MSU's defense has a decent shot of shutting down OSU. If they can put some points on the board in addition to that, then they're in there.

FSU v. Bama, bros. Probably going to make a bet on how much FSU scores on the gators in the first half, sorry Sarge.

As for QB stats, Mike Glennon, someone that was always outperformed by UNC's now-injured qb(bryn renner) is killing it for the bucs. I actually bet on the bucs today, haha. Aaron Murray is great but, I certainly don't place him upon a pedestal. I think a lot of these qb's are close in talent.

Murray no doubt is a very good qb..with nice stat lines to back himself up..but best qb in sec history? wouldn't go that far..wonder how much this hurts his draft stock..somebody is going to get a chance at him with a shitty pick

"Best" in SEC history would be hard to make a case for anyway no matter who it is. SEC's had so many greats, it's literally impossible to say which one is the greatest. Luck and other things play into stats. As luck had it, Cam Newton only played one season in the SEC. Maybe if he had 4 straight years in the SEC, who knows what stats he could've attained.

One thing to keep in mind though... guys like AJ McCarron and Tim Tebow had as long at starting QB, had great receivers to throw to as well, won National Titles, stayed healthy the whole time, and they still didn't pile up the yards that Murray has. I had no idea just how good this kid really was when he started 4 seasons ago. He looked like a tiny little scared and confused boy out there. But it didn't take him long, maybe 2 or 3 games in, and he was slinging bombs to AJ Green like a 4th year vet. When he started, he didn't really look like anything much, very unassuming and humble. By the time his freshman season was over, everyone in Athens was convinced how good he really was. He's got the throwing accuracy, the confidence to throw to covered guys, the ability to read defense in motion. He's just a smart player. I think once he gets to the next level, he's only gonna get even better. And people who might doubt how much impact he had at the position... just take a look at what Georgia does next year. Now Hutson Mason ain't gonna be no chopped liver, he's a decent QB too, but he's no Aaron Murray.

But in a nutshell... anyone calling Murray "the greatest"? Eh, I don't necessarily agree. "One" of the greatest though? Absolutely.

You never know who he'll go to though. I saw some kinda mock draft story the other day and he wasn't even listed as a 1st or 2nd round pick. Having an injury this late might just steer him even lower into the draft. But then again, maybe a few of these guys have some brains and can see the real potential in him. I tell you what, Matt Ryan's been a pretty good QB for Atlanta and he's a swell guy, and no offense meant to him, but if I were the guy calling the draft pick shots for Atlanta and Murray's name was still in the hat by the time Atlanta's 1st pick came up, I'd snatch his ass up without a second thought. Even if I didn't start him, he'd be a great backup, PLUS it'd be good to know that he's not starting somewhere else for me to have to play against.

I hate it for the kid.  I've seen a bunch of SEC QB's in my time (I'm an old geezer) and I think he is one that will be special in the NFL someday....depending on his knee. I know he has the arm and apparently the head for the next level.  Was it the right or left knee?  Matters when pushing off on a throw. Maybe he drops so low the Saint's can pick him up; backup Drew a few years, then step right into a good situation.   

Mizzou is for real. They will methodically beat A&M....27-17.  Auburn over Alabama by a score of 23- 13!   LSU escapes upset by 10.  Regardless, Fl.St. goes to the championship game vs. whomever and wins going away.

Thursday, Ole Miss and MS. St. in the game that separates families and causes fights among drunk and sober fans world wide.    No prediction....leaning towards Ole Miss because they're home, but you never can tell how this game will go. If you have a chance to watch it, do so; it should be entertaining.

I think Georgia's gonna end up scoring more points against Georgia Tech with Hutson Mason at QB than they would've with Aaron Murray. I dunno, I just got a weird feeling that this Mason kid might end up outshining Murray. He's not as fast of a runner, but he passes pretty damn good. Maybe he doesn't have the ability to complete long devastating bombs like Murray did, that's yet to be seen, but he seems to be every bit as accurate as Murray. Maybe Mason finishing out this season in place of Murray is a good thing and will give him some experience and confidence to start off next year even stronger than he would've.

I say Georgia beats Georgia Tech in Atlanta by at least 21 points.

I know GB did not have Aaron Rogers, but Detroit dominated this game.
