I hate those very cheesy, puppy type of love story tv drama. I dont know which is more painfull - watching them or watching Jersey Shore.

Yeah. I got bored of watching Japanese dramas and the place was I watching them (d-addicts.com, if they still exist) didn't have many subs for Mainland/HK/Taiwanese shows.

Telenovela gives you something at the least (T&A), but I'd those Taiwanese variety shows are absolutely the worst. I'm glad I could never understand what they were saying 90% of the time since my Mandarin is very elementary, but damn...the way those women talk makes my eardrums want to bleed and their childish behavior disturbs me deeply.

As a long time Monty Python fan,I was interested in seeing this. And considering that it was drawn from the scant materials left by Graham,who died of throat cancer in 1989,there was considerable effort to make something in the way of a film of it. What resulted was a cornicopia of animation in a variety of artistic styles,a few being odd choices to my mind,but overall serve the film by keeping the visual pallette interesting enough to compell the viewer to keep watching the damned thing. Not much Biography was related,and most of the film seemed to be nonsesically strung together. But it did hold my intrest,and I recommend the trailer to see if one should bother watching it yourself.

The Last Stand (2013) - 9/10

Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Johnny Knoxville, Luis Guzman, Forrest Whitaker, and a few others. It's not a particularly "moving" or deeply dramatic story with genius acting. It's your regular action movie meant for guys who like to see shooting, fighting, things blowing up, car chases, etc. But it gets the job done as well as it possibly can. It's as good or better than any of Schwarzenegger's classics. Definitely worth renting if you like action movies.

The Lords of Salem (2012) - 8/10

I doubt the majority of others around here would rate this movie anywhere close to 8 out of 10, probably closer to 3 out of 10. I don't think it got terrific reviews, but as a film in the modern horror genre, I liked it. Considering what passes for a "horror" movie these days, which is basically just a bunch of slashing and killing and teenagers screaming, this is actually closer to what a TRUE horror movie should be. It's not a slasher film, it's more of a psychological horror-chiller. It was written and directed by Rob Zombie, and if you know anything about him, you know he grew up being a big fan of classic black and white horror films as well as the drive-in B rate horror movies of the 70's. The whole feel and look and style of the movie kinda reminds me of some of those old weird foreign 70's drive-in horror flicks that they show on the Epix Drive-In channel these days.

Overall, it was very very weird and quite Satanic themed since the whole story is based on the Salem witch lore. If you like the dime-a-dozen dumbed down teeny slash-n-murder movies they pass off as "horror" these days, you probably won't appreciate this movie, and I'd recommend not wasting your time and money renting it. But if you like weird Stephen King's The Shining kinda horror movies, I'd definitely recommend it.

People in Hollywood were quote "surprised" and "shocked" by his death. Really? You didn't fucking see it coming? Dudes been getting fatter and fatter and fatter since probably season 2 or 3 of The Sopranos. Last movie I saw him in was Killing Them Softly with Brad Pitt. Dude sounded so fat that he could barely breathe. I think only an idiot wouldn't have seen this coming. Fat people who breathe hard after a simple task like putting on a pair of pants... they don't last.

While I'm at it...

Killing Them Softly - 4/10

Boring movie.
