I agree, Louisville has the Boise State curse.

I think if Oregon wins all of their games, they deserve a shot.  If Ohio St. gets in, I hope the same thing happens to them as it has in the past, they get blown out and embarrassed on national TV
Alabama has not looked as good this year, but as long as they keep winning you can't move them out of the title game.
If it came down to Alabama, Oregon, Ohio St., and (Clemson or Fla St.) and they are all undefeated who would be the two in the title game.  I would definitely drop Ohio St. (weak schedule), the other team to drop would be hard, but it would probably be Clemson/Fla St.

I think Michigan is as good as Ohio State... So I'm going to call OSU losing that game. Watching their(osu's) first half against Northwestern, and knowing how comparable teams have been interacting with each other(AZ state, northwestern, wisco, x).. I think michigan will probably do it.

He has a history of verbal abuse of fans.  He has been fined twice before for the same stuff.  I see a large fine and possible suspension in his future.

ESPN's story about the incident - http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/9786550/dominic-raiola-detroit-lions-accused-verbally-abusing-university-wisconsin-band-members

Man. Just when the Falcons finally impress a few folks by winning a playoff game against Seattle and start getting a little shred of respect from the commentators and the media... then they lose to the fucking Jets. And people wonder why I've been so down on them this year. Anybody else remember that they didn't even win one single preseason game? Anybody realize that their one and only win so far this year has been against St. Louis? Anybody noticed that they lost to Miami and the New York Jets as well as a New England Patriots team that's basically playing with one arm and one leg tied behind their back? They like to play Ozzy's Crazy Train over the PA before some of the kickoffs. I think that song accurately depicts Atlanta's season so far. "Going off the rails." :mrdead:

Meanwhile Denver, my favorite team to hate, is on track to have a perfect season and maybe even steal the record long-held by the 1972 Miami Dolphins. A black man is president for the second time in a row, Jeff Hanneman is dead, and the price of ammunition is so high that it's almost too expensive to shoot myself. I'm starting to wonder... maybe this planet is another planets Hell. :D

Injuries....the X factor in a team's fortunes. I was both surprised and delighted to see the Jets beat the Falcons in Atlanta. Not delighted at the injuries...I know how it feels when "your team" suffers them. It seems like they come in bunches, too.

Early to make predictions about who ends up where in the playoffs, but the NFC South teams are giving the Saints a good head start at winning the division. The Saints have a defense this year? I have to say yes. Better tackling and more swarming to the ball + more sacks = I like it!

Offensive line gets a D for basic run blocking, but they seem to be doing much better at escorting runners down field. I still worry about the hits on Brees. If he goes down, everything changes.

As for the obnoxious, rude, no class Bear fans I say "dine on digested gumbo for a week".  :P

Who's the backup in New Orleans?

Short answer: Luke McCown

Don't know how accurate this is, but it came from the Saints website and is apparently especially written for the "fantasy freaks":

Ironically, they state he signed with the Falcons in 2012. I have to admit I was mildly impressed with his time at QB in pre-season.  He seemed to have a strong arm and looked confident in his throws. But, alas, it was but pre-season, and the poor guy can't be expected to run with all the ACL injuries he's suffered.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

   8/28/2012 2:23:00 PM
Description: Quarterback Luke McCown signed a deal with the Atlanta Falcons.
Insight: We can't see any fantasy value here, but he was in the New Orleans camp for a while, maybe he can give the Falcons the Saints plays.

   2/28/2011 12:15:00 PM
Description: The Jaguars are reportedly close to re-signing QB Luke McCown to a one-year deal. SOURCE: FLORIDA TIMES-UNION
Insight: McCown tore the ACL in his right knee and was on injured reserve for most of the 2010 season. The Jags are expected to address the quarterback position either through the draft, free agency, or both.

