They'll damn near start fist-fights with visitor fans, throw food, beer, water, and trash at them after the games. It's fucking retarded. For that reason, Georgia fans have every right to act abusive and aggressive towards Gamecocks fans when they come to Athens, but of course we DON'T, because we're fucking civilized human beings. (eh, but probably because there's better security and police presence in Athens and they'll fucking arrest you. )

But being a Tech fan this year ain't too bad so far. Undefeated. Who could complain about that? In fact last time I saw Paul Johnson getting interviewed after the game, he was acting pretty shocked that they were undefeated so far. Hell, if they keep their shit in a row and get a few more strokes of luck, it's entirely possible that they could 12-0 this year. (note that I said "possible", not "likely")

oh, the thing about ga tech fans was just a general statement although somewhat directed towards you because you are familiar with them.

So I have Carolina, buffalo, chicago, philly, new england, steelers, and indy winning. I bet on two contradicting outcomes with atlanta/minnesota and miami/oakland. And I bet on the first scoring play for the carolina game, chicago game, and bucs game.

This shit's almost comical. Minnesota's down by 1 point early in the 4th, they spend their LAST timeout before a 4th and goal attempt. Anyone else around the league playing defense would be fired up as hell to see such a thing come about. Stop em and retain the lead with all the opponents timeouts gone? Fuck yeah. But FUCK NO. I don't think anyone will ever be able to explain to me why trading Darren Sproles for a fucking 5th round draft pick was a good idea without it sounding completely fucking retarded. It's impossible to do. To quote Sproles' wikipedia page

It's close enough. Kinda like Atlanta's done, they've cut so many people loose that they were fucking foolish to lose voluntarily. Meanwhile they've kept others that are probably on the decline and should've been looking to replace. Give up Darren fuckin' Sproles? For a 5th round draft pick? Someone's fucking drinking on the job or something.

Aside from that, New Orleans ain't in bad shape. In the NFL, it's little tiny things that add up to make a team look really super great or really super horrible. One of the little things is ball security. Honestly, the Saints could've come back on the Cowboys last night, but like the last time I saw them play when they played Atlanta, they fumbled at the precise WRONG time, and it crushed any chance of winning. New Orleans ain't TOTALLY screwed for runningbacks, they could do a helluva lot worse. Mark Ingram isn't wonderful, but he sure beats the shit out of a slowpoke like Steven Jackson. Like I said, they could do a helluva lot worse... but they could also do a helluva lot better if they've kept Sproles. I mean... what the fuck. It just blows my fucking mind how not only could some dumbass pencil-pushing lackey scout propose such a thing, but then have the coaches and GM sign off on it and say, "Yeah, that's a great idea, let's do it!" No one single person makes those decisions. It took a whole hierarchy of people all consecutively agreeing with a really dumb idea to bring that fuck-up about.

How bout them Cowboys?   

They actually had a gg last night against the Saints, and even though I don't follow sports much, it's always a sign that they could be Superbowl class if they'd get it together every game (like last night).  I'm not holding my breath, though.  Seems like every year, things go well but it comes down to the quarter-finals and they decide to go full retard and Dallas ends up watching some real heroes compete for the gold.

If the boys would actually win a Superbowl, I might give half a shit about sports because there'd be something worthwhile to celebrate locally, but as it stands, it seems Dallas is a cheap knockoff of what great teams are supposed to be.  The only exceptional instance was in 2011 when the Mavs won the NBA finals.  I actually started to care about following some of the sports stats, but then the losing started back up and it got boring as fuck again.
