Doesn't matter how shitty South Carolina is doing in any particular year, if Georgia is ranked inside the top 10, they play that one game like it's the last game they'll ever play just to shit on Georgias hopes for an undefeated season, and then they immediately go back to sucking donkey balls the next week, which makes it even worse.

Although I can't blame South Carolina as much for it this year. They really didn't play all that terrific, it's just that Georgia played the whole game extra shitty. Their defense played pretty good for the whole game, but their offense played like SHIT. Lazy routes, STOPPING at the end of the route and standing there like idiots rather than continuing to move and possibly coming open, bad run blocking, and most importantly, some of the worst passing Fromm has done all season... fuck that, all CAREER.

As for Ohio State... it's fucking ridiculous that Justin Fields is in the Heisman running at all. If he really was worth a shit, he'd be the starting QB at Georgia right now, ....and unless you live in a self-imposed safe-space bubble of Ohio State's greatness, that fact is apparent.

Ah. Yeah I remember that back when Aaron Murray was still QB'ing at Georgia and at the time I kinda thought, "Good, we might lose to them anyway." (which is probably why THEY didn't wanna play Georgia, they thought THEY'D lose to US) But these days, pfft, I'd take Ohio State against Georgia, sure.

Tickets were gonna be about 200 each for shitty seats, so I convinced my old man to stay home and watch it on TV instead. Glad I did. Because....

TOP OF THE 1ST INNING... 10 to NOTHING, CARDINALS.

 :raincloud: ::)

God hates Atlanta sports teams. *except our fuckin' soccer team I guess... only because nobody fuckin' watches that shit anyway.

True. Unless I'm mistaken, seems like Army vs Navy always happens the week AFTER conference championships, and it's just about the ONLY game on TV that day.

Notre Dame and Georgia Tech used to be somewhat of a rivalry since back in the 50's (maybe even the 30's when Rockne was alive) when they both often contended for the National Title.

An older movie I DVR'd the other day. Seen parts of it here and there before, but tonight was the first time I ever sat and watched it start to finish.

What Lies Beneath - starring Michelle Pfeiffer and Harrison Ford, came out in 2000. I'd give it about a 8 or 9 out of 10. Really good. Wiki calls it a "supernatural horror" film, and I guess that's somewhat accurate, although I'm more inclined to put it in the "thriller/suspense/horror" category, since it does utilize a hefty amount of suspense. Great Halloween season kinda movie. The story kinda reminds me a lot of the old Tales From The Crypt HBO miniseries from the early 90's.

Both series of the NLDS has been pretty good. Both the Dodgers vs Nationals and Braves vs Cardinals series have been pushed all the way to game 5. The Braves could've sealed it last night but for some fucking reason, they decided to change pitchers when the guy they had in there was doing EXCELLENT. :frustration:

As for the ALDS, the Yankees pretty much had their way with the Twins, and Houston only needs to win one more to get past Tampa. Doesn't matter though, neither one of them stand a chance against New York. And IF the Braves win again, I'm hoping the Nats beat the Dodgers, because the Braves will be able to handle the Nats easily. But if the Braves lose, the Dodgers had BETTER win, because besides the Braves, they're the only other NL team that will have a remote hope in hell of hanging with the Yankees.

Gonna try to get tickets to game 5 of Braves vs Cardinals tomorrow night when they're back in Marietta. Probably gonna expensive as fuck, but my dad reeeeeeeeally wants to go. I'd prefer to stay home and watch it on TV. The Marta train (the Atlanta subway system) doesn't go all the way up to the new Braves stadium. Used to, I could park at a Marta station way up on the north end of the line and ride into Atlanta and get off the train right there at the Stadium. Now I'll have to park AT the stadium somewhere. And probably walk 5 miles from the truck to the stadium... and he's a fucking old man with a bad foot. This oughta be fun. ::)

A farmer was selling his peaches door to door. He knocked on a door and a shapely 30-something woman dressed in a very sheer negligee answered the door. He raised his basket to show her the peaches and asked, "Would you like to buy some peaches?"
She pulled the top of the negligee to one side and asked, "Are they as firm as this?"
He nodded his head and said, “Yes ma’am,” and a little tear ran from his eye.
Then she pulled the other side of her negligee off asking, "Are they nice and pink like this?"
The farmer said, "Yes." and another tear came from the other eye.
Then she unbuttoned the bottom of her negligee and asked, "Are they as fuzzy as this?"
He again said, “Yes,” and broke down crying.
She asked, "Why on earth are you crying?"
Drying his eyes he replied, "The drought got my corn, the flood got my soybeans, a tornado leveled my barn, and now I think I’m gonna get fucked out of my peaches."
She asked, "Why on earth are you crying?"
Drying his eyes he replied, "The drought got my corn, the flood got my soybeans, a tornado leveled my barn, and now I think I’m gonna get fucked out of my peaches."
