Julio Jones is really bailing Ryan out on some of these throws. From terrible, to mediocre, to Ryan just chunking it and letting jones' athleticism do it all jones is making all the necessary adjustments. Ryan is putting forth the effort though.

I might have the record for longest chain post in the official football thread but screw it, the real bowl games are about to begin.

UNC v Baylor
NC State v Mississippi State
Texas A&M v Louisville

Are all in the next 2 days and I'll be watching them. I think I'm going all ACC with my predictions with these.

Alabama v Michigan State

Alabama will win I think(maybe), but it's a 10 pt spread. I'd take Michigan State on the +10 spread.

Oklahoma v Clemson

This is a tough one. I'm most unsure with this one.

Yeah I probably should have included that game. It's just a really awkward style clash, but that can make it a good game just as much as likely as it could be a bad game. Is LSU going to put points on the board? Yeah, no doubt, Texas tech has some terrible big 12 defense. Will Texas tech put points up? Yeah, their offense is good with an even better qb, but it'll be against the best defense they've faced this year. I think LSU will out score them 2:1 and I'll probably watch it cuz it's right after the unc game on ESPN.

Florida v Michigan... I really hope somehow that the gators pull it off. Pretty much routing against the big 10 this whole week

There's little doubt in my mind. It's gonna be Clemson vs Alabama for the whole taco. And Alabama's gonna take home the taco.

I can't prove that Alabama cheats, but I have a strong gut feeling that they do. How exactly, I dunno. I'm leaning more towards them doing Bill Belichick type of shit, probably having an army of guys up in the booth with some powerful binoculars spying on the opposing teams plays, maybe reading lips, I dunno. All I know is... this years Alabama team is not physically talented enough to be where they're at, not when there's other teams that are just as physically talented and skilled as they are who AREN'T top 4. Maybe I'm talking outta my ass. Maybe I'm a poor sport about shit. But it's just really odd how Nick Saban can shuffle these players in and out of Alabama during their college careers and never hit a drought season like other folks. And you've never seen NFL teams do that kind of shit, have you? Actually, yes you have. You've seen the Patriots have that kind of too-consistent success. And we're all aware that Belichick and the Patriots will fudge the rules a tad to gain any edge. Like I mentioned before, Belichick spying on play calls... and most recently, "Deflategate". So... yeah, something don't smell right to me in Tuscaloosa.

Yeah. I have no idea why we're not covering the run against a team that can only run. They do NOT look to be tiring out, so that strategy can be thrown in the trash. And not only that, Baylor is not a great passing team with a backup qb and unc's corners are EXCELLENT. Dumb strategy unless they actually wear out and unc's offense keeps their thumbs in their asses.

That punter doing a spin move, pretending he got hit, then grabbing his ankle was one of the lamer things I've seen lately. Two calls the refs barely fudged but borderline enough to not be overturned and unc being dumb, here we are. They're lucky to only be down 11.

everything that could've went wrong for unc did. Fumble an inch away from the endzone on 1st down, Baylor recovers for a touchback then the next play they score. 14 point swing in 10 seconds. The Baylor punter that pretended tone hit and injured then Baylor scores on the next drive. That ridiculous interception. Their best WR ejected for targeting. Their best all around guy, Ryan Switzer hit so hard he's spitting blood out of his mouth on a borderline targeting call. Setting a record for most rushing yards allowed in a bowl game. Their qb having the 2nd worst game he's had all year.

I could go on. Holy shit.

I just got back in and checked the UNC/Baylor box score.

Baylor ran the ball 84 times for 645 yards and had 102 total plays.
UNC only ran 72 total plays. UNC must have had a few turnovers for Baylor to run 30 more plays.

Baylor rushed for 700 yards!!!! Lmao. Their rob Jefferson had 700(even) career rushing yards and broke 1000 hahahahaha. I just have to laugh. And it's kind of funny that unc only lost by 11 considering the worst game I've seen them play since I can remember. Nah it's not funny actually. It leaves an extremely sour taste in my mouth similar to sour mash. I know it has nothing to do with what I've been drinking that's just a coincidence.

Auburn surprised me yesterday, the way they shutdown Memphis. Memphis barely got 200 yards for the game.

I thought Miss St. would win. I wanted to see Brissett do good in his last game, but he had one of his worst games

I was surprised Texas A&M played UL as tough as they did. The Texas A&M QB had never started before that game.

Clemson & Alabama for the National Championship.

Clemson dominated Oklahoma, the game was not as close as the score (37-17). Clemson should have scored more points but made some mistakes in the red zone in the first half. Clemson cleaned up their mistakes and outscored Oklahoma 21-0 in the second half.

Alabama reamed Mich St. 38-0. Mich St. stacked the box to stop the run, so Alabama beat them through the air. Alabama's QB Coker played the game of his life, going 25 for 30 with 2 TD's and 0 Int's.

Alabama is a 7 point favorite going into the Championship game. I think Alabama will win the game against Clemson, but I think Clemson has been a underrated team all year. Alabama has had problems with mobile QB's and Clemson RB Gallman is really good but he has been underrated also. Coker will have to have another good (not great) game for Alabama to win.

If you had to pick a 4th, in the hypothetical most deserving playoff, who would it be? Ohio state I guess. I just don't like them. Houston was impressive against fl state though.
