Shoot 'Em Up (2007) - starring Clive Owen, Monica Bellucci, Paul Giamatti

Dayum. Kinda hard to rate this one. On one hand, the story and plot was really fucking ridiculous, like to the point of stupidity. On the other hand, the action sequences were fucking INSANE, outrageous, and entertaining as fuck. Like... if you've ever seen Machete... it's fucking crazier than THAT. He stabs a guy through the eye socket with a fucking carrot for fucks sake! So while it's a pretty ridiculous and stupid movie, it's actually pretty funny and entertaining and I can't help but love the shit out of it anyway. I dunno how in the fuck I went this long without somebody telling me to see this thing. It's fucking AWESOME. I love it.

Dunno if I've posted this before, maybe I have. But I stumbled across this really cool site that has a ton of classic exploitation films, grindhouse style movies, b-movies, horror-porn, softcore. Pretty much the ENTIRE Emmanuelle library, which is very large and pretty impressive that someone was able to collect them all and keep them somewhere. Everything from the old foreign ones with Laura Gemser, the famous 80's ones with Sylvia Kristel, even the more recent ones with Krista Allen and whoever the bimbo is that's doing them now. A lot of old Pam Grier blaxploitation films, womens prison exploitation films, cult classics. If you're into the whole grindhouse style b-movie cheese type stuff, this site is right up your alley. All the downloads are free, and you have the option to pay for the "premium" download ability, but I wouldn't recommend it. Free is always better, and it just means that it takes longer to download a movie. Typically, it'll take you about 2 hrs to download a movie, no biggie, just wait.

Out of the Furnace (2013). It was alright but I wish there was more to the ending. After the stand off the movie just abruptly ends and you don't know what is the outcome for the characters after that event.

Stumbled upon this movie( idk if its an Indy). Was a bit intrigued by the title. At first (for the first 10 minutes)I kinda got bored but later was eventually hooked to find out what happens next.
Spoiler Alert!.. For a flick which stars only 1 actor (Robert Redford), I mean just ONE all through out, its not bad and certainly a must watch!

I'm about a 1/2 through that film and I think it is excellent thus far.

Downloaded 2 different movies I saw on wipfilms. Both directed by Joseph Guzman. Doubt anybody knows who the hell he is, because even I didn't know who the hell he was, and I'm pretty big into the whole cheese-cinema b-movie thing. Both movies would get filed into the rape-revenge category of your b-movie section. If you've seen one, you've pretty much seen them all. And there's plenty out there. They're all basically the same format. There's not much plot to them. Some chick gets raped, one of the rapists is usually tasked with the job of killing her, either he screws up and doesn't kill her or somehow she escapes, then she gets pissed and comes back and kills them all. So while the movies are pretty poorly acted and low budget, they satisfy all the necessary things to be a guy movie. You got your titties, your violence, your action, your blood and gore. What more could you ask for?

Run! Bitch Run! (2009)
2 catholic school girls set out to sell bibles door to door to raise money for their girls school. Pretty nice just-outta-the-shower scene in the early part of the movie featuring a 100% nude Christina DeRosa. Very nice. They come across the wrong house (of course), they kill one of them, take the other out the woods to rape her, and the idiot of the bunch doesn't kill her. She survives, stumbles back to civilization, recovers, then goes on a murdering spree. All in all, the movie kinda sucked, even for a b-movie. The acting was hideous, the story was garbage,... but there were definitely PLENTY of tits in the movie. In fact, with maybe one single exception, every female character in the movie shows her tits at least once. Nice, right? The ending is probably the best part. Spoiler alert, skip to the next paragraph if you actually wanna see the movie and don't wanna know about the ending... we good? Okay. She fuckin' fucks him up the ass with a god damn machete!

Nude Nuns With Big Guns (2010)
This was the better of the two. The story was way more outlandish, but the way it was presented with cutscene captions kinda smacked of a Robert Rodriguez or Quentin Tarantino film. So... there's this catholic priesthood that manufactures heroin and forces the nuns to cut, weigh, and bag it all. The priests sell it to bikers. One of the nuns tries to steal a kilo, so the pres of the biker club starts killing nuns. He takes the lead character, Sister Sarah to his whorehouse and rapes the shit out of her and pimps her out while keeping her doped up on H. She escapes. Lots of murder ensues. Lots of titties throughout. The name of the film doesn't lie at all. Truth in advertising. And again, the ending was pretty cool, so spoiler alert, if you don't wanna know the big finish, read no more.... the nuns lesbian girlfriend who is also a nun ends up getting kidnapped and raped by the biker pres. So when Sister busts in and shoots up the place, her girlfriend jumps up, grabs one of her guns and shoots his fucking dick off. Yes. Shoots his dick the fuck off! He picks it up and looks at it in horror! Fuckin' cool shit!

So I guess I'd recommend Nude Nuns With Big Guns, especially if you're into the whole grindhouse genre like me. I actually liked it. I didn't care too much for Run Bitch Run though.

Just knew of this indie movie.

Been searching where can I possible watch it but haven't seen any links. I got so interested in seeing this film since I was able to read several reviews and comments that said it was really good. I haven't seen any good horror movies for the past 3 years really and was looking forward to see this one coz most critics said that it is really disturbing and even built itself a cult following.

