Well if you're talking about seeing movies in a theater that ceased about 10 years ago. I'm all DVD now.
The other night I watched Blow Up, a film shot in England during the late 60's by director Antonioni. Its a great flick and is actually studied in film courses in university.

Pretty good film. Basically a very sad movie. Doesn't get a 9 because it didn't make me cry hysterically and there wasn't anything too too impressive in it. Usually movies that bring emotion out of its audience are the good ones... even if it's just a tear or two.

A French film, but you don't seem to notice the subtitles after awhile... It's about love, love that is unreturned... parts of it are humorous, other parts are sad. Again, I didn't cry... and I wasn't too impressed with it. Plus I'm not into fighting scenes.

I personally LOVED this film. Watching Tyler learn how to dance was the best. gangsta guy trying to learn how to dance = teh win. Plus he's hot too. The songs are amazing, especially the first and final songs in the movie. The intro is what really sets the whole film up. I didn't cry in this one either, but I went "awww *sadface*" a couple times. Definitely one of the best chick flicks ever!


I got sick in New Hampshire so we stayed at my cousins' house playing setback and watching tv. I guess it was Sean Connery night special.

My first Bond movie. Such an old film, lol. I remember in one scene, after a gun was fired, there was a bloodstain and there wasn't even a bullethole. haha but otherwise, it kept us entertained for awhile, we definitely watched over half of it... until my cousin decided to switch the channel.

Without being to belaboured --- I review movies by a system of four 1-10 scales.

Examples:

The Matrix         [8,10,9,-] one of the few must see, sure to please movies ever made

             8-movie quality ---- how well was the movie made
           10 entertainment ----how much do I think someone will like this movie
            9 my opinion---------how much I personally like it
      no special needed----indicates for a specific interest group

1) Rambo - First Blood - 7/10

7/10 because it was pretty much a crap story, with lots of violence! crap story lowers it, violence raises it!

2) Terminator 3 - Rise of the machines - 8/10

8/10 because of the previous two terminators, and the storyline behind them all, also some pretty cool effects - and the TX is hot. :]!

3) The man who sued god - 4/10

I didnt like this much, storyline was boring, only a little comedy (I think one aspect of the comedy was Billy Connelys accent, which would seem strange and funny to people outside of england ((america/canada)), but to me it's not remotely strange or funny, because i'm around the accent all the time.) and the red-head he was with = ew. Hot women can make or break a film for me.

Night at the Museum

it was entertaining, and fun to look at, but it was kinda weak in the comedy dept. and nowhere near as
fun as most other Ben Stiller/Owen Wilson movies. It was aimed at a much younger audience though.

I was sorta dissapointed by Robin Williams in this; I didn't think he was very convincing as a wax statue.
His personality is a bit to vibrant to play a fake person IMHO.

I thoroughly enjoyed the t-rex skeleton running around like a dog, and the mongols were pretty funny.

Rocky Balboa - 8/10

I always liked to Rocky movies so I'm a bit bias towards my rating. I found it to be a great movie to rap up a legacy. It was a bit sappy for my taste but in the end left me more happy then Rocky V did. I'm glad this movie was made.
