1947 according to wiki, but nobody living remembers that. (If they are still living, they have dementia and don't remember it.) I was thinking they were a relatively new team, but apparently they've ALWAYS been around. I don't remember seeing them or hearing about them as a kid. Probably because they weren't that good. I had Chargers and Raiders and Broncos and Falcons shirts as a kid, plenty of other kids had plenty of other NFL team jackets and shirts and hats and notebooks... but I don't remember ANYONE I knew having anything Arizona Cardinals.

Yeah, can't believe I didn't mention that one. Jim Brown and 1964 Browns, NFL pre-merger. Wiki has picture of the ticket from the game.



10 dollar seat price. 10 bucks in 1964 would probably be about 80 or 90 bucks today I think. Superbowl tix these days probably START at about 600 a seat.

I was wondering what something like that as a collectors item might cost. I see one on ebay right now for 90 bucks, which seems kinda low. But it's got an autograph on it. Leroy Kelly, backup runningback to Jim Brown. If it were Jim Browns sig on it, it'd probably be worth a lot more. Leroy Kelly is kinda unknown though, and maybe collector would prefer a clean one.

Yeah it'd be nice if Tennessee or Houston finally wins. It'll be nice in general having something different though. Really any combination is fine with me, except maybe Seattle not in the mix.

We have a decision to make. Do next weekends picks count as 3 and 4 points, or do they count as 1 and 2 points, or some other suggestion maybe?

I wanna say 1 and 2 points, but then that means that the wild card and divisional games for 3 and 4 points were more valuable, and that seems kinda wrong.

That sounds like the better plan. So if we proceed like we've been doing, then the conference championship round picks would be worth 2 and 4 points, and the superbowl pick would be worth 4 points.

OR.

We could go by this 4, 8, 12, 16 thing and I could refigure the scores accordingly.

I'm gonna start believing and pick Tennessee this week. Some years (maybe or twice per decade) there's that one underdog team that nobody counted on to be there, and they just won't go away, they refuse to lose, they have the magic mojo. Maybe this the Titans magic season. ...or maybe it ends miserably on Sunday, because they are playing the Chiefs after all. Which is why I gave them 2pts and not 4.

Green Bay won ugly last week. I don't have faith that they can do it again. So 4pts for San Fran.
