New England's Brady irritates me with how cocky he is.
I want to see him get hit so hard he does this -

Yeah, but... he kinda afford to be that way. People wanna swing from Peyton Manning's nuts all the time talking about what a legendary QB he is, how he's such a chess master on the field, how he can read a defense like he's psychic, etc. But... Manning's got only ONE Superbowl ring. How many Superbowl rings does Tom Brady have? Shit, I don't think even Tom Brady knows how many Superbowl rings Tom Brady has because he has so many that he's lost fucking count. :D

Love him or hate him, you don't win that many Superbowls (2002, 2004, 2005, 2015, he has 4 rings, btw) if you're not an exceptionally talented NFL quarterback.

And the Falcons are now 5 and 0. :WTF:

This is bullshit. I know they suck. Why won't they lose like they're supposed to? It's pretty crazy that I've been a super fan for so long and now all I do is bitch about the fact that they're winning and doing well for once. But it kinda pisses me off. Where were these scoring drives and wins when Mike Smith was still the coach last year and his job was sitting up on the chopping block? And I'm gonna be even MORE pissed if these fucking assholes actually make the playoffs and (god forbid) win a Superbowl this year since I've spent the year shitting on them and hoping they fail instead of being a fan and enjoying this success like I normally would.

Florida Gator QB Will Grier suspended for 1 year for PED violation  :frustration:

http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/13871336/will-grier-florida-gators-quarterback-suspended-season

The one year suspension puts him out until the 7th game next year.  The story says

"The positive test was the result of something the quarterback took over the counter that he did not get approved by Florida trainers, Grier said Monday in a news conference. The school plans to appeal the suspension."

I'm sure there is a lot more to the story that has not came out yet, but if you can get a 1 year suspension for something you can purchase over the counter that is  :raincloud:  You took 5 hour energy before the game, you are out for a year  :raincloud:
What Grier did is probably a lot worse than what I am saying, but it still sucks to lose Grier, his backup Harris is a big step down IMO.

Well on the bright side at least they are already bowl eligible with 6 wins, just in case they don't win another game this year.  :lolsign:

Steve Spurrier announced his resignation as coach of the Gamecocks on Tuesday.

http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/13879057/steve-spurrier-south-carolina-gamecocks-announces-resignation

I know SC is really bad this year, but I found it odd that he did this mid season.

This is a pretty good saturday for college football.

I think these games will be pretty close:

VA Tech v. Miami
Michigan v. Michigan State
Alabama v. Texas A&M
Florida v. LSU
Iowa v. Northwestern
Ohio State v. Penn State

Some others I'm interested in:

Florida State v. Louisville
GA Tech v. Pittsburgh
Baylor v. West Virginia
Ole Miss v. Memphis

Then you also have

LA Tech v. Miss State
Oklahoma v. Kansas State
Nebraska v. Minnesota
South Carolina v. Vanderbilt
TCU v. Iowa State
Notre Dame v. USC
Georgia v. Mizzou
Utah v. Arizona State
Oregon v. Washington

UNC plays wake after a BYE week and then virginia next. Wake is coming off a win v. Boston college, although the final score was 3-0 lol. I should be an easy game for NC, same with Virginia. Right now the AP has unc at about 36th if I remember right, so if they beat these two teams convincingly I may see a ranked UNC team for the first time in a loooooooooong time(excluding undeserving preseason ranking hype).

http://www.wralsportsfan.com/unc-s-stewart-hughes-indefinitely-suspended/14972774/

This is the FIRST year I've been somewhat satisfied with UNC's corners, then two kicked off the team, one of which leads our team in interceptions.

It's kind of stupid this is even big news. I knocked out a frat boy in chapel hill, I think we all have at some point or another. But, they are held to a certain standard and with unc being in the spot light from all the ncaa allegations and sanctions it's actually expected. These two are just as dumb as the frat boys that were probably talking shit and started this.

