They are a young team, I just don't think they are any better this year than last year.  The management made no moves to improve the team through free agency last offseason.
Other teams made moves to get better, Tampa did nothing 

Tampa needs players on defense, they are 28th overall.
They need a good pass rusher, they are next to last in sacks.  This is a reason they are 26th in pass defense (no quarterback pressure).
They need a big guy to clog the middle, they are 24th in rush defense.

Stanford and Boise go down yesterday, that leaves LSU, OK St., and Houston (Houston don't matter) as the only undefeated teams left.

If Oklahoma beats Oklahoma St. - who plays LSU for the national title (assuming LSU doesn't lose)

Oklahoma, Oregon, and Alabama  all will be screaming for their chance.  Actually Arkansas, Clemson, Virginia Tech and Oklahoma St. will be screaming also if they only have 1 loss.

I say let LSU play Houston if Houston is undefeated     That would be like when Georgia played Hawaii and Hawaii took their quarterback out mid-game because they were afraid he would be hurt so bad it might screw up his NFL chances.

btw - Georgia looked really good yesterday against Auburn, they could give LSU a good game IF they play like they did yesterday.

Yeah, UGA did pretty well yesterday. I was actually at that game. Showed up a little late, was 7 to 0 when we walked into the stadium, 7 to 7 by the time we got in our seats. Looked like it might've been a good game to watch at first... but that shit all changed in the 2nd quarter when they started running away with it. That's pretty much how Georgia would HAVE to play if they would hope to have a chance against whoever they play in the SEC game (if they beat Kentucky next week, which they probably will). If you've seen UGA play the past few games, their punter fucking SUUUUUUCKS! Seems like he knows his job in the first half of the game: to kick the damn ball as far down the field as he can. Then when shit gets harsh and they get backed into a 4th down in their own end of the field and go to punt, he always punts the fucking thing a pussified 15 or 20 yards like a little faggot (bundle of sticks), giving the opponent a swell starting point to score on us. God forbid there ever be a strong wind blowing in his face, the damn ball would probably go BACKWARDS when he punts it, grumble grumble fuckin grumble.

I dunno how the hell it works, I dunno if LSU might have to play Georgia in the SEC game, they would probably skip it being the #1 BCS team leaving the #2 ranked team in their division to play us (probably Alabama).

On one hand, I'd kinda like to see another LSU-Bama game for the BCS title, but then again, it's highly unlikely that would ever happen since LSU already beat them in regular season play, I just don't see the " wise elder wizards of the polls" allowing it to happen.

And speaking of the Georgia Tech vs Virginia Tech game this past Thursday... COACH PAUL JOHNSON IS A FUCKING TWIT. He goes for a 4th and short from around their own 35 yd line. And of course, the Yellow Jackets DO NOT make it. End of the fucking game right there. From then on, it was a disaster.

And I guess Falcons coach Mike Smith was watching that game and thought differently about Paul Johnson's dumbass decision, because Atlanta manages to tie it up at the end of the 4th quarter and send it to OT, then goes for a 4th and inches deep in their own territory. And OF FUCKING COURSE they hand it off to Michael Turner and he tries to gingerly walk right through a heaping pile of very large humans and gets stopped way short as ALWAYS. Had they been handing off to Jaquizz Rogers, he would've seen the huge pile ahead of him and tried to cut around the pile and PROBABLY would've gotten the 1st down. That doesn't even matter though. The games on the fucking line. You NEVER NEVER NEVER EVER go for a 4th down on your own side of the field when the current score and game clock does not dictate that it's absolutely required for you to do so. When you're down by 3 or 7, there's only 2 or 3 minutes left on the clock, and it's the 4th quarter, YES. When the score's TIED, it's overtime, you're anywhere near your own 30 yd line, and all it takes to win is a long well-kicked field goal... HELL NO.

I still had a little teeny tiny bit of hope for Atlanta salvaging the season and maybe making a playoff run, but Mike Smith had to go personally pissing all over those hopes with that idiotic play call.

The SEC will crown their champion by the east division winner playing the west division winner.  If LSU and GA win out, they will play for the SEC championship.

 LSU is a unanimous No. 1 in The Associated Press college football poll, marking the first time since 2008 a team has received all the first-place votes during the regular season.

LSU has to get through arKANSAS before they play in the sec title game..if they lose that game..no telling how the tie breaker works (being that bama beat arkansas...3 way tie..ect)

They would've killed the Vikings 45 to 0 if their punt returner would've caught the punt PROPERLY. Dumbass tried to catch it overhanded against his shoulder like a pass or something. You're supposed to run under it and cradle it kinda like how a baseball player would scoop up a grounder.

Still, I don't think the Packers are unbeatable. That one Minnesota scoring drive last night proves that much. Just play mistake-free and let THEM fuck up first. Zone coverage ain't working for a lot of teams this year either. But I guess most teams are insisting on sticking with it because it's better to allow their opponent to pick up passing yards by exploiting seams in coverage rather than risking huge plays made on long passes against man coverage. Although the teams that often play man coverage pretty well still aren't using it enough. That's what drives me bonkers seeing Atlanta play defense. The damn defensive coordinator seems to want to call ONLY zone coverage defenses every single play. Sometimes it works, but often it WON'T against surgical bomber veteran QB's like Drew Brees. He's played long enough to recognize where the defenders are supposed to cover and he can usually zip one into a weak seam where it needs to go. As long as the receiver does his job and hauls it in properly, it's gonna be a first down.
