Things are looking up for your Falcons today, they play the Yucks.

I was happy to see ND get beat yesterday, that should eliminate the ND playoff talk.  If any 2 loss team can get in the playoffs, ND will be it. 

Miss St. won a cupcake game.  They still have road games against Alabama and Ole Miss. Next week in Alabama will be huge.

Fla St. barely beat another team with a losing schedule 

Auburn fumbled away a chance at winning against Texas A&M, so Auburn is out of the playoffs.

Oregon won and won't have any other tough games until the PAC 12 championship.

Alabama survived against LSU.  If LSU had a good QB, they might be the best team in the country.

TCU beat Kansas St. pretty easily.  TCU should win out, the only challenge will be Texas in Austin.

Ohio St. got a big win against Mich St.   Ohio St. will get a big jump up this week. 

Ariz St. will probably get a big jump because of their win over ND.

Baylor will move up a lot because of the way they dominated Oklahoma in Oklahoma.  Baylor has 3 home games left and they will be favored in all of them.

Ariz St. will probably get a big jump because of their win over ND.

Yeah, ASU's D-line was up in Everett Golson's shit with all 10 fingers and toes all day long. Coverage downfield was a little sparse and dangerous, but the extra blitzers had him running scared and missing half the throws anyway. ASU's been looking pretty darned good all year with the exception of the abysmal asswhopping they took from UCLA back in September. Oregon's gonna have their hands full with possibly MORE than their hands can carry come time for the PAC12 Championship. That's assuming ASU even gets there. Arizona could spoil their shit and giftwrap the spot for UCLA instead.

Like I said... it's looking more and more like Alabama's gonna once again completely miss the SEC championship and yet still find a red carpet path to the Sugar Bowl.

I was kinda hoping that Auburn could retain their rank this week to give Georgia an added rank boost if they end up beating them next Saturday. And I had little hope of it happening until I saw the way Georgia's Hutson Mason was passing the ball today. Holy shit. What the fuck happened? It's like overnight he's FINALLY learned how to pass a fucking ball with a little accuracy and also some real power behind it. Where the fuck was this guy back in the first few games of the season? And last week? Yeah, it fuckin' figures. His last few games before he graduates and pisses off to certain obscurity, THEN he finally figures out how to zipline shit. Better late than never I guess. Was fucking shocked inside out outta my own asshole to see Georgia running up over 60 points on a very decent Kentucky team.

But then again, Auburn losing yesterday doesn't really matter for Georgia. They're out of the final 4 anyway. And if Auburn still loses to Georgia, Georgia might not be beating a #3 team, but it does mean that in game 12 of the season, Alabama's gonna be facing a competent but low ranked Auburn team that will completely assrape their post-season bowl seeding if they should happen to lose to them.

Well, I told y'all TCU was my #5 team, Notre dame out of the equation, they're in(on my list). They dismantled k-state and if I were to release my own "power rankings" it'd be tough putting TCU below miss st.

Miss St shoulda lost to Arkansas.  Just like bama and a&m should have. I don't think Miss St goes unbeaten. LSU or Missouri or most likely Ole Miss will lose to Arkansas. We can't keep losing all these close games

I think the rankings tomorrow will be

1. Mississippi st
2. Florida state
3. Alabama
4. TCU
5. Oregon
6. Arizona state
7. Ole miss
8. Baylor
9. Ohio state
10. Nebraska

But, I guess they'll probably Oregon at 4.

It will be very interesting if TCU & Baylor both win out, who gets the higher ranking.  TCU is ranked quite a bit higher right now (TCU @ 6, Baylor @ 12).
TCU would probably get the higher ranking, but both teams would have 1 loss and TCU lost to Baylor.  Baylor would win the conference championship because of the head to head tiebreaker (The Big 12 does not have a championship game).

My top 4 predictions are (no particular order)
1. FLA St.
2. 1 loss SEC team Alabama or Miss St.
3. 1 loss PAC 12 team Oregon/Arizona or Arizona St.
4. 1 loss Big 12 team TCU or Baylor

Man! Great Saturday of football!

First of all, Wisconsin's Melvin Gordon piling up 408 yards rushing all by himself against Nebraska (new NCAA single game rushing record). Holy fuck. THAT... is impressive. 

Georgia Tech handing Clemson a 28-6 beatdown, with GT's defense play alone outscoring Clemson's offense.

Virginia Tech edging out Duke by 1 point, giving Georgia Tech some hope at winning the ACC Coastal division. Would love to see how Florida State fares versus Georgia Tech in the ACC Championship.

