Yeah, those images weren't cherry picked or anything.

They WEREN'T.

Did anything like the picture on the left happen during the widespread, multi-city, racial protests that went on for several months during the summer?

 :yessign:

Did anything like the picture on the left happen during the one-day post-rally protes... I mean "VIOLENT ARMED INSURECTION"... at the capitol on Jan 6th?

 :nosign:

...and they were armed and invaded the capitol... that's a bit unique. Why pretend it isn't?

Why PRETEND they were "armed"?

Do a Google image search for "capitol insurrection photos". Now try to find some photos of people armed with their AR's or shotguns or pistols.

Hmmm. Okay. Try this then. Do a Google search for "capitol armed insurrection photos".

Damn. Still not seeing any crowds of people with guns... or crowds carrying any other noticeable non-firearm weapons. Although... Elsewhere, during news broadcasts, I did see a couple of pictures somewhere of someone spraying pepper spray. That might qualify as "armed". Let's have a moment of silence for all the thousands of people killed by pepper spray in the last year. :-\

Okay... now... Would you like me to identify where this photo was taken? Right down the street from my moms cousins church in Stone Mountain Georgia. I used to ride my bicycle down that street on my way into Stone Mountain Park when I was a kid. Are you old enough to have children? Would you let your child ride his/her bike past that group of people?

That is what an "armed insurrection" usually looks like to normal people when they aren't being biased and taking political affiliations into account.

Ice cream from China contaminated with coronavirus: report - https://www.foxnews.com/world/chinese-ice-cream-contaminated-covid-19

How can that be cost effective :?:

And :WTF: are we doing buying Ice Cream from China anyway.

Ew. I'm sure as shit not buying it.

But after reading the thing, it doesn't say anything about the ice cream being sold in the US. It just says "provinces outside of Tianjin." Like you said, the cost of refrigerating it wouldn't be cost effective.

I don't buy ice cream much anymore. When I do, it's almost always Mayfield brand, and the Mayfield dairy is about 5 or 10 minutes from my house.

Speaking of refrigeration being cost effective... I watched that movie The Founder earlier this year. It mentions one of things Ray Croc did to improve profits at McDonalds was substitute a powdered based milkshake instead of a refrigerated dairy milkshake. These days, I don't think a dairy milkshake and the refrigeration units/space would break a McDonalds. But they'll still always serve that powdered softserve bullshit to max profits because they don't give a shit if people are eating fake food or not. :D

It's relevant to you because you refuse to simply accept that he's a Trump supporter and he did bad things. I didn't realize that "actors" were acting 24/7 and incapable of having authentic views.

You "act" as though thousands and thousands of Biden supporters didn't burn shit and riot ALL SUMMER LONG, ALL ACROSS THE COUNTRY. A collective of dimwits break into the capital without setting any cop cars on fire, without setting any buildings on fire, and I'm supposed to be disproportionately MORE outraged by THEIR behavior? Why, exactly? It's one day in one city... versus hundreds of days, in dozens of cities, including MY OWN.

Anybody else remember how dozens of cities were boarding things up like they were getting ready for a hurricane back in November? It wasn't a hurricane though, it was just an election. And what they feared was what might happen if Biden lost to Trump. Trump lost though. How many cities had pro-Trump riots in response? Precisely zero.

My heads right here in reality. Where is everyone elses?

I don't see why it isn't possible to simply say THIS ONE GUY is a fucking retard. Because he goes around wearing steer horns on his head, showing up to all kinds of activist events. Regardless of who he voted for, he's a fucking shithead. And I'd label pretty much ANYONE who is a chronic activist/protestor to ALSO be a fucking shithead. The world has enough activists. I'm sick to damned death of activists. These dip shits want to force their point of view on everyone. FUCK OFF, ALREADY. GO HOME and work on YOURSELF. Get off social media and find a hobby you can do without forcing everyone else to witness how awesome you are for it.

The Klan sides with Trump, if you voted for Trump, you side with the Klan.

Really? Is that all the logic it requires to formulate a thought? Okay, here's one...

Nazi's breathed oxygen and walked upright. Fish breathe water and swim. If you don't breathe in water and swim, you side with the Nazi's.

Where's my fucking CNN show?

How widespread are these views you're talking about?

https://mndaily.com/233763/opinion/op-reverseracism2/

Almost humorous how the very first sentence is:
“Reverse racism” is what a white person may use to describe a belief that any social or economic gains by Black people somehow undermine the white experience.

 :headbonk:

NO, STUPID.  ::) (If I didn't know any better, I'd think these people were trolling, but they're dead serious)

That sentence essentially says, "When a black man rightfully earns 50 dollars through his own hard work, the white man thinks he somehow stole it from the whites."

Only racist fucking people think that. Obviously he believes all whites are racist. What kind of a self-important asshole thinks everyone automatically hates them? Personally, I don't know you, and I don't care enough about you to fucking hate you. Color ain't enough reason to value anyone, much less DE-value them. It ain't "white virtue proclaiming" I'm doing here, it's just how shit is. Get over yourself.

