you get the first month free. I got the 2 screens with HD package for 10.99.

Not sure if I'm gonna keep it. There's lots of things on there, but kinda like my Dish 500 package I have currently, it's lots of... uh... shit nobody wants to watch. If I get really bored, I'll start flip flip flipping and come to the "rural" channel where they play shit like Waltons re-runs and fucking cattle auctions. How god damn bored do you have to be to watch pre-recorded cattle auctions on the rural channel. Well... as bored as ME sometimes, apparently. :D So clearly I need something like Netflix in my life.

Some interesting things I've streamed on there lately...

The 10 part Ken Burns docuseries The West. It's pretty much a 16-or-so hour lesson in how completely and totally fucked the Native Americans were as more and more of the continent became the United States of America. Also kinda weird to look around at what America IS at this very moment and realize that ALL OF THIS was puked out onto the landscape in a very short span of 150+ years. Kinda depressing. But educational too. It explains lots of the main things one might see about Native Americans in American History textbooks, but it also leaves out a lot.

Another 10 part Ken Burns docuseries, The Civil War. An excellent series for anyone these days who "thinks" they have an educated opinion about the Civil War. Especially today, one of the most forgotten and misunderstood wars in our history, and yet still the most important one. These days people prefer to overgeneralize and equate the Confederacy with Nazism. Not even close. Not going to get into my deeper opinions on the matter because it would take too long. But in essence, too few of todays younger folks understand the motives of the common man who fought in the war.

Altered Carbon season 1 (10 episodes). Kinda good. Kinda weird at times. Very Bladerunner-ish. Not really as imaginative as it could've been.

Also... I was pretty excited to see this one on there...

Chill with Bob Ross. :yessign:

It's a collection of 20 or 30 something episodes from his 80's and 90's PBS tv show The Joy of Painting. I know a lot youngsters these days think Bob Ross is some kinda joke. But I was always into drawing and art kinda shit as a youngster back in the late 80s and early 90s, and I actually used to enjoy watching his painting shows,... and still do. It's just cool to see how he could take a palette with about 8 or 9 colors on it and make a vivid painting of a landscape in about 25 minutes.

:WTF: Ben Shapiro is not racist... not even a little. He's certainly not facist... not even a little. He's a fast talking and quite dorky Reagan-revering conservative. I've listened to his radio show a few times, not really because I like him, but simply because it comes on for about an hour between two other shows I sometimes listen to. So I say none of this as a "fan" of his at all. I'm as neutral and unbiased towards him personally as one can be. I don't necessarily agree with "Republican" politics in general, but Ben Shapiro as a person is NINE THOUSAND TIMES more intelligent and articulate than any 100 of these dumbass kids put together.