   9/20/2010 10:05:00 PM
Description: After entering Sunday for a faltering David Garrard, McCown tore the ACL in his left knee. He tore the same ACL back in 2006.
Insight: With McCown done for the season, Jacksonville signed Todd Bouman on Monday. That's good news for Garrard's job security, as Bouman has never done even enough as a backup to stick with the same team for very long. (RapidDraft.com)

   3/13/2010 7:20:00 PM
Description: The Jaguars acquired Luke McCown from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for a 7th round pick.
Insight: MCCown is strictly a back up in this league, so the 7th rounder wasn't such a high price. He would need a David Garrard injury to matter in fantasy (and maybe not even then.) (Sportsbuff.com)

   8/26/2009 9:50:00 AM
Description: According to NFL.com, the Buccaneers are gauging trade interest in three of their QBs-McCown, Byron Leftwich and Josh Johnson.
Insight: Leftwich appears to be the favorite to win the starting job, but this situation seems uncertain at best. (SportsBuff.com)

   7/26/2009 12:14:00 AM
Description: ESPN.com's Pat Yasinkas reports that he's hearing the Bucs' starting job is McCown's to lose.
Insight: It was previously reported that McCown would head into camp as the starter, but this seems to indicate that he'll have to disappoint to be overtaken. Of course, even if he does hang on to the job, McCown doesn't look all that good as a fantasy option. (SportsBuff.com)

   7/21/2009 11:29:00 PM
Description: The St. Petersburg Times reports that McCown is the first-stringer heading into training camp.
Insight: That seemed to be the case back when the team re-signed him, but recent indications had pointed to Byron Leftwich becoming the favorite. He has missed a lot of practice with minor injuries, so Leftwich could well take over the job in camp. Ultimately, whoever starts will be a very low-level fantasy option. (SportsBuff.com)

   6/15/2009 1:45:00 PM
Description: The Bucs' official website reports that coach Raheem Morris believes the starting experience Byron Leftwich brings has to be considered an edge in the competition for Tampa's starting job. Morris also said, though, that the race will come down to preseason performance.
Insight: McCown looked like the front runner back when the team re-signed him and let Jeff Garcia walk, but Leftwich has been gaining steam. Of course, McCown is getting more reps while Leftwich nurses a groin injury. We'll see what happens in camp, though neither is more than a very late fantasy option at best. (SportsBuff.com)

   6/1/2009 10:33:00 AM
Description: The St. Petersburg Times reports that McCown and Byron Leftwich are running pretty closely in the race to start for the Bucs this season.
Insight: McCown looked like the clear front runner back when he re-signed with the team early this off-season, though Leftwich is probably the more talented passer. Neither should be drafted before the late rounds in fantasy leagues, if at all. (SportsBuff.com)

   4/26/2009 9:42:00 AM
Description: First-round pick Josh Freeman told his NFL.com chat crowd that the team told him it signed Byron Leftwich as a smokescreen.
Insight: That would seem to make it more likely that the team will cut Leftwich before the season opens, which in turn would seem to make McCown the favorite once again to break camp as the starter. Even if he does, though, he's no better than a very late fantasy pick -- if that. (SportsBuff.com)

   4/25/2009 7:08:00 PM
Description: The Bucs traded up two spots to draft Josh Freeman with their first pick in the draft on Saturday.
Insight: McCown looked like the front-runner to start for the Bucs early this off-season. If he does win the starting job, he probably won't last beyond one season at most. McCown isn't worth drafting at all in fantasy leagues, though, even if he does win the job. (SportsBuff.com)

   4/14/2009 8:25:00 PM
Description: McCown appeared in two games last season and only attempted one pass, which was incomplete.
Insight: McCown was expected to be the favorite to win the starting QB job in Tampa Bay but will now be pushed by free agent acquisition Byron Leftwich. If he wins the job, McCown would be a number two fantasy QB. (SportsBuff.com)

Who's the backup in New Orleans?

Short answer: Luke McCown

Bah! Saints will be alright, even with him if it comes to it. He's a good backup. Accurate, smart, doesn't panic and do stupid shit, and can run for some yards if it calls for it. Atlanta was fucking RETARDED for not resigning him. Then again, they were retarded even before that for not resigning Chris Redman. They have a fetish for doing retarded shit apparently. They did good last year though, they made great moves like taking Asante Samuel, and if they HAD to let Chris Redman go, Luke McCown wasn't a horrible choice. The one choice they SHOULD'VE made though was to cut Michael Turner LAST YEAR and not this year, maybe then they could've had the option to run more and open things up in the passing game which might've made last years NFC championship end in the end zone and not 4 or 5 fucking yards short of it. ::)

Like we say in Atlanta EVERY year,... "Maybe next year."

I am looking forward to the GA/Mizz game.  I want to see if Mizz is for real, they are 5-0 but have not played anyone tough.

GA is really banged up with many key players out.  If Mizz wins it will be hard to determine how good they are since GA is so banged up.  If GA wins without their key players, that will show Mizz is not as good as their 5-0 record shows.
