Nah, ever since his last year in college at Auburn, I knew he was damn good. Any team that would've had him at QB that year would've more than likely been contending for the title.

Cam was Tim Tebow's backup at FLA.  Cam got into some trouble at UF and he did not want to backup Tebow for another year, so he transferred to a junior college for one year and won the junior college national championship.  If Cam would have stayed at UF he might have been the starter as a sophomore (unlikely he would beat out Tebow, even if he was better).  Cam would have definitely been the starting QB as a junior at UF instead of Auburn  :raincloud:  What might have been

The new playoff poll is out and UNC is being shat on again.  UNC is the lowest ranked 1 loss team, sitting at #14.
Three 2 loss teams are ranked higher than UNC - Stanford, Michigan, and Florida St.
Florida dropped 4 spots to 12th, UNC is easily a better team than UF right now.
Oklahoma jumped from 7th to 3rd which is too much IMO, they barely beat TCU which was playing a backup QB.
Notre Dame dropped out of the playoff spots, falling to #6.  I hope Stanford beats them to keep them out of the playoffs.
Iowa & Mich St. were #4 & #5, so one of them will drop before this is over.

Johnny Manziel has off the field trouble again and loses his starting QB spot with the Browns.  :dohdohdoh: :lolsign:

Yep, saw that on the ESPN app today. Johnny Football's the #3 man in Cleveland. I dunno, must be more to the story that the public ain't privy to. Like with the rehab thing. I don't think that would've been a completely voluntary thing just to polish his image. He doesn't strike me as the kind of kid who'd do that on his own. Maybe he showed up to practice a few times hungover and reeking of beer and the Browns told him he either had to go seek treatment or he'd be immediately fired. I mean OBVIOUSLY there's been some kinda problem behind the scenes. People like to "think" that NFL players are held to high standards and they strive to be role models, but... no. No they don't. NFL players get in trouble with the law all the time, and for shit a bit more serious than having a drinking problem.

'Nuff said? = http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/police-blotter/

So, yeah, I don't see that a picture of him swigging a bottle of Captain Morgan all on it's own merits is gonna warrant bumping your 1st round draft pick Heisman QB to last in line with rumors of shitcanning him at the end of the season. There's something else.

Yup, a loss to southern would've been it.

As for unc being undervalued, it's really the first release that killed them. They were completely left out when we all knew they should've been 23rd(what they were the following week). Their progression by win since has been warranted... But, they should probably be 10-11th now.

Fsu Florida is going to be crucial for nc. If the gators win, then nc plays well but loses to Clemson, then they snag the ACC at large spot in the New Years six.

Florida's defense better put up some points, because the offense can't  :raincloud:

https://www.dawgnation.com/football/team-news/key-boosters-pushing-uga-leaders-on-mark-richt-decision

Yup, a loss to southern would've been it.

Not necessarily immediately "it". I don't think UGA would be dumb enough to fire a head coach mid-season like South Carolina did. And the athletic director at ANY school isn't ever gonna come out and declare what their criteria for a coach keeping his job is. That would just be unprofessional. But obviously people know from talking to others around the football program that his job is quite possibly in jeopardy. I think there's probably several reasons OTHER than the Bulldogs record this year that has the athletic director questioning Richt's ability to coach the team. The coach and his staff are the ones who meet with recruits and pursue them. Mark Richt was the guy who wanted this Brice Ramsey kid to come play QB at UGA. And he sucked fucking ass the first time he put him in the game. And he's sucked just as bad ever since, no improvement even after 2 or 3 seasons at UGA. Then he figures that Ramsey ain't ever gonna be a decent QB for UGA, he transfers this Greyson Lambert dickbag as a senior from Virginia, and he fucking sucks ass too. And it's mistakes like that which have lead to the record that UGA has this year, which is just one more bad mark against him among all the others.

It really just depends on what McGarity has already made up his mind about. If all the aforementioned shit is enough to tip the scales, he's already gone no matter what happens vs Georgia Tech and whoever the Bulldogs face in a bowl game. If he's undecided at this point, then I'd assume he expects the Bulldogs to either win the next 2 games, or win 1 and lose the other by 3 or less due to a missed field goal kick. Because I can't see the athletic director allowing ONE missed field goal in a close game to determine Mark Richt's fate, especially when everyone in Athens is already well aware that our kicker is just fucking terrible. Those fucking kickers, man. You don't appreciate the good job that the good ones do until you have a bad one. We used to have Blair Walsh as the kicker at UGA from 2008 to 2011. He actually got DRAFTED into the NFL, which is rare for kickers. He was good. You could ALWAYS count on him to punch that shit through the uprights. This dickbag we got now, Marshall Morgan... I wouldn't piss on him if he was on fire.

