Shit. Duke just had to go and beat ga tech a week before UNC faces them in a week. One less ranked opponent faced making unc's schedule even easier.. but maybe duke can keep it up and that'll serve as a proving ground match for unc(at least on paper). It might be advantageous for UNC even, GA tech is just that team UNC can't beat in the ACC, even if NC beats all the jackets. Once the refs gave it to ga tech, another one was close, then they kicked our ass 3 times. I think UNC is 1-5 to them or something, but i'd bet on UNC against duke.

The FLA win over TN was crazy, I would never thought FLA would comeback and win that game. I like what have seen from Grier at QB.
Grier still has to improve a lot before he can be a top QB, he is doing really well being that he is a freshman. The FLA tackling was terrible yesterday, I have to give credit to TN for some of that. The O-line did really well considering they had 3 freshman playing. Ole Miss will be another step up, which I don't think FLA can handle, but maybe they will surprise me again.

I am looking forward to the UGA/ALA game next week. I think UGA will get the win this year after many heartbreaks in the past.

It is a shame that UGA & LSU don't play this year, I would like to see Chubb and Fournette go head to head. Maybe they will meet in the SEC Championship game. I am more concerned about LSU, because they don't seem to have much of a QB threat. A team that has a good run defense may be able to stack the box and keep Fournette somewhat under control.

This weekend against GA tech will be a huge game for UNC. The top contenders to the UNC coastal division are UNC and duke, IMO, partly due to both of these teams not playing clemson/FSU like GA tech and Miami both do

. VA Tech is in the same boat as NC and duke(not facing fsu/clemson) but I doubt they'll be in the picture... maybe. UNC or duke have to lose at least 2 games they shouldn't to even give miami or ga tech a shot basically, which it may very well happen.

It sort of sucks to even have this conversation. You can't get better unless you face better teams.

Random note, UNC switched QB's officially it seems. Last season we played 1 about 80% of the time and the other 20% of the time.. the latter was a freshman, he stepped up a bit and completely exposed a shitty delaware team that our 1st string guy was having trouble with in the 2nd half.. I think he'll start against ga tech.

After a rough 1st half, UNC up 13-10, 2nd string guy goes in and throws two long distance bombs exposing corner coverage, makes a nice pass to howard, and then gives it to ryan switzer(the fastest little guy in the NCAA) who capitalizes off initially shitty coverage then uses his speed. It's nothing special, but it's how this game should've went in the first half.

It's weird. Everyone thought that Georgia Tech was gonna be King Shit in the ACC Coastal and predestined for the ACC Championship. Yeah, maybe if they were the exact same team that they were at the end of the year last season. But... they ain't. At this point, it's anybody's game across the entire ACC. Week 4's in the books and everyone only has 1 in-conference game under their belt at most. 4 weeks in and most are still a flat 0-0 in the W/L column for conference.

GT losing to Notre Dame wasn't enough to really make Jackets fans shit their pants yet. The Irish don't completely suck, especially on defense. But a loss to Duke? Damn. That shit stings. If they get beat by Duke by a wider margin than they did by Notre Dame... doesn't bode well for them with North Carolina, Clemson, Pitt, and Florida State just around the corner. They might wanna put the pillow over their head, go to sleep, and not wake up until November. Just pretend the next 4 weeks is all a bad dream.

South Carolina @ Mizz - SC is bad this year and I don't think Mizz is that great either - I give Mizz the win, they are the home team.

ALA @ UGA - UGA is favored, can they actually get it done

I think ALA slows down the UGA running game, but not enough to get the win.

San Jose State @ Auburn - This should be close but I am going to give the edge to Auburn since they are at home.

Ole Miss @ FLA - If FLA doesn't turn the ball over, they have a chance. I think Ole Miss will pull out the win but it won't be easy.

ARK @ Tenn - I think Tenn rebounds in this game and gets the win in a tough/physical game.

Eastern Michigan @ LSU - I got LSU and Fournette goes for over 200 yards (He could get 300 but LSU pulls him in the 3rd quarter).

Vandy @ Middle Tenn - Vandy has a road game at Middle Tenn

Sc over Missouri 30-20, and I'd lean on Nama beating Georgia even though I'll be routing for Georgia and I've been impressed with them this season.

Big ACC match-ups are notre dame v. Clemson, unc v. Ga tech, nc state v. Louisville, and duke v. Boston college.
