Well distilling your own vodka is a good bit of prep. Fermenting OJ hooch is prep. I wouldn't really recommend people trying to distill their own shit. It can become an expensive hobby. I make all kinds of liquor and wine and shit these days, mostly whiskey and vodka though. If you wanna make moonshine, that shit's cheap and easy. But if you wanna make actual whiskey that tastes like it should, that can get expensive. I usually get these 5 liter oak barrels to age it in that run me about 95 bucks each. How long I age it depends on what kinda flavor I wanna get, but never more than about 5 months. Past 5 months, it starts tasting way way too woody, and that's coming from me who likes it pretty dark and woody already.

As for vodka, after I distill it from the mash initially, I'll run it through the still a second time to further distill it. I have the end of the condenser running into a charcoal filter each time to further purify it. After two distillations, it tastes pretty transparent. The first time I made any, I distilled it only once WITH NO CHARCOAL FILTRATION and it tasted fucking nasty. So I distilled it again, and it still tasted nasty, but a tad less nasty. So charcoal filtering vodka is IMPERATIVE! NEVER EVER FAIL TO FILTER IT! PERIOD!

But anyway, your regular traditional Harvey Wallbanger is actually pretty easy to make.

Take a highball glass or anything about 12oz. Put your ice in it. Pour in about 2 or 3 shots of regular old 80-90 proof vodka. Pour in some OJ, but make sure to leave room for about a shot of Galliano, then take your spoon and stir the vodka and OJ together. Then take the spoon and pour about a shot of the Galliano over the back of it to float it on the top.

So really its not any prep. It's basically just a plain-jane screwdriver with Galliano poured on top. Any bartender worth a damn knows how it's made.

It's probably very unprofessional of me, but... I'm drinking 2 bottles of Miller Genuine Draft at a time from this big fat 24 oz Moosehead "The Bull Moose" glass that I got from the bar back on St. Pattys Day years ago, hehe. Dunno how many beers I've had, lost count. Probably 10 or 12 or more, I dunno. Did a few boilermakers in it too with some Jim Beam. I'm Watching the UFC PPV Aldo vs Mendes 2 on a free stream. Don't worry, none of you assholes are missing nothing. Pretty boring PPV so far.

So it didn't take me long to figure out this small island in Georgia. Women come here to get f***ed summarizes it pretty well. I'm sort of fresh meat for anyone between the age of 22 and 55 seemingly.

Two nights ago I have about 8 doubles of Jameson on the rocks, plus beer, plus shots, then apparently I bought a liter of Jameson and was chugging it in the street. Needless to say, I do not remember the last 3 bars we went to.

So a girl comes up to me and two others, shakes our hands, and asks what we're doing tonight. I reply "alright let me just get this straight: I am not going to f*** you. You are NOT getting this d**k, and I do NOT want your p*ssy" Everyone dies laughing including the girl, then I say no no and repeat myself to her. I do not remember this at ALL, but everyone says they'd never laughed so hard before. My friend says she wasn't attractive, but was a good sport. He was apologizing for me and she said it's fine I know he's having a good time.

I dunno if I buy this shit though. Think I agree with the viewpoint that stories like this are pure clickbait. These distilleries make money hand over fist and always produce more each year than the last, which is driven by extensive market research and sales projections. Getting ahold of the aging barrels would be the biggest problem for any distiller. A lot of them end up making them in-house themselves, which makes the process much cheaper. Because raw materials for making them? No sweat. Oak. There's PLENTY of fucking oak for making barrels.

So I disagree that anyone's not finding their brand anymore. Bullshit. Who are these people? Introduce me to them. And if prices of shit go up, it's merely a conspiratorial effort on behalf of distilleries to mimic assholes like OPEC and increase profits.

...Meanwhile,... it ain't gonna cost ME one single fucking dime more to produce my own shit, which is better than any of the filthy dumpster drainings that any of these commercial brands have to offer. Fuck 'em.

One of them gets them sued for making shit up, the other they can put online all day long and act like they did some sort of investigative journalism and get clicks.

Bourbon is made entirely of renewable materials and the only thing that some people might question is the availability of specific types of hard water that don't really make it any more "Bourbon" than using any other kind of water.

Unless the US A runs out of Oak, Corn or Water, it's pretty much impossible to run out of bourbon.

Then they Wish Instead Of Laughing they take the beer slap him and help with detox which is short but PAINFUL AND UNCOMFORTABLE AND EVEN FATAL if done quick and improperly and mass amounts like a whole entire Wine Sized Bottle Of Vodka More Like Half give or take 25% Okay?!?!