Poor Georgia Tech man, lol. When are they gonna catch a break... And damn foc, I didn't watch the mizzou georgia game but I certainly didn't expect that score.

LSU Florida was really close. And I can't BELIEVE that fumble by michigan's punter. Wow.

UNC appears to be doing next best in the ACC after clemson. I chose the word 'appears' for a reason ;) Whipping wake forest harder than anyone else did(more than twice as bad as fsu) only tells you so much...but, the same can be said about all of nc's wins aside from ga tech. Illinois beat Nebraska and almost beat undefeated Iowa, but got spanked by nc 48-14.

As for Ohio state, I'm just waiting for them to be subjected to the same scrutiny as Florida state was last year as reigning champs. Ohio state appears to be doing worse against worse opponents. But, maybe the play-off committee doesn't suck off Ohio state, notre dame, Alabama, Texas, usc, etc. like the AP does. I would hope not, but we'll see. And I guess I'll throw this out there: not that it's an accomplishment I'm legitimately surprised osu beat penn by a decent margin.

I know SC is really bad this year, but I found it odd that he did this mid season.

Didn't surprise me at all. South Carolina expects a certain amount of success and when they don't get it, they start threatening the coaches job. Same shit UGA does, same shit Florida does. Only Spurrier ain't as calm and level-headed as other SEC coaches. I imagine they informed him which games he needed to win, he realized the expectation was too much to attain, and he pre-emptively quit in a fit of rage over such a retarded demand. I can't blame him.

Think about guys like Joe Paterno. Surely Penn State had a few shitty seasons during his 9000 season tenure as head coach. But no one was gonna fire him for it. Shit just ain't the same anymore. Schools demand winning seasons, and if the guy coaching can't immediately squat and shit them upon request, they fire them no matter how long they've been there.

It's funny because sc already has two wins against teams probably better than they are.

If anything could cheer up a Georgia fan after such a horrible performance though... hey, at least we're not South Carolina. Sheeeeeeeeeeesh. I gotta imagine it ain't too good to be Steve Spurrier right now. If the Cocks keep getting pounded (see what I did there?) like they've been doing, Spurrier could possibly find himself without a job. And as much as I don't like Steve Spurrier and want to see him get fired, I don't wanna see South Carolina get someone better. They deserve a shithead like Spurrier. :D

It's like I'm psychic. Not really. Like I said, this is just how shit goes with SEC schools especially. And especially especially at schools like South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida in the SEC East. Those 3 seem to NEVER want records of .500 or less, and if they dance too close to that number for too long, the athletics departments start waving their "you're fired" guns in peoples faces threatening to pull the trigger. And it's worse certain years when those athletics departments are shown data stating that the players they've acquired should be able to beat certain teams and contend for SEC titles. They did it to Mark Richt at UGA several years back when Aaron Murray had just started his career as the starting QB. They expected UGA to contend for the SEC Championship, and when they lost only like... TWO in a row, the school fucking panicked like a total motherfucker and started threatening to fire head coach Mark Richt.

And the man catches shit for how "passion-less" he looks on the sidelines most of the time, but that's one of the reasons I actually LIKE him so much. He acts like a professional and a gentleman. Whereas other schools have (or had) coaches like Steve Spurrier who'll pitch royal running shit fits on the sidelines in full view of god and everyone, and will also occasionally shit talk their players and make themselves look like consummate assholes during press conferences.

I am beginning to think that it is a curse to be a top running back at UGA.  UGA has had this happen to their top backs for the last 3 years maybe more.  I hate to see Chubb go down, Michel is a good back and will probably put up good numbers also.  I am worried that UGA curse will take out Michel also and good ole number 27 will be the running back again.  I hope #27 is a scholarship player, because he has had to bail UGA out a few times because of injuries.

