Also... maybe the whole "Parkinsons patients being tasered" thing wasn't a good description. I was trying to describe the way they were constantly moving around before the snap, showing blitz, backing off, making it impossible for Manning to call out the mike blitzer, linebackers showing blitz and swapping D-line gaps with one another 40 times before every play, etc etc. But... I wonder if you electrocuted someone with Parkinsons if the convulsing from the being electrocuted would cancel out the convulsing from the Parkinsons.

I'm looking forward to the Clemson/FL St. game this weekend

The winner will be ranked higher than Ohio St. once the BCS rankings come out next week. The winner should be ranked in the top three in the BCS.

There is still a lot of football to be played. Clemson will still have SC to play and FL St. will still have Miami & FLA.

FL state is going to have a tough time @ clemson, just like clemson is going to have a tough time @ SC.

I hope FLA state wins their games, I think they might be the better team out of all that you just mentioned.

so many joke calls in this game, glad nfl loses don't mean as much

and it wasn't just this, a false start was called that was an obvious offsides, refs failed to give brees a timeout (then he throws a fucking pick)...joke city breh, nfl hates the fucking saints

Sorry you missed this man, but the Saints defender obviously hit the defenseless offensive lineman under the chin.....just be glad they didn't throw him out.

Let's put it this way, if that hold doesn't occur, Tom Brady still gets the pass off and the safety still doesn't assist the corner. That wasn't the only no-call on a hold that game. New Orleans got away with a few too. I just don't understand how NO gave Brady the ball 3 times at the end. They should've been able to bleed off the clock better than that. They didn't, shit happens, and Brady wins. No sense being down about it. It was a great game. And being 5-1 right now ties you between a few others for the 2nd best record in the NFL. No sweat.

I have an ex-coworker and friend that has this horrible disease. We laughed and made jokes about his gait and coordination......he would dribble coffee from the pot to his office or place at the scope. We just thought that was one of several of his eccentric behaviours. Then we found out. He retired and is hoping to get a inplant that will stimulate a certain part of his brain so he won't have uncontrolled movements or total seize ups. So you're right about that. It's classy of you to clarify what you meant, but I think most people understand you were just making an analogy. Then again, I don't have Parkinson's...........now back to football.......

HAHA! What? I wasn't trying to be classy. I was trying to be UNclassy. I talk about hooking truck batteries to Parkinsons patients nuts and you think I'm being classy?

Don't worry. Karma might just come back to bite me on it. For years, I worked soldering and brazing copper pipe as well as helping guys weld steel pipe with tig and mig welders, and occasionally I'd do a little welding myself on things other than pipe (cuz I never got certified properly for pipe welding... company policy shit, etc). From what I've heard, breathing the fumes given off by welding metals has supposedly been somehow linked to Parkinson's in some people. Most of the time, I was never wearing a helmet either, so all those fumes just wafted right the fuck into my face. Sounds stupid, but when you're merely holding an elbow in place while someone else tacks it up before doing a full weld on it, there ain't much need to wear a helmet. And when i was welding up hangers and shit, most of the time it was just a quick spot weld and I could close my eyes while dabbing it on.

It'll probably never happen, but it makes me wonder. The company spent sooooo much time training us up on OSHA shit to cover their asses, but they don't take the pro-active precautions of providing welders with respirator equipment to protect them from the fumes and possible lawsuits years down the road. They never did that kinda shit with people working with asbestos years and years ago, and look where THAT led.
