I hate to sound selfish, but I was hoping Florida would benefit from the LSU & UGA situations.  LSU kept Les Miles so the rumor of Jimbo Fisher leaving FSU did not happen (I was hoping to get some FSU recruits also) 
Florida needs all the help they can get, especially on offense.  Florida just had the #3 ranked QB commit a couple days ago.  The Georgia guy is the #2 ranked QB.  I doubt Florida could get both of those guys to sign, unless there ego tells each one that they will win the job.
You can never have enough talent, especially at the QB spot.  Nothing is official until they sign in Feb. next year.

Haunted, I hate to pull against your Tar Heels, but I don't think the playoff committee will put them in the playoffs even if they beat Clemson.
UNC has not got any respect from the committee so far, so I don't see them getting it in the final poll either.
If UNC beats Clemson, I think the committee will move Ohio St into the playoffs.
Ohio St. is at #6 and UNC is at #10.
#4 Iowa plays #5 Mich St. this week so I see Ohio St moving up to #5 no matter what else happens.

Here is how I think it will play out.

Oklahoma won the Big 12 and is in the playoff.
The winner of Iowa/Mich St. will be the Big 10 champ and will be in the playoff.
Alabama will beat Florida and be the SEC champ and is in the playoff.
If Clemson wins against UNC, Clemson will be the ACC champ and be in the playoff. If UNC beats Clemson they will be the ACC champ, but Ohio St. is in the playoff.  A conference champ should be selected over a team that did not win their conference, but the committee loves Ohio St almost as much as they do Notre Dame. 

If UNC is going to get screwed even if they win, I would rather see them lose. (keeping Ohio St. out of the playoff)
Last year a 1 loss Big 12 champion was left out the the playoffs, I think that could happen to the ACC if UNC beats Clemson.

It's hilarious because stat-wise unc and Ohio state are identical(wins against top 40 opponents, power 5 opponents, passing yards per game and allowed, rushing yards per game and allowed, points per game, points allowed etc). You can guess which unc leads, but FYI unc leads power 5 opponents by 1 and Ohio state leads top 40 opponents by 1. Which is stupid anyway, this strength of schedule shit is BULL SHIT. It should be strength of record. UNC's strength of schedule is 66th but their strength of record is 11th. Stanford is 12th, I didn't see Ohio state but I'd bet it's worse. Rewarding the teams they like for losing against the teams they like is the stupidest thing ever. A win over #1 Clemson SHOULD put them over those teams, but I agree with you sarge. Shit, I'd rather unc win then them still give the playoff spot to Clemson and put unc at #5 than Ohio state. That would actually be more sensible than letting osu in. How and the FUCK can they let osu in with a loss against much state(ranked 15th at the time) with their only decent win being against Michigan over Clemson with wins over fsu, notre dame, etc and a loss to #10 nc???? The committee is a fucking joke.

Hey, if he turns out to be another complete face-first flop into a pile of cow shit like QB Brice Ramsey was (and I anticipate he probably WILL be horrible at college level football if Mark Richt was swinging from his nuts like Tarzan), then it's no fucking loss whatsoever. For fucks sake, UGA's got Brice Ramsey handling fucking KICKOFFS now.

That conversation probably went something like... "Yeah, Brice, we know you wanna throw a football, but you suck at it, so just kick the living shit out of it instead. That'll benefit Miami and the coastal division. Miami beat duke, Pittsburgh, Virginia tech, Georgia tech, and Virginia without a decent coach. They lost extremely close away games to fsu and cinci, beat Nebraska as well, and only got dominated by unc and Clemson. They actually had an ok season, and they'll get way better and profit more from richt.

Random but, it's a breath of fresh air to me to see and hear UNC's marquise Williams on camera RELATIVE to others. The "leaders" of the teams in contention for the playoff have been frequently interviewed as of late... I'm sure y'all have seen.

If you didn't watch UNC Clemson last night, I'd Google unc Clemson offside to see an overwhelming amount of results regarding how they were screwed at the end. Yeah, it's still a what-if but unc is THE team that moves the ball that quickly when they have the momentum. Three timeouts too. Really fucking stupid.
