Ugh....shaking off last night with a rip and a beer. There was a big fireworks show in the bay last night and the group rounded up to watch from a neighboring beach.

Everyone had their little flasks and stashes of all kinds of edibles (read: pot/shroom bakings) and we all had a blast. A girl that was with us decided (all great ideas come from being high, eh?) to try to offer an officer a shroom chocolate as a gag.

Everyone looked like this while she tried to persuade the officer to take one and eat it.


The officer just looked at her, patted her on the head, and said, "You remind me of my daughter. You guys keep an eye on her and make sure she doesn't offer anymore of us drugs, okay?"

We wrapped her up in a blanket and told her to sit still while the show was on.

Sigma obviously doesn't live in the U.S., otherwise every person in the group would be facing drug charges.  In fact, the above post wouldn't have been made.  They don't have internet for prisoners.   


BTW, tried a beer called Alimony Ale, a 6.8% IPA, pretty good for what it is.  It's wholly average for what it is, but so is the price on it so it's not too bad.

Also, had the pleasure of trying a few new drinks the other night at a basement jazz lounge.  Tried a Singapore Sling, man those things are fucking good.  Also had a couple Long Island Iced Teas and a "Texas Tea"...which if you don't know what it is, is basically a L.I. Iced Tea except on steroids, powerful drink pretty much solid alcohol.    Also had one max-power drink, called an Old Fashioned, that thing was solid fucking alcohol I swear, came in a small glass but packed one helluva punch that's for sure.  When you can feel the burn of the alcohol going down your throat and yet it still tastes fucking amazing and smooth, you know it's the real deal.  Made me real good and drunk, and I think the rest of the club was drinking them too.  Especially the band lol.  Good stuff.

On one of my family visits to GA when I was 17-18 I introduced my cousin who was 21 to Jack Daniels, he had never drank anything harder than wine.  The outcome looked very similiar to that video.
He was a big kid, about 6' 4" and about 280-300.  I could see him getting out of control, but I could not wrestle the bottle away from him.  I knew I could not bring him home like that, so I went to another cousins house for some help.  The kid fell down at least a half a dozen times and was rolling around on the ground, but he never spilled a drop of the whisky    Eventually me and the cousin I tried to get help from had to bring him home.  We brought him in and laid him on the living room floor, his father was yelling and kicking him, but he did not even know anyone was there     There was a lot of tension between the family for a while after that, since their son had never done anything like that until I came to visit

You're a month early though. 

I might hit up the big Oktoberfest shindig a few miles up the road in the mountains in Helen GA this year. They usually start off the festivities with a big tacky fucking keg tapping. It's not really a "keg" though, its more like an enormous 5000 gallon wooden barrel. Everyone wears their stupid fucking lederhosen shit with green shorts and suspenders and do the chicken dance. It's kinda fun, although it's not really kosher to get absolutely shitfaced drunk and make an ass out of yourself at the festival. They try to keep it as family friendly as they can, so the cops crack down on the obnoxious drunks with great haste. Doubt I'll be hitting Biketoberfest in Florida this year though. I was there last year with some friends from another club down in Brunswick GA, and it was pretty cool to meet people and party and see all the custom bikes. Wish I could go again, but I'm still trying to save up some money for this damn wedding (cha-fuckin-ching).

I'd like to hit up an oktoberfest event or a medieval fair or something this fall, and some college football games now that I'm thinking about it. Fall is an awesome season for beer, sports, fishing/hunting, and a lot of things.
