i just watched 'Bad Santa' with Billy Bob Thorton, that movie was funny as hell...i recommend for a few laughs

I hate to admit it, but I was dragged to this movie. It was horrible. I kept looking at my watch over and over, thinking that time stopped and I was stuck in that theater forever.

Both my aunt and my mother are even fans of the books. They're both in their 50's. I haven't cracked one of the books once out of slight curiosity... the fact that they LIKE that crap tells me all I need to know about it. I would assume it to be just as horribly boring as a modern day Dark Shadows rip-off could ever be.

My wife's into the series and saw the movie last night. From what I've been told it's a rather clean series targeted at young girls. I thought that the idea was dumb at first, but having daughters myself, I'm 100% supportive of any clean kids books. If it's not, please don't ruin my blissful ignorance.

I recently watched Casino Royale since I hadn't seen it and Quantum of Solace was coming out.. Casino Royale I'd give 8/10, this guy is a much better Bond than Pierce Brosnan imo. I haven't seen Quantum of Solace yet but all I keep hearing is that it was straight action and didn't have a plot worth bragging about. What did you guys think?

A pretty controversial film for it's graphic sex scenes. I couldn't tell if it was an intellectual movie with porn scenes or a porn movie with intellectual scenes. Either way, it sucked.
