Iron Sky 8/10

In 1945 the Nazi's send a colony to the moon to keep the idea alive. In 2018 the USA stumbles on their base on the moon and it's decided that now is time time to attack before the USA sends their forces to attack first.

It's pretty fun to watch. Could of been a bit longer imho, but it's an indie film released in relatively few theaters. Unlike all those other indie films who get awards & crap, this one is meant to entertain, not push a point of view on you (I've read it is anti-USA, bu I didn't get that by watching. If it's anti-USA then so was SpaceBalls or Blazing Saddles. I guess if one wanted they could read a lot in to it and make a bunch of political statements based on it but that's stretching). I picked up the BD @ Target for $15.

came accross a dvd quality stream online and even if i still think that frodo and sam are gays, i gave it a try. Was surprised that frodo had just a very small part and no sam. Movie is a bit boring until the mid part.

Looper - 10/10

Starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bruce Willis, and Emily Blunt. Pretty damn cool movie! Dunno how to categorize it. It's kinda sci-fi, kinda thriller, kinda suspense, kinda action, and kinda mystery all at once. It's about time travel, and sometimes that topic in a movie can come across as pretty hokey, but the entire movie uses the concept well. It's set in future, 2040-something I think. But 30 years after 2040, technology advances so much that it's damn near impossible to kill anyone and get away with it. Also, time travel has been invented, but it's been outlawed, so only a very small number of wealthy organized criminal empires have the capability to do it in secret. Since they can't kill anyone in the future, they stick them in the time machine and send them back 30 years to be killed and disposed of. Anyway, dont wanna give away more than that. If you get a chance to watch this one, give it a shot. Pretty sure most of you would like it as much as I did.

Married With Children (seasons 1 through 11) - 10/10

Finally finished watching all 11 seasons of Married With Children this afternoon. Total of 256 episodes, although the torrents were missing a couple of episodes, which were mostly "Best Of" episodes. Unfortunately one of the seasons was also missing the Christmas episode where Sam Kinison played the Ghost of Christmas Past. Only took me... oh... about 8 damned months to work my way through watching it all. But definitely THE greatest sitcom of all time. Do you remember back when you'd watch TV and sitcoms (aka situational comedies) actually had COMEDY in them and you'd LAUGH every once in a while (instead of merely listening to retarded laugh tracks getting played after every phrase of dialogue whether it was funny or not)? Yeah, it's just like that! ACTUAL COMEDY THAT IS FUNNY! CRAZY, I KNOW, BUT TRUE!

End of Watch (2012) - 7/10

A very unorthodox movie. The whole movie is kinda shot from the perspective of one of the main characters' palm held camcorder. The ending kinda sucked, but it was kinda unpredictable too, so I'll give it that much. Has a few pretty funny moments weaved into it, but I wouldn't call it a comedy though. It's not something I'd tell you was a "MUST WATCH" movie, but if you've seen everything else and want something new, it'll definitely engage your attention and be worth the hour and 45 minutes you spend watching it. All in all, it ain't anything spectacular, but it doesn't suck either.

Good Horror Movie by del Torro.
WOuld have been Better if the writers or the director came out with better near to end story. STill worth watching. Im not easily scared but there were some scenes that made me jumpy. This movie would come close to the original Ring (Ringu).

yep the director was some guy named Muschietti.. Del Torro was more or less one of the producers though his name was prominently mentioned more during the intro.

Even for a neophyte director (idk if hes prolly been mentored by del torro or whoever) the jump scenes were executed quite good. Maybe coz the director is one of the writers.

Yeah, watched that the other day. It's one of those mindless comedy movies that all follow the same script. Wasn't really all that funny. The funniest person in the movie wasn't even Kevin James, it was all Bas Rutten. Dudes funny as hell. I loved his appearances in the GTA4 video game. He also used to have a little TV show called Punk Payback on Fuel TV that was pretty funny.

Watchmen - 1/10

Finally got around to watching this one the other day. I'm not the biggest fan of superhero movies, but sometimes they can be entertaining, so I figured I'd give it a shot. I wish now that I hadn't. Not the absolute worst movie I've ever seen, but it certainly ranks among the worst movies I've ever seen at the very least. The acting isn't terrible. In fact I didn't have a problem with the actors in the movie at all. It was all 100% the story. The story is just crap. The way it begins is crap, the backstory is crap, the way the story develops is crap, and DEFINITELY the way it ends is pure unadulterated crap. Do yourself a favor and don't bother watching this pile of shit. Siskel and Focalor give it two big fat fucking thumbs the fuck down.

Skyfall 9/10

A 9 because I don't know if it's a perfect movie, but it was quite a good one. Better then good. Saw it @ the $1.75/ticket show. A bit longer then I was expecting and didn't expect it to end quite that way, but well work the price. I would of bought a $8 ticket to see it.

Guns, Girls and Gambling. 8+

It did not recieve good reviews. 4 1/2 - 10

Its ALOT of fun for what it is. I have no problem saying it could be a 10, mostly because I personally dont want to watch or have any interest in most movies that come out. One problem I have is reading the discription of a movie and making the call right then if I have any interest at all " lol, thats what it's for right, the discription" Well, I def would have ZERO interest and throw it back right away if it was a new movie and had Christian Slater in it. He may have had a cpl good roles, but not my cup of tea. Imagine my instant reluctance when we popped in this movie with out any foreknowledge of it and heared Christian Slater start to speak........ VERY GOOD THING THE FEMALE ACTRESS IS SMOKN HOT AND HAS A BODY THAT .......you guys are welcome..... stereotypical sterotypes paritys all through out, funny all the way though, when you think of paritys imo most movies are quite stupid comicly. This is well made, few mistakes, hilarious, action packed, steriotypical comdey on a level not seen before? It was a great find and a great ride. I hate re-runs and watching a movie more than once, but i thought about watching it again right after i watched it. Are you the kinda person who guesses whats going to happen next and usually is right or "see's it comming" and is right? Have fun