You might have something there. Todd Gurley or Keith Marshall, either one, could've probably eclipsed a few school records held by Hershel Walker. But both of them went down with injuries in the same season when Gurley was well on his way to doing so. And then when Gurley was finally healed up and started showing off his uncanny superhuman ability to stiff-arm the fuck out of more than one defender EVERY RUN, he gets pinched by the NCAA for selling signatures and gets suspended. Then when he comes back... injured again. Chubb started steamrolling people and had about 13 consecutive 100yds rushing games to his credit (to tie Hershel Walker), and then on the 1st play of the potential record breaking 14th game, he pretzels the fuck out of his left knee.

Sony Michel is a good runningback, he's fast enough to probably outrun a fucking deer, but he's not beefy enough to knock people over like a bowling ball like Nick Chubb. And yeah, I think Chubb and Michel are both on scholarships. They've still got Keith Marshall suiting up every game, but he's still not 100% and never will be again, which is why they rarely play him anymore. I guess they don't want it on their conscience if he gets hurt again and becomes a cripple for life. Michel is more of a "blaze through the hole" kinda runner, not a "knock the shit outta people and MAKE a hole" kinda runner like Chubb. He'll probably average positive yards every play, but not enough on a consistent basis to keep getting 1st downs and sustain drives... which is why the Georgia Missouri game was soooooo fucking boring. Kinda pisses me off. Even without Chubb, the team is still in great shape to take on ANYONE in the NCAA and win. But they've lost to both Alabama and Tennessee now. Why? Because their quarterbacks fucking SUUUUUUUCK so bad. It might've "seemed" like Georgia didn't know who the starting QB was gonna be at the beginning of the season, but... not really. Everyone else was already there. They brought in this Greyson Lambert guy from fucking Virginia. You don't accept another schools starting QB unless you're more than likely gonna start him. And he played for VIRGINIA FOR FUCKS SAKE. Virginia sucked! Virginia sucked because Greyson Lambert sucked! I have no idea why the fuck they thought they could bring this dickhead on and the fact that he sucks would magically change under new coaching. Shittier coaching too, might I add. The old OC at Georgia, Mike Bobo, used to also the be the QB coach in addition to OC duties. He's the reason why Matt Stafford and Aaron Murray were so good. They should've paid him whatever the fuck it took to keep him from leaving. But they didn't. And now they can't find a decent QB for shit. ::)

Hahaha @ ga tech v fsu. Ga tech is a decent team, they've just had a really tough schedule. NC v Pitt Thursday will most likely decide the ACC coastal division. Clemson gave Miami their biggest beat down in school history. They will probably be 3rd in the AP, and Al golden will probably be fired unless he beats nc, Pitt, and duke. At least 2 of those haha. Duke beat va tech in 4OT, Arkansas beat auburn in 4OT. USC beat undefeated Utah. Pitt squeaked by Syracuse just like they did against ga tech and other opponents. NC should win, I just hope they don't fuck around and get a bunch of penalties like they did against Virginia.

I didn't see the FSU @ Georgia Tech game. I was "considering" tuning in, but I thought, "Nah, that ain't gonna be worth watching. FSU's just gonna pound them and win by 3 TD's or more."

And fuck me, that was probably the single biggest HOLY SHIT moment you'll see in NCAA football all year. :D

Didn't watch ANY games this Saturday actually. Georgia was on a bye, and GT was playing FSU, what I thought would be a sure-fire butt stomping.

I don't hold out much hope of Georgia putting up any kind of a fight against Florida next Saturday. But holy fucking shit I HOOOOOOOOOOOPE they win. They NEEEEEEEEEED to win. Not because I give a shit about them winning the SEC East (which they still could, but I don't really care that much), and definitely not because I give a shit about them going to the SEC Championship game or even winning it (because they definitely won't). But because they've got one of the best high school QB's in the entire country on the hook right now, and I don't wanna see them lose him.

Nice to see your insightful and very funny analysis again, Focalor.

I don't know what to make of Ole Miss or the Saints this year. Up and down and headed nowhere, I guess.

I don't worship the devil. Jesus is Lord, friend. He died for your sins. He will forgive you if you just ask.