A movie based on a graphic novel "Le Transperceneige ".
I had been waiting for months to see this movie. Was release way back on 2013 (selected countries part. Korea) but got some problems with the distribution company (Weinstien), that's why it took a long time to release it on the US market (July 2014).

Man I was not disappointed with my expectations. Best scifi+darma+action movie I had seen. Nowadays were most films are aiming for the box office, Snowpiercer is does not rely on CG and superstars to entertain the audience.

You need to listen carefully at the dialogues and flow of the events. But somewhere in the middle of the film, everything will makes sense as there is a scene (the one with the teacher and students) that will give sense to everything.

Will really have to watch this movie again and will add this to my classic collections.

Pulp Fiction (for the 1st time)

Yeah, Pulp Fiction's pretty cool. The first time you see it, the way the scenes don't all play in chronological order start to finish can be a little confusing, but that's just one of the quirks of that particular film. The second and third times you see it, that confusion goes away and you probably enjoy the movie even more for it. Tarantino has a real knack for interesting dialogue in his films too. Makes it to where you can watch the same movies over and over again without really getting tired of it like you would doing the same with other films.

He's done lots of movies. A lot of people seem to love the hell out of Reservoir Dogs, and it's not "horrible" in my opinion, but I'm not a huge fan of it. I think that was Tarantino's first film, or at least one of his very first films, and it was a little lower budget than his later ones, which kinda limited what he could do in it.

Probably my favorite he ever did was Kill Bill vol 1 and 2. Both are great movies, but I like Vol 2 a little more, mainly because the last several scenes at the end with David Carradine. The movies are chocked full of some really great characters and stylings that kinda remind you of the old grindhouse drive-in types of movies, but David Carradine and the way he plays Bill is just plain old awesome. If you haven't seen Kill Bill vol 1 and 2 yet, DO IT. You'll fuckin' love it. I've made tons of posts about movies in this thread, and I never rate ANYTHING 10/10, but I'd rate Kill Bill a solid 10/10 all day everyday.

I've heard rumors that Tarantino might possibly be planning a Kill Bill vol 3... and I honestly can't fathom what he could POSSIBLY do with the story past what happened at the end of Vol 2, but seeing as how I'm never disappointed in any of the movies he's ever written and directed, I can't fucking wait to see it and I bet it's gonna be THE SHIT.

Jackie Brown is another great Tarantino movie, and probably my second favorite movie he did.

He also directed the second part of Grindhouse Movie, "Death Proof", and that whole double-feature film just kicks complete ass start to finish. The first part, "Planet Terror" is like a hyper-violent zombie movie directed by Robert Rodriguez, so it's gory as all fuck. If you got to see it in theaters back when it came out, it was really cool, because you basically got to see TWO great movies for the price of one. The only thing that sucked was that it was so long that you'd have to undoubtedly get up for a piss break at some point and miss a few minutes of it.

Yeah, and that sounds kinda ridiculous, like it's reaching way too hard and way too far for it to ever be a good movie. Like it's got Star Wars syndrome, ya know. Like they wanna take a wildly popular franchise of films and write any old bullshit story just to continue wringing the money out of people. And yeah, the new Star Wars movies (if they ever get done with them) will probably suck 10 pound bags of donkey dicks and bastardize everything that was good about the original trilogy. But I can't really say the same thing about a pending Tarantino movie. I've yet to see one single thing Tarantino's ever done that has been even slightly disappointing. So it might just turn out to be the coolest fucking thing ever. On the other hand, it'll be first time Tarantino's ever revisited a story line with a sequel. So who knows what the end result will be. All I know is he shits mounds of 100% pure awesome and has an instinct for knowing everything to do in order to make an excellent movie. I really can't see him putting his name on a movie that wouldn't be the most entertaining thing put to film.

went and saw 2 movies last weekend at the cinemas. The new 300 movie. Full of blood and guts, non stop action, some brutal killing scenes. The story line wasnt that great but if you like a lot of fighting blood and guts its pretty sweet.

Also saw IFrankenstien. Pretty weird movie but not that bad. Story line was a bit meh

Dunno that'd I pay money too see either one of those, especially the 300 sequel. My sister thought I'd LOVE a movie like 300, and she got me a copy of it for xmas a few years back. Watched it once. HATED it. That slo-mo action camera shit just gets on my nerves, especially in a movie about something set that far back in time. And the dialogue is just sooooo horrible. It's just an exercise in steroid fueled mental masturbation. It's laughably BAD.

I think his crazy ass wanted to wait for that little girl actress to get old enough to actually play the part. Whatever the reasons, I don't think he needs to revisit that one, unless he's looking for an excuse to spend a bunch of time with Uma again and get some nice feet shots worked in haha

True story time...I have a friend in LA who worked in a position for a time to get regularly tipped by Hollywood type people...for what it's worth...Tarantino is a bad tipper...Kevin Smith...great tipper....so the dialog about tipping at the restaurant scene in Reservoir Dogs was not bs haha...he really feels that way.

Oh...he also, at that time, had the Pussy Wagon parked on his property...
