Couldn't open that. It said I didn't have Microsoft Office, so I tried with Firefox, still wouldn't open.

I didn't really do research on the teams current years schedules for yesterdays games. I also didn't get to watch either one of the games. I kinda knew Miami hadn't been doing so great when Mark Richt went there after leaving UGA. Hadn't paid any attention to them this year, but I figured if they were in a bowl game at all, they probably at least had a 6-6 record. I figured either one could win, but from what I've briefly read online about the game, Miami fell flat on their face and couldn't do anything right.

Didn't really research todays picks either. Only picking Air Farce because, like I mentioned the other day, they beat Hawaii by 30. If that had never been known to me, I would've picked Washington State instead... and watch, that's probably who'll win.

I pdf'd it so you can view it, just go to page 3. On excel it's all in 1 sheet though.

We assigned point values 1-29 for the 29 remaining bowl games, and the person with the biggest point total at the end wins. UNC and Pitt I put a lot of confidence in. I was right about NC at least haha.

As for this michigan state game I still have the same opinion. Wake Forest is overrated and missing Sage Surrat, one of the top 3 WR's in the nation maybe. Without surratt wake would've had 3-4 more losses on their schedule. So they match wake and michigan state together(michigan state isn't too hot this year) just so they can say "Look, even michigan state can beat one of the best teams in the ACC! The big 10 is super good and the ACC sucks!!"

Right at kick-off the announcers were even saying that Wake is undoubtedly the 2nd best team in the ACC. Lmao.... If I sound biased as shit feel free to call me out, but this is just all too predictable. Fuck the money the big 10 makes.

I'm interested to see Memphis v. Penn State being that Temple gave Memphis their only loss.

Haven't paid close attention to the games today, been busy with other stuff around the house. Watched a little piece of the UNC game. They were up 41 to 7 or at the time something like that.

Sucks for Wake Forest though. They've been so forgettable for so long and considered an easy win for most teams. Would've been nice to see them get a bowl trophy for once, especially in a year when they did so well.

Should I consider that PDF your picks list if you don't post on time?

Yeah, I think I like the confidence points thing better than the tokens idea. I think there's only 4 games per round, right? So if we do a 1, 2, 3, 4 points thing on the 4 games per week, that'll possibly keep the results tighter and more competitive... even though it probably won't be. NFL is gonna be hard to pick this year. Flipping a coin might get you farther than thinking too hard about it. One or two teams are doing consistently well, and the others are anything but consistent and predictable.

I got Penn State, Clemson, LSU, and Notre Dame I guess. Part of me wants to pick Oklahoma and Iowa State, especially ISU, but I'll probably stick with that.

Nah. I mean anything is possible, but like I said the other day, after seeing the numbers that Clemson has been putting up week after week consistently, beating all their opponents by about 40 pts, I think Clemson is gonna beat them by probably 21 or more. In my opinion, Ohio State's QB is not as good as their record this year suggests.

Thinking you can't win at this point is no reason not to join in though. There's no prize. The winner doesn't matter. To me, the fun part is that I'm so unfamiliar with all the teams this year so I have to research them by viewing their schedules, final scores, then sometimes checking the schedules and scores of individual opponents they've played against to kinda weigh the value of individual games, and then using all that information to guess who will be the stronger team. And so far, my guesses have been pretty good, as I've guessed right considerably more than I've guessed wrong. So I'll add your name and picks to the next scoreboard anyway. If you wanna keep making picks, fine, if not, that's fine too, no biggie.

Penn state v. Memphis is kinda going how I expected, and what I've seen so far. (I watched Pitt lose to Penn state by 1 TD, watched OSU v. PSU). I haven't watched memphis much, but I saw they lost to temple who got smoked by NC and beat Cincinatti twice. But these people, media, announcers, etc. that say shit like "Cinci would go undefeated in the ACC only losing a close one to clemson"......GTFOH!!! I hope their matchup of Boston College v. Cinci backfires on them and BC wins lol. Michigan State v. Wake was so lame. Announcers are still bashing the ACC over it. Sage Surratt was 1st in the nation in receiving yards AND TD's at the time of his injury. HE'S A BEAST, I'm familiar with him because his twin brother is NC's best defensive player and first team all ACC(chaz surratt). Saying he was crucial for wake is an understatement. Wake beat NC by 6 pts, but it took some luck(2 fumble recovery -> TD's accounted for the majority of their points). NC outplayed them in nearly every stat, and had a chance to win at the end but it ended controversially with the refs letting time expire. the ACC apologized and said it was wrong etc etc. But Wake lost to Syracuse, VA Tech, and Louisville. So they give them one of the ACC's remaining tier 1 spots, and now every queer is talking about how the ACC blows because they beat "the 2nd best team in the ACC".

I know I sound like a broken record but these stupid announcers keep talking about it. The only conference that has the balls to play the ACC is the SEC. Everyone else just makes comments from the peanut gallery, and if they're from the big 10 their team plays NO ONE out of conference. Michigan, Purdue, and penn state half-way did their part though. Their 3 out of conference opponents were respectable. I really, really hope BC's run game too much for cincinatti because that's all they have.

I was kinda impressed by Memphis. They have good sized players with some talent. It was a good close game up until the 4th when Penn State broke through with that long 50-ish yd run. From then on, Penn State continued to play well, and Memphis couldn't sustain drives.

Didn't even watch the Notre Dame game. I checked the score online around 2pm and they were ahead by a lot, so it didn't seem like it'd be interesting to watch.
