Resident Evil: The Final Chapter
- Thank GOD. Not for the movie. For the FINAL chapter. How many sequels does it take until you get tired of something? This many, I hope. And it was supposed to be the LAST Resident Evil movie they'll make, but... from the way it ends, they leave a convenient opening for themselves to make more if they want to. Uh muh guhd, I hope they don't want to.
If you've seen all the other Resident Evil movies, then you've already seen this one too, so maybe don't waste your time and money. It's the same crap in the same wrapper, just with a different expiration date sticker.
Ghost in the Shell
- I only watched it out of sheer boredom and because I was too lazy to hunt for something else at the time. I had seen the old feature length animated version of this story years ago when I got it on some PC CD movie thing from the bargain bin at Office Depot yeeeears ago, and it was a 2 disc thing, and the 1st disc was scratched to where I could only play the last half of that disc, so I never saw the whole thing. But what I did see was kinda stupid and unremarkable. From what I remember of it, the new movie doesn't follow the old story very much. And I thought the new movie would be fucking retarded seeing as how it's based on a god damn anime thing, because anime is fucking retarded, period. Any anime fans? Yeah, your shit is retarded, grow up and stop watching cartoons, dummy. But the new movie is actually... very good. A pleasant surprise. Was not expecting to like it. I don't like Scarlett Johanson as an actress, but she manages not to ruin the movie. All in all, pretty good, would recommend.

Ghost in the shell was good. BUT, I'd put it a hair below "good" if there was a word for that.
Passengers was disappointing to me. I like Chris Pratt as an actor, but the movie sucked.

Alien Covenant
Not entirely what I expected it to be. Xenomorphs almost play a minor and unimportant role in the film. I was a little bummed that I didn't get to see Kenny fuckin Powers get ripped in half by an alien. Pretty good movie, but not really as IMAX worthy as it promised to be.

First 30 min of the movie kinda bit a bore. But then again it has it moments. The ending was kinda "WTF".
Jakes acting is decent in my opinion and Ryan hmm. Dont wanna spew out some spoilers

It was basically Alien with a jellyfish instead of a xenomorph.

Dunkirk
- Sucked. Next.
The Dark Tower
- Sucked. Next.
Girls Trip
- Didn't see. Won't see. Are you fuckin' crazy? Who cares. Next.
Free Fire
- Thought it was gonna be really cool. But it's mostly just a bunch of B and C-listers wearing 70's butterfly collars and crawling around a dirty dilapidated warehouse. That's really the entire movie. So: Sucked. Next.

Atomic Blonde
- Sucked. Everyone talked about it saying "It's the female James Bond." No. Not at all. The story was probably a ripoff of James Bond, but it still came across as very NOT James Bond. Not the worst movie I've ever seen, but certainly not a movie I'll elect to see again if I have the choice. Way overhyped.

Kong SKull Island
Heh. I got bored enough to watch that one a few weeks ago. Yeah, kinda sucked. The most memorable part was somewhere towards the end where they were being chased through marshes and swampland. One character (I forget who) dropped a rifle as they stumbled and fell to the ground, and when the rifle hit the ground, you could VERY VERY CLEARLY see it flex and wobble because it was a rubber prop gun. Had me laughing my ass off as I kept rewinding it to watch it over and over. I couldn't believe whoever was editing that movie chose to leave that part in. Clearly someone didn't give a fuck that day.

IT
It... was pretty good. I thought it would be a horrible failure of an unimaginative mirror image remake, like the Omen remake somebody did some years back. But I was pleasantly surprised. It's been many many years since I've seen the original It with Tim Curry as Pennywise, but from what I remember of it... this new remake is honestly BETTER. It's actually really really creepy, the perfect thing to watch with your old lady if you wanna creep her the fuck out and give her nightmares for a week.
Watched it last night with my old lady, and I've been going around the house all day waving my arms and running at her like the clown in the movie just to scare the shit out of her, lol.

Gilbert - 10/10
A comedy laced bio of Gilbert Gottfried. Holy sheep shit, I laughed until my eyeballs were bulging out and my whole body hurt. Really really good. Would absolutely definitely recommend! I watched it on a free streaming site, but you could probably find it on Netflix or Hulu or AmazonPrime or whatever the fuck you have.
