Speaking of Starship Troopers... I was browsing around and saw some new Starship Troopers movie on piratebay. I figured it would stink but would kill an hour or two of boredom. Spent probably an hour downloading it (with my previous slow as petrified turtle shit download speed of 1.5) only to find out that it was some kind of computer animated pile of shit. Didn't bother watching it at all. CLICK, DELETE.

Don't you just hate that, when you spend forever DLing something and it's not what you expected or wanted? Fucking aggravating. It's like being Rick rolled.

Kinda feel short of what i had expected. The story seems to have a lot of loopholes and inconsitencies.

Not bad if you want to have some time to kill and entertained. My only comment is about Tommy Lee who at first I though wasnt him since he gained some weight or his face got bloated. I thought that it was some dude on a mask or something.

Symbiopsychotaxiplasm (1968)

Although I fast-forwarded through parts of it, I'll give it props for attempting something weirdly meta, such that the wikipedia page describes it as, "circular meta-documentary about a documentary, a documentary about a documentary, and a documentary documenting a documentary about a documentary."

Videodrome (1983)

Weird flick, more consistently engaging and compelling than I'd expected. Toward the end it becomes increasingly difficult to tell which parts of the character's experience are being hallucinated.

Vanishing Point 1971.

I watched this movie once many years back and i rem enjoying the movie from a "slammin gears no clutch speed freak like myself.." pov. For some reason, I woke up today and thats the first thing I thought of, this movie. Anyone who has seen the movie knows the ending is very ... um.. "fill in the blank" "caution, some viewers will be disturbed, and if you are not, you prob get it" . Reviews differ greatly.
Im going to watch it again. I read the wiki and picked up on things I dont rem from the one time I watched it. Second time through I'll prob get a better understanding.

Monty Python's The Life of Brian - 8/10

Never seen this whole movie before. Sad but true. Kinda funny. I'd love to see any outtakes from the film, particularly from the "Biggus Dickus" scene.

a thriller suspense horror movie (not because guy pearce is in it) about tooth fairies. As usual its on cable.
Its worth watching I say even rent it.

The Avengers 9/10

Finally watched The Avengers ( http://www2.zmovie.tv/movies/view/the-avengers-2012 - awesome site) last night when I couldn't sleep cuz my back is gay and it was pretty awesome like everyone was telling me. The CGI effects were amazing, the fight scenes were awesome, and the sarcasm throughout the movie was hilarious haha. The Hulk made me laugh the most near the end at two points: 1. Where after him and Thor killed a bunch of enemies and were standing next to each other (they had a big fight earlier in the movie so they were still on edge with each other) and then the Hulk punched Thor and he went flying ahah. And 2. Where Loki yells at Hulk and tells him he's a god blabla, and he can't hurt him, then Hulk grabs him by the feet and slams him like 7 times off the ground and Loki is like paralyzed in the ground, and Hulk just grins and says puny God hahah.

Resident Evil: Retribution 7/10

I was a little disappointed with this one as it wasn't anywhere near as good as the 1st or 2nd ones and the hype was huge for this film. It just didn't keep mt attention much when they were just walking or talking etc. The action scenes were pretty good. Favorite part was when they were trying to get out of the place and Alice/whoever that chick was that was with her, run into not one, but two of those gigantic mofuckers with the axe/hammer thingy(too lazy to look anything up so fu).

Being that was last night was Halloween, I dug into my horror movie collection. Picked out one I hadn't seen in a long time.

The Omen (1976) - 10/10
Starring the great Gregory Peck. DEFINITELY, ABSOLUTELY... one of the best horror movies of all time. If I had to make a list of the top 10 greatest horror movies ever, The Exorcist might be #1, and The Omen would be a very very close #2.

Afterwards, I watched Damien: Omen II, and Omen III: The Final Conflict. The second film is alright. It doesn't hold a candle to the original though. And Omen III pretty much stinks, but it's still watchable I suppose.

I didn't even bother watching Omen IV: The Awakening. That one was horrible. I don't even really consider it part of the Omen series. It was some made-for-TV pile of shit. I stress the term "pile of shit", because it sucked as much as a horror movie could ever possibly hope to. Thing is... I've seen some really cheesy and shitty horror movies in my day. Most of the ones that are cheesy and bad are SUPPOSED to be that way, which makes them mildly watchable sometimes. But this one was just a piss poor script, plot, cast, acting, EVERYTHING.

I haven't seen the 2006 remake of The Omen yet. I started downloading it this morning, figured I'd watch it at some point. I doubt it'll be anything close to as good as the 1976 original, but who knows, maybe I'll be surprised and it won't completely suck.
