It has been fun, but I no longer have any reason to continue with this thread, or any other thread.

Since personal experiences prove nothing, any and all things we might discuss fall into the category of nothing. Why? Everything we discuss is based on our personal experience, what we've read, heard, learned in some form or fashion.

This also means all the science in the world means nothing. Why? Because every experiment, every theorem, every idea is embedded with the personal experience of scientists who then pass that on to us - however, since personal experiences prove nothing, all the stuff science has so called proven is invalid because it is based on the personal experience of the scientist who has communicated their personal experiences (learning, etc)

Well I wasn't going to respond to my own question, and i was looking forward from a response from you in particular. You are the person who provoked me as seen below.

but how far does that so-called "free-will" extend?
can we decide as a species that we don't want god around anymore?
will he abide by our decision because he gave us the choice to do what we please?

Of course. Haven't you noticed, we've already done a great deal of that. We told God we didn't want him messing around our schools anymore, so he stepped aside. "Hmmm, gee wiz Wally, why does Timmy have that AK47 and a strange look in his eye ???"
Oh, and while we we're at it, we also told God to get his nose out of our goverments business. We do have seperation of church and state ya know. So he stepped aside there to, and took his vail of protection with him. "Look, it's a Bird, it's a PLane, no it's Super Osama !!!!"
Seperation of church and state was meant to keep goverment from being run by a church and churches from being run by the goverment. But hell, we've made sure to take it to such extremes you can't even be caught with a small nativity scene on a court house square without 30 lashes.

Due to the typos and content, I will refrain from producing a well thought out response. I have a question though, if shoving god away from us was the cause for all these problems, why is it that the highly secular Scandinavian countries are among the most generous in terms of helping the developing world, as well as enjoying higher standards of living themselves by almost any index?

This is the same type of question as "Why are there so many hypocrites in Church?"
Well first of all, I really believe that non-believers can truelly give from there hearts. I never said you "have" to believe in God to be a good hearted person.
BUT, If Satan can make non-believers look like Saints, and that help prove to you that God doesn't exist, then he's done his job well.
Also, if he can make a christian look like a complete ass in front of everybody, and that help prove to you that God doesn't exist, there again, he's done his job well.
After all, the Anti-Christ does come to power by bringing peace to the world.

God doesn't bless these kids with cancer, we do. Through our free will to engage in pollution, food additives, tobacco use, drug use, alchahol abuse, and many many other varibles. All these things lead to bad things for the living, AND OR screw up our DNA to insure our kids get it when, and in some cases, before they're born.
Most innocent people are continually suffering in ways in which their free will was defanitly a factor.
Although some suffer for the betterment of others.
Example: Kid born blind though an act of God, grows up, learns to deal with it, teaches others people blinded by acts of man how to cope and deal with it. Enstead of cursing God for his aflection, he thanks God for choosing him or her to help other.

I would like the evidence of your claims that all these factors literally cause birth defects.

I thought God was all-powerful.  If so, God could prevent Satan from doing any mischief at all.  Therefore, blame God for allowing it.

People doesn't seem to realize that Satan does EVERYTHING in his power to make as many people as he can turn from God and that includes striking children with horrible afflictions.

Bogus.  Your God would sit by and allow some evil demon to strike children with horrible afflictions?

Why even bother worshipping a God like that?

Science is BS plain and simple. I know this when I step outside. Global Warming my ass. Lets take some attention whoring Scientist and let him stand outside here in Prince Edward Island, where we have been in the coldest deep freeze in my memory. We will then see if he can still claim it while looking at me straight in the eye. He will still try to claim it though, then say it is proof that global warming is taking place because it is colder.

I am now totally convinced, that Dinosaur Fossils are just fancy rock formations, God hates us and Scientists need a bitch slap.

You've already said you're sure God takes an active role in creating the universe, and creating species, etc.

If God is so actively involved, why are innocent people continually suffering in ways in which their free will was not a factor?

i just stated that he is NOT actively involved. my sole belief is that there was an outside entity facilitating the creation of the universe and what may lie beyond.. but you can have fun misinterpreting my posts in the meantime, i dont mind. lol and also, diseases and natural disasters are not evil. you guys are seriously lost.

uhh.. the thought of any being being "all-knowing" is merely a concept, as are omnipotence and infinity. no such thing can exist in our tangible realm, especially for someone that believes that we have free will, lol.