You would think every major program would have a relatively good kicker.  There must be a kicker shortage in this country.
Florida had a open tryout mid season to try to find a kicker.  They brought in a dentist student to be their backup kicker, he has missed the only kick they let him try (missed extra point against Vandy).  The main kicker is 5 for 11 on field goals and 24 of 27 on extra points.

Haha! Yeah, see what I mean? When Blair Walsh was kicking for UGA from 2008 to 2011, he attempted 185 PAT's, and made 184 of them, which is currently the PAT record for any kicker at UGA. Kinda helped that he had a TD machine like Aaron Murray at QB to get him that many PAT attempts. I'm thinking the only one out of the 185 attempts that he missed was actually blocked by the defense during that crazy game they had against Auburn who snagged a miraculous come-from-behind win against them.

Haha! Nice! Cha-ching! :bravo:

Can't believe it. Everybody I rooted for today won. Lions won ON THANKSGIVING! What!?! That NEVER happens! Then Carolina clobbered the shit out of Dallas, both on the scoreboard and in the backfield. Romo should've sat out the rest of the year. A tumble onto that same shoulder was inevitable, and collarbone breaks take longer than a couple months to heal sturdy enough to do shit like play football.

And for desert, we got to watch the Bears play the Packers at Lambeau for the first time in a loooooong time on Thanksgiving Day. And lookie-lookie who shows up, none other than Brett Favre. And he brought nothing but bad luck with him. The Packers, at HOME, on Thanksgiving, in the worst shitty Green Bay weather that the Packers could've wished for to maybe give them even more of an edge. Shit couldn't have been MORE stacked against Cutler and the Bears, and god dammit, they PULLED IT OFF! And on the same night that Brett Favre comes out of hiding to see his number retired and his name unveiled in the ring of honor at historic Lambeau Field. I don't care if you're using two of the widest widescreen monitors available, there still ain't enough room to display a smilie that accurately depicts how wide my shit-eating grin was by the end of that game. And not only was it fun as hell watching the Packers lose on the same night that Brett Favre shows up, but it was actually a damn good close game too. Green Bay was soooo close to snatching the win there at the end.

This... is officially the start of GUY SEASON. From Thanksgiving until New Years, it's the BEST time of the year. College football has it's awesome in-state rivalry Saturday right after Thanksgiving. Then you have the best part of the NFL season on Sundays (not to mention Monday and Thursday nights as well). And after this weekend, the college football conference championship games. And after that, an endless stream of college football bowl games every god damned day of the week starting in mid-December.

Yeah, and then Christmas happens. Who cares though.

And then AFTER CHRISTMAS, you have the major college football bowl games! And right after New Years, you have the college football National Championship game! NO! STOP! IT'S TOO MUCH! FUCK YOU, WE AIN'T DONE YET! Because then you have the NFL playoffs! And then you have the FUCKING SUPERBOWL! I JUST CAME! AGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Life is pretty fucking cool. It's too bad those raghead motherfuckers in the middle east don't have this kinda shit to look forward to, maybe they'd kill fewer people and sit in front of a TV drinking beer more like God intended.

Haha yeah they need it more than anyone.

I'm looking forward to the rivalry games too. I'll be watching tv all day haha.

Today we have Iowa Nebraska, Oregon Oregon state, and Baylor TCU. I'm rooting for the underdog on all 3 and its home for TCU and Nebraska which is cool.

on Saturday I'll probably watch whatever is the best game out of Ohio state Michigan, Georgia ga tech, and Clemson sc @ noon. 3:30 unc nc state and hoping auburn somehow beats Alabama. 7:00 Florida Florida state, Oklahoma state Oklahoma, and Stanford notre dame.

My sports betting balance is now $2,200. I started with $250 at the start of this season and haven't deposited since. I'm really considering cashing out 2k so the holidays are paid for and the rest going to baby stuff then having $200 to play around with....

What do y'all think about the Miami Pitt game(today at noon)?

I had Thanksgiving dinner yesterday with my brother & sister in-law who are both rabid Seminole fans.  Thank god Thanksgiving comes before the UF/FLA St. game.  The brother in law was talking trash, saying once FLA St. scores a field goal, its over.  The really sad part is, he might be right  :raincloud:
The UF defense will have to have a great game for UF to win.
