Haywire - 6/10
Not really a horrible movie. Gina Carino is some mighty fine eye candy, even with a black eye and blood coming from her mouth, she still looks sexy as hell. She's pretty much a crap actress though. Kinda like a spy-thriller/action flick I suppose. The story is a bit thin in places, but not too terrible. The ending was pretty abrupt and shitty in my opinion though. Almost like they only had enough money for an hour and 20 minutes of film and just said, "Okay, fuck it, lets hurry up and end this now." I guess it's worth watching if you want a decent action movie, just make sure you rent it or torrent it rather than buying the DVD. Not really something worth buying and watching repeatedly if you ask me.

The Dictator - 7/10

Wasn't quite as funny as I remember Borat being the first time I saw it, but it was still pretty good. A little short, I think it was just over 1hr and 10mins long. The story was pretty childish and simplistic, and I don't really think it was worth the ticket price. Wish I would've just downloaded a camcordered torrent of it instead, but oh well. All in all, it had some really funny parts in it, and it's definitely worth watching once.

Hatfields & McCoys - 9/10

This really isn't a "movie". It's a 3 part series done by the History Channel, but it's all a screenplay based on the real events of the Hatfield-McCoy feud, each of the 3 parts being about 1 hour and 45 minutes long (if you don't count the commercial breaks). I downloaded it though because I didn't want to have to sit through the commercials. It was actually very good. The acting wasn't terribly moving or anything, I mean come on, it has Kevin Costner in it. But the story itself more than makes up for that. And it also seems to be mostly accurate and thorough about telling the real story of the feud, while adding in a couple of Hollywood elements just to add more drama to it.

If you get a chance, I'd highly recommend watching this series. Educational and entertaining all at the same time.

The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo - ???

So I sat down and started watching this one. I got about 20 minutes into it when I felt compelled to hit the stop button and go do ANYTHING else.

Anybody else seen this one? Does it get better and should I continue watching? Or should I hang my balls out of my zipper, proceed to whack the shit out of them with a dirty fly swatter, and consider myself lucky that I didn't submit myself to the even worse torture of watching such a boring movie?

The Pact

Literally the worst film I've seen all year. I went to see it with a girl who is quite into her horror flicks and I, of course, being a real macho fella took no time in alerting her to the notion that I do in fact, despise horror films and much prefer a heartwarming romantic comedy. However, I went.

Biggest waste of £8.10 ever. Seriously, I can't even begin to list the reasons I thought this sucked. The biggest is that in fact, I only jumped twice, but it was so predictable I was ready for it both times and ended up just grinning rather than actually being scared. Story was piss-poor, climax was very weak, scary moments are minimal (some even comical). Would not watch again if you paid me/10.

Save your money and pirate it if you must see it, seriously.

lol, I've watched all 3 of these the past week and you hit em on the money with the ratings.....Red was just amazing, John Malkovich is a god....Hatfields and McCoys was pretty awesome....glad there is finally an upgraded docudrama? out there of this legend....my family comes from Kentucky, so I heard all about this growing up haha....Dragon Tattoo was so incredibly, I don't know? I stopped watching it like 20 mins through....so bad.

I watched the Swedish version, which I'm gonna assume is better.

Thanks for reminding me though...gotta finish watching the rest of the trilogy.

I think i saw a dvd somewhere at my friends place but didnt bother to watched it coz from the title itself. makes you think that its a C rated cheap ass comedy flick