What the hell do you have to do to make these people realize that if they disapprove of white people visually identifying black people and discriminating against them, then it is obviously equally possible for a person to visually identify a white person and discriminate against them based only on visual identification.

If it's not possible to be racist against whites because the reason one might be acting "discriminatory" against them would have nothing to do with skin color,... then it is equally possible for me to act in a discriminatory manner against all black people for reasons OTHER THAN THEIR SKIN COLOR. See how this works?

If shit keeps going this way... I'm afraid that these people are going to be in for a shock. They forget, this is AMERICA, and we are the craziest and most violent people on the planet. They aren't going to steamroll their opponents without pushback. There are more whites than blacks. Do the fucking math.

It's also inaccurate to say that "blacks can't be racist". BULLSHIT. Blacks are sometimes racist against OTHER BLACKS. Candidly ask several groups of dark skinned black women what they think about light skinned black women. They will not have nice things to say about them. Furthermore... HUTU vs TUTSI. The guy who instigated that shit started off by broadcasting over the radio shit like what Don Lemon said in that post Haunted made yesterday.

The 4 comments (as of this post - if they don't get deleted) are all expressing disapproval. :busted:

A thought: In the 90's, we used to make fun of the political correctness dorks by saying that they'd end a prayer with "Amen... and awomen." Now... they ACTUALLY DO THAT.

If prayers were actually sexist in some way, or that word were somehow indicative of gender, perhaps it wouldn't be so fucking silly. Because what you're really accomplishing by saying "Amen... and awomen." is akin to having a Price Is Right model come out and show off your shiny golden goodguy badge to everyone.

The argument could be made, "Well if some people assign gender to it because it says 'A men' and that offends them, then what's the harm in being more inclusive and making them feel better?" Well, I'll tell you. Perhaps ignorance and stupidity offends ME. And who died and made you King to determine which one of us it is more preferable to offend?

ThEY CAN KIsS My FaT VagInA!

Perhaps the better argument is... why the fuck are they recognizing religion at all? You wanna pray, go to church. This is entirely why I oppose people like Reverend Raphael Warnock becoming senators. He has no experience in politics, he has no education in law... and yet we're gonna trust someone who believes in invisible friends in the sky... to run the fucking country competently? Or is it more likely that he doesn't REALLY believe any of that bullshit, and he just used his church as a way to accumulate wealth and evade taxes, and that's what he will continue doing as a senator?

I didn't pick it out or anything. This machine was a Lenovo IdeaCentre K330 pre-built package or whatever you call it, purchased from the old TigerDirect distribution center that used to be located near me (closed a few years ago unfortunately). Other than power supplies, it's been a solid machine. Got it as a Christmas present from my old lady sometime in the 2010 to 2012 area, can't really remember. So it's around 10 years old. The original 1.33 TB HDD is still going strong.

It's a nice looking box. The 3-way switch on the front makes the flame change colors (red, green, or blue), and supposedly would set the performance level of the power supply. I never noticed any difference with it and I always kept it on red. However, the power supply had a proprietary plug that connected to that switch, and since the original PSU went bad, the switch has been disconnected and does nothing anymore. So now I keep it lit up green just so it matches my Razer mouse lights.

I think in the interest of factual accuracy, the admin should temporarily suspend your posting privs until Trump is out of office.

Me and my old lady were yelling at each other about it last night (yelling in agreement, we're like that *shrugs*) that ALL SUMMER LONG you had people burning cop cars, throwing explosives at cops, taking over courthouses and police precincts, terrorizing neighborhoods... and they were just "protestors". But the people who gathered on the steps of the capital building were VIOLENT INSURRECTIONISTS!!! ...who I guess would've continued "insurrecting" but... ya know... eh... it got to be about 6pm, ...it was getting dark, ....they looked at each other and said, "Geez, I'm tired.", so they went home and the violent insurrection and overthrow of the government just kinda piddled out, I guess.

Some of them were spraying pepper spray at cops, one guy had fucking zip ties so he could handcuff members of Congress or perhaps use them to secure doors against police intervention. I have no problem calling those people "rioters" just like I had no problem calling them rioters all summer long once they stayed out past curfew and actively resisted police efforts to secure the streets and protect property. The girl who was shot, as horrible as it was, it was her own fault. She had to be able to see and hear the guy pointing a gun at her, and she continued advancing through the window. She got handled.

I don't think my graphics card has a fan on it. It's an older AMD Radeon HD 6450. No fan, just a heat sink. From google, it looks like there were a few different versions of this card, some with a fan, some without. I guess mine had a small enough chip that it didn't require a dedicated fan.

I don't know if any GPU's are made like this anymore, but if you can find one for a newer machine you might be building, I'd recommend it. The fewer fans the better.
