What in the hell is going on? 2 weeks in a row we break the single game rushing record. New record is 427 yds by OU's Samaje Perine. If I was Melvin Gordon, I think I would be a little annoyed to have only held the record for a whopping ONE WEEK before someone else broke it.

Wisconsin's Gordon got 408 against Nebraska and did not play the 4th quarter.

Oklahoma's Perine went out of the game with 12:16 left in the 4th quarter, once he had the record.

Just think what the record could have been if those guys played the whole game.  They also could have had a season ending injury on the next play.

Probably both of those guys break 500 yards. 

It would be interesting to know if LT came out of the game early when he had 406.

This is the worst bunch of wimps, especially "defense", that I have seen in a long time for N.O.  They either made it to the pros without having to learn the fundamentals of tackling or they are scared......or both.

FLA lost to FLA St. just like I expected, but I still enjoyed the game.
I loved the befuddled looks on Jameis face every time he threw an interception 
FLA's defense stepped up once again and the offense let them down once again.
FLA's defense held the great FLA St. offense  to 17 points, only 3 points in the second half (when FLA St. always shows the great team they are).
FLA got 3 interceptions in the first quarter and only got 6 points 
FLA St. got 1 interception in the first quarter and got 7 points. 
FLA St. followed the same plan other teams have used to beat FLA (stack the box and shutdown the run, and make the QB beat you)
FLA's QB was 13/32 with 2 int's - enough said.

I was glad to see Alabama pulled out the win against Auburn.
If Alabama loses, I doubt the SEC would have any teams in the playoff.
  happened to the SEC against the ACC yesterday, the ACC went 4-0 against SEC teams.
I know a lot of it has to do with the matchups, 3 of the loses were against FLA, South Carolina, and Kentucky (all underdogs I bet)

Just like I thought, FL state is now 4th in the playoff rankings. If miss st hadn't lost recently, FL state probably wouldn't have made it even being undefeated reigning champs. I'm all for FL state losing, but this seems pretty stupid. Watch Ohio state pass FL state with a loss to vs tech lmao

I dunno. The playoffs aren't set in stone yet. It's gonna come down to who wins their conferences and then it'll probably end up being the top 4 ranked winners of their conference championship.

Most likely it'll be Alabama, TCU, Oregon, and Florida State. If Florida State loses to Georgia Tech, then Ohio State might make it if they win. If Alabama loses to Missouri, most likely Missouri won't make it... which is kinda the fucking weird thing about this new playoff system. Seems to me whoever the hell wins the SEC championship should get a playoff berth. I mean come on, it's the best conference in the NCAA. Not just saying that because my school is SEC, just saying it because it's the damn truth, and it's BEEN the truth all season long, and for the last 10 years as well.

But if this is really how things were "supposed" to work with the college football playoffs, then I don't see it as much of an improvement over the BCS system, or really, I don't see it as much of a change AT ALL. The ranking game still holds ultimate sway over who's in and who's out, and it's the entire ranking game which dictates that late-season losses have more impact than early losses. For example, two teams go 11-1. Team A lost the one game against their very first opponent. Team B lost the one game during in-state rivalry weekend (the last game of the regular season). Which team is ALWAYS going to be ranked higher? 99% of the time, it will be Team A that gets the better ranking. And whether the coaches deciding it will admit it or not, rankings ARE a factor to them.

Somebody's gonna win this weekend, totally deserve a shot at the national title, but be locked the fuck out because that number by their name just isn't quite high enough. Sucks to be them. Should've won more?

Ready as a MUTHAFUCKER for bowl season though! My FAVORITE time of year. Just laying around the house for a week or a two before christmas watching a handful of different bowl games every damn day. Awesome. And if bowl season shakes out to be anywhere near as good as the games during in-state rivalry weekend this year, shit's gonna be GREAT!