Arkansas FINALLY earning a victory over an SEC opponent in a shutout against LSU.

Oregon State Beavs upsetting Arizona State, probably obliterating ASU's chances at securing the PAC12 south division and thus any hope at a spot in the Rose Bowl.

With Alabama finally taking unbeaten Mississippi State down, it probably wrecks the chances of any two SEC teams making the final 4 cut for the playoffs, and more than likely the only SEC team that will get in will be the winner of the SEC Championship.

Was at the Georgia game last night. Froze my balls off, drank myself silly, but damn it was fun. Whole stadium was going fucking nuts watching the Dawgs lay a beatdown on Auburn in what was expected by EVERYONE to be a close game and ended up being anything BUT a close game.

I still don't understand how the same Georgia team I saw manhandle Auburn last night could possibly be the same team that allowed Florida to walk all over them 2 weeks ago. Still, the performance against Auburn gives me increasing hope. If Georgia can get an assist from Tennessee or Arkansas handing Missouri a loss in one of their next 2 games, and if Georgia can continue playing defense as well as they did against Auburn come December, then Georgia might have a legit shot at beating whoever claims the West in the SEC Championship. Hopefully Missouri will lose, because no one else from the East besides Georgia is gonna be able to put up a decent fight and the SEC Championship will just turn out to be a boring one-sided ass whooping of Missouri if they show up.

Already not liking the play-offs. Teams are going to get left out... It should be at least 8 teams in the play-off. Oregon moving above FL state with a loss to Arizona(a worse loss than TCU or Alabama has) is stupid. If this logic/trend continues, and if Alabama and TCU win out, then the undefeated and reigning champs could be left out of the play-offs. I really don't understand how the CFP poll is done... Sure, make an argument that the PAC is better than the SEC(not true), but even if they were, they're not SO much better that the top 5 team with the worst loss(Oregon) jumps above FL state. For the record, if these two teams met I'd consider Oregon favored but hopefully you get my point. A lot of other teams are going to be left out as well, everyone is going to have 1-2 losses just like most thought.

UNC is now 5-5 and doing marginally better. With GA Tech leading the ACC coastal(Duke would have to win out just to tie, and I haven't looked at their records but if I had to guess GA tech would get it still in this case). Duke and Georgia Tech do have tying loss records ^*in the ACC Coastal now. The asterisk is because both are 2 losses within the ACC Coastal, but for overall record (ACC + non-conference), GT is 9-2 right now while Duke is 8-2. Georgia Tech doesn't play this coming Saturday, and Duke does. And remember that Duke actually beat Georgia Tech earlier this season. GT being overall 9-2 (because of game scheduling) is the one and only reason why Georgia Tech is 1st in the ACC Coastal right now, because both teams have 2 losses within the ACC. So if Duke does win their last 2 games, which are ACC opponents (UNC and Wake Forest), then Duke will have the tie-breaker because of their win over Georgia Tech, and Duke will win the Coastal division. So while Georgia Tech might be in 1st in the Coastal division, they still gotta hope that UNC can hand them another loss this Saturday in order to stay there... because fuck knows Wake Forest ain't gonna do it.

And then again, Georgia Tech's last game is also against Georgia. Georgia has won 12 out of the last 13 meetings. Needless to say... Georgia Tech isn't going win this year either, even with Todd Gurley out for good. It could happen... but I doubt it.

Then again, I'm laughing my fucking balls off that the Falcons are in 1st place in the NFC South right now. Jesus fucking christmas crackers christ, how BAD is the fucking NFC south when a team is below 500 this far into the season and yet STILL gets 1st place in the division. Just imagine the Falcons actually playing in a playoff game, as fucking awful as they are. Holy shit, the system is flawed.

On one hand, I wanna see them completely miss the playoffs, because making it in might give them something to be proud of, and they don't fucking deserve to be proud of ANYTHING this year cuz they fucking suck ass. On the other hand, it might be a little funny to see them make the playoffs, get their hopes up, and then have them dashed to pieces when they get shutout 80 to 0 against somebody like the fucking Cowboys. But mostly, I'd rather see them miss it altogether due to New Orleans or Carolina. After they sucked Tony Gonzalez dick until he agreed to stay on one more year last season... only to have the rest of the team play like absolutely SHIT, I'd feel ever worse for ole Tony if somehow they actually made the playoffs THIS year when they couldn't last year.
