Dark Knight Rises would have been an 11/10 if Batman were to actually appear in the film more. But TDKR was still good, just not GREAT. But yeah probably a 9/10... I'd say 8/10. Still a good film. I have the bootleg

On the other hand, I saw The Amazing Spider-Man. It was terrible Spider-Man 3 was better than this new Spider-Man film They just slapped on a new cast, and added a reboot script, hoped we wouldn't notice, and ended up sucking. I wasn't surprised. But I regret paying $5 for a bootleg I think halfway through, I wanted to turn off the DVD in my DVD Player Don't watch it, you're wasting your time, money, and your life

I saw a Mickey Rourke movie a few weeks ago called The Wrestler. It was pretty good. It got me thinking about a few other Mickey Rourke movies that I wanted to see, so I went searching around on IMDB and looked through his list of past movies. One I hadn't remembered seeing or hearing about before was called Angel Heart. I was actually able to find a few people seeding it with a torrent, so I downloaded it. Pretty good movie, and it co-stars Robert DeNiro. Can't believe I've never seen any channel ever play it before. It's a mystery/suspense/horror type of film. I won't really say much more about it in case anyone else wants to see it, don't want to give anything away.  But it's definitely worth seeing, anything with Mickey Rourke is always good... except for 9 1/2 Weeks. That one sucked in my opinion.

Angel Heart (1987) - 9/10

Also downloaded another old Mickey Rourke movie from 1985 called Year of the Dragon. The acting in it... Well... Mickey Rourke is a great actor. But most everyone else in the movie can't act for shit. It's still a pretty good movie though. One of those cool noir-type films. The plot summary according to IMDB:

Using unprecedented degrees of violence, young Joey Tai becomes the head of Chinese mafia in New York and undisputed leader of the Chinese community. Stanley White (Mickey Rourke), the most decorated cop in New York, who hates Asian people since his service in Vietnam, is put in charge of Chinatown. Both men are prone to breaking long-established rules and both men are unlikely to make compromises with each other, which leads to unavoidable and bloody conflict.

I was also able to find this one with a torrent. I was kinda surprised, I didn't think anyone would be seeding it.

Bought the original Underground Comedy Movie years and years ago off of a TV 800 number ad. Dunno that I'd really recommend it though. It's not side-splitting hilarious, but it has a few funny moments. It also features appearances by Mad TV's Bobby Lee, Slash, Playboy Playmate Gina Lee Nolan taking a shit, a few others I can't remember, and of course Vince the Shamwow guy.

I was watching that old movie Dirty Harry on TV the other night. Got me thinking about other Dirty Harry movies. I dunno why, but I was thinking there were only 3 movies in the Dirty Harry series. Well, turns out there were actually FIVE all together, Dirty Harry (1971), Magnum Force (1973), The Enforcer (1976), Sudden Impact (1983), and The Dead Pool (1988). I suppose it doesn't really surprise me that any movie featuring Clint Eastwood would be successful enough to warrant 4 sequels. I mean... god damn... the man is a living legend. They all but STOPPED making western films when he got too damned old to play the lead in them because there ain't another man alive who's fucking badass and manly enough to be able to play the roles. Anyone else in a western just looks like a faggot (bundle of sticks) little sissy compared to Clint Eastwood. And yet Chuck Norris is the one who gets an entire line of internet jokes based on his manliness. Bullshit. Clint Eastwood whoops Chuck Norris's ass no matter how much karate he knows. Clint Eastwood is 82 fucking years old, and he'd beat the shit out of Chuck Norris with his colostomy bag any day of the week.

Anyway, decided to watch Magnum Force this morning. Not a spectacularly awesome movie, but I'd still say it beats the shit out of most of the garbage they put out these days. A fucking mans movie.

Speaking of Chuck Norris, I watched a couple of old Chuck classics. Yeah, I still stand by my statements that Clint is cooler and more manly than Chuck. Chuck might look manly and all that shit, but the way he speaks his lines... his voice sounds too damned nice and soft and friendly. He sounds like he should be teaching a kindergarten class, not telling people he'll kick their asses so hard they'll need to unbutton their shirt to take a shit.

My brother recommended I rent this for me and the kids, he said it got a bad rap in theatures.  It's based on a 1917 book about a Civil War cavalryman who gets transported to Mars, must rescue the princess, and fight an evil warlord.

Year, an "old" story but it's a lot of fun to watch.  It's a great action/adventure flick, one I would of paid to go see if I knew it would of been this good.  They need to do more movies like this.

So I woke up pretty early this morning, maybe 2am. I laid there in bed flipping through the guide to see what was on. I scrolled past Epix Drive-In and they were fixing to play this movie called "Dungeon Girl". The summary said it was about some teen girl that gets abducted and locked in some dudes house for years. Sounded cool to me.

Alas... I think I have found the single worst movie in the entire history of movies to ever be released to the public. Most of the movie is narrated by some stupid fucking chick trying to act all melodramatic by speaking all soft and breathy, which was so fucking annoying that it damn near drove me to jump out of bed and shove the TV off the top of the dresser and onto the floor where it would hopefully smash into a million pieces. But,... the girl in it was really hot looking, so I kept it on watching and  thinking... maybe a tit would pop out at some point. No. Not once. The advisory at the beginning of the movie said N FOR NUDITY, but of course it didn't explain that the only nudity was the hairy fugly ass of the fucking kidnapper which is shown over and over and over. And for some reason, they keep showing him OVER AND OVER AND OVER humping some little childs yarn-haired doll. And getting back to the annoying narration, the dialog making up the narration is HORRIBLE. It sounds like something a middle schooler wrote trying to sound deep and shit, only it sounds FUCKING RETARDED. The whole god damned movie is pointless, and it's supposed to come across as a horror film, yet it's as horror-free as a poorly animated saturday morning cartoon. Throughout the whole movie, the background music is the same song over and over and over again, "What Child Is This" played annoying slow and shitty on a piano or harpsichord or something, what I always thought of as a fucking Christmas carol, not music for a "horror" movie.  Yeah, over and over and over again. I keeping using that phrase... because this movie is so shitty that the idiot who had the idiot idea to make this movie was too fucking stupid and unimaginative to do anything other than show the same shit over and over in a horrible failing attempt to be creepy.

So here's my official rating of this pile of shit:

Dungeon Girl (2008) - negative infinity/10

I hope one day I meet the person who made this movie so I can punch the shit out of them. If the diaper headed jawas in the middle east were gonna riot over a movie, it should've been THIS pile of shit.

Was on the vanilla server this morning and Oltun was talking about some seriously fucked up movie he saw. I love fucked up movies, so I hopped on piratebay and snagged a copy of it.

A Serbian Film - 10/10

He wasn't shitting. It's a seriously fucked up movie. It's all in Serbian or whatever, so I had to use the accompanying .srt file for subtitles. This movie is probably in same category as something like Hostel, but it still makes Hostel look like an episode of Saved By The Bell. It was actually very well done I thought. It's very much a horror movie, although it's not one of those "make you jump" horror films, it's more like one of those "subject you to the most gruesome sights you could ever imagine" type of horror movies. I'm tempted to describe some of the more horrific shit that happens, but it's probably better if I don't in case anyone reads this and decides to check it out for themselves. Definitely worth watching if you're into the gore-horror demented shit.

Yeah tried to watch it the other night. Turned it off pretty early, just after the first "combat" scene.

I actually watched Starship Troopers 2 afterwards and found it held my attention through the whole thing. Probably due to me knowing in advance that it was going to be shitty as hell.
