Didn't Aaron Rodgers little brother or younger cousin play QB for Vandy not long ago? Whatever happened to that guy? I remember the year before he got there back when Aaron Murray was QB at Georgia, Georgia played them for the yearly "homecoming" game and they stomped them like 60 to nothing. Next year (when the Rodgers guy came on), it was a different story, they actually challenged Georgia in a pretty good game that was fairly close.

edit: Per wiki, His name was Jordan Rodgers, younger bro of Aaron Rodgers. According to wiki, the homecoming shutout vs vandy was 2010, and the 2011 vs vandy was close, but not sure if Rodgers was the starting QB that day. He most likely was the starting QB the following year in 2012 when he started 11 games and helped WR Jordan Matthews get the SEC record for rec yds. Odd... how do you get the most career receving yds and not come close to winning even a division title? That's how shit their luck is, I guess.

edit numero dos: Apparently he won one of the seasons of The Bachelorette... So apparently he has no ethical or personal opposition to marrying someone as a career move...

And he has a reality investment house flipping show with his bachelorette fiance, who he's been engaged to since 2016... SHIT OR GET OFF THE POT?... and it's on CNBC,... where I'll never fucking see it, just like the fucking Bachelorette, thus my ignorance of what this assholes done since college.

And I guess he's also a commentator for the show SEC Now on espn's SEC Network. Never seen him on there.

The ACC made an announcement today. Notre Dame officially joined and have a chance to compete in the championship game. Also, they play NC at Chapel Hill.

They agreed to allow each ACC team keep 1 out of conference game. Which means either Auburn or UCF has to go. I can only assume it's Auburn due to the revenue that matchup will generate in Atlanta. So Auburn and ND on the schedule could be worse, although that more-than-likely matchup with Clemson in the conference championship game just got a little less likely with ND in the mix.

That being said I'm calling it now: NC wins both of those games

NC no longer plays coastal division competitor Pitt...or Georgia Tech. That's odd, and this is why:

So, overall I think UNC's schedule change is this:

+ Wake Forest
+ Syracuse
+ Notre Dame
+ Florida state

-Pitt
-Georgia Tech
-James Madison
-Connecticut
-UCF

While holding onto Auburn(likely), Miami, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Duke, NC State, boston college. Losing Pitt and UCF kinda sucks, but it made it a harder SoS so I guess it's a good thing overall. It's nice to have 2 chances to play against top 15 teams.

Man. It looks like the SEC is going conference only. The ACC formed their plan with 2 main priorities seemingly 1) allowing 1 non-conference so Miami, Florida State, Louisville, Georgia tech, and Clemson could play their SEC rivals(which also would enable Georgia/Virginia and NC/Auburn) and 2) catering to Notre Dame. But sources say the SEC is going 10 game conference only. Should know for sure soon.

Hopefully NC can still play UCF, or schedule someone new. I have a feeling they're going to waste their non-conference game on JMU or UConn, though.

Multiple sources now confirm this situation:

The ACC, SEC, and big 12 want to play. The big 10 and PAC want to cancel.

One source said the big 12 is "on the fence" and the sec is having talks with Texas and Oklahoma about joining the SEC for a season.

Just announced officially, big 10 is out. Yankee poohsays.

Not really, I don't blame them. Although perhaps their is a point in the kids being "safer" in a way while being a part of the football program. The school's are implementing absurdly strict protocols and football and practice occupy so much of their lives. I don't know, they're young and you'd think more likely not to adhere to these strict protocols with no football to play. Just play in an empty stadium.
It's feasible, but accountability and money are a bitch.
