I mean read all of that. Ignore any right leaning tidbits, just focus on what they tacked on to this bill. Considering the state of our nation that is ridiculous and NOT wanting a compromise. It's very disappointing.

You might think it's a really dumb move for New England, but I think it's a dumber move for Tampa. The guy is CONSTANTLY out with injuries. You hire someone and throw a bunch of money at them... and they play two games? Not a wise investment.

I'd almost expect the Falcons to do something like try to hire Tom Brady. And even if he were successful, I'd still be LIVID and would never forgive them for it. It's like... if they tried to hire John Elway as a coach (he defeated the Falcons in the Superbowl in '98)... or if the Ku Klux Klan revised their policy to allow Mexicans to join.

He has been gone for 3 years, I wonder how well he can play. He is 32 years old, but his body did not take the beating for the last 3 years.
Harvin was a game changing player when he was (younger) and healthy. It will be interesting how this works out.

Halfway interesting to see. Tied in 2nd is the "oldest rivalry in the deep South" and "the oldest rivalry in the South". Georgia-auburn, a far more high profile matchup than NC-Virginia, I think was claiming the oldest rivalry in the South but had to adjust the name a tad because I guess NC VA beats them by a hair technically(probably, I dunno). I won't bother looking it up, but I believe NC was the first public college in the United States.

It is cool to see both NC and Virginia both doing well though and with good coaches. Or well, VIRGINIA did well with a 9-3 season last year, relative to the norm for them. UNC everyone just THINKS will do well for the next 2-3 years but that's yet to be seen.

I was debating that too. I settled on it referring to Georgia tending to settle for FG's. I've seen it in a couple games last year, but nothing terrible. Looks like a gator fan made that haha. Mainly I was just bumping the thread.

This is the current SP+ forecast of teams favored by double digits against the average FBS value:

I hope Miami, FSU, and VA tech can put something together. Weird that Louisville isn't on there, and Virginia to a degree. Apparently louisville is supposed to be the 3rd best acc team following NC next season...according to just about every analyst/writer. I have no idea why, but I just keep seeing it.

I'm probably looking forward to this season more so than normal. Not just to see what NC can muster up when they're sitting in the best situation they've been in a LONG time, but for some entertainment amongst all this quarantine bullshit. I couldn't help but glance at tickets even though I don't plan on buying any. It would be nice if shit drastically improves and there's been major progress in treatments, though.

It's cool to see UNC getting some outside attention though. I saw people projecting that they'd meat Clemson in the ACC championship game undefeated even. People never say crap like that, lol. That would be nuts if that happened.

Georgia snags another QB transfer. Maybe they discovered what I already thought: Newman is good, but he was the 3rd or 4th best QB in the ACC throwing to the best receiver in the country most snaps lol. Georgia got another option.

They'll probably both suck. But at least Kirby Smart is TRYING to get a QB, and realizes (unlike Mark Richt never did) that you can't just make do with who you got if you're gonna seriously pursue a national title.

I don't know how Fromm got drafted. He isn't that good. Not better than Murray or Stafford were. Murray still holds the SEC record for TD's over the likes of Peyton Manning and Matt Stafford. And when Murray drafted in the 5th rd, he got traded before the season started and was doomed to be a practice squad qb, where he stayed with a few different teams until he couldn't get a job anywhere anymore. After that he signed on with a small time independent indoor football league which folded after one season. Then he went to Vince McMahon's re-started XFL... which went tits up after they had to shut down due to the covid19 outbreak. Now he's unemployed.

They're both B- quarterbacks(if I were to grade them), but it's smart to have them compete against each other. It may bring out the best in both and if one can get into the B+ to A- range then mission accomplished.

Yeah Fromm ended up not living up to the hype. Georgia has the weapons, and Fromm is actually a very talented kid and had his moments, he just couldn't deliver consistently under clutch moments. He'd have one fantastic drive, then plenty of unsuccessful ones. Didn't see him gain and keep momentum between drives much.
