Oklahoma is taking Texas to the woodshed in the first half.

Texas was undefeated but they had not played anyone good, so they were kind of a unknown.

Speaking of woodshed's, my Gators will probably be visiting there again this week

I think Oklahoma still deserves to be #1, not LSU. I say:
1. Oklahoma
2. LSU
3. Alabama

But LSU has a little tougher schedule than Oklahoma this year, I guess maybe that has something to do with the votes. Seems like they play favorites with SEC teams over other conferences in the AP poll.

November 5th gonna be a good game. LSU at Alabama.

Watching Georgia Tech lazily step all over Maryland. Didn't think ole Ramblin' Wreck would have much to show this year, but so far they're taking down everyone they face. Ranked at #13 this week, probably move up a spot or two by Monday when the new polls come out. I dunno if they're bowl eligible this year after having their ACC title and Orange Bowl stats from 2 seasons ago shitcanned due to NCAA rules violations, whatever penalty they had may still be in effect, don't know the specifics.

Well I'm happy the Saints have the ability to score when they need to

....even if it is right at the end of the game. Their defense still sucks. No up front rush at all. Their O line is banged up, but based on earlier games when they had 1st stringers they CAN NOT run the ball. They can use the pass in place of the run on a good day, and when they are all on the same page they are unstoppable. Still, weak lines and sub-par defense don't win championships.

Atlanta is looking for revenge at home against one of the top, if not the top team in the NFL. It's at home...that's worth seven points. I wouldn't bet on this one. Atlanta leads at half, but just gets nipped in the 4th quarter. I don't have a cheese head, but if I did I would be wearing it tonight. Nothing personal, I just want to see more L's in the dirty bird's column.

Do not despair...LSU's defense may be the fastest, sure tackling team I've ever seen. And Tampa is on the way up....you'll see.

Yeah, I think so. I mean Alabama is good, LSU is definitely good this year, better than Alabama in all likelihood, but I think OU's defense would render LSU pretty much impotent. You can't win if you can't score.

You were telling me to have faith in Atlanta this year, weren't you? Well I started having faith in the first quarter when it was 14 to nothing, but that all turned to shit after the second half just like I figured. Atlanta's O-line can't hold a pocket for Matt Ryan worth a shit, he's gotta get a pass off within 1.5 seconds or he's FUCKED. And the defense is too busy hoping they won't have a ball thrown near them so that they'll actually have to DO SOMETHING. And when they aren't being lazy fuckheads, the linebackers like Sean Witherspoon and Dunta Robinson are too busy being total fucking pricks to their opponent, taunting them and trying to start shit with them. They'll go to tackle someone and after they've got them down, they'll continue rolling over and tugging on their leg or knee like they're pissed off and wanting to start a fight. They're supposed to be "professional" football players, and they're acting like a bunch of ghetto backyard football "n-words" with a chip on their shoulder that's obviously way bigger than their tiny fucking brains.

I fucking quit. I was thinking about getting tickets to tonights game, but they were a little too pricey for me to rationalize splurging on at 300 bucks. I'm glad I didn't. I can guarantee you I won't be giving them any of my money by buying a ticket the rest of this season either, I don't care if they win every game from here until the end of the season (which they won't anyway). The Falcons can kiss my filthy Irish ass.

college: At this point in the season, OU vs SEC champ looks like a heck of a game. OU is stout...both sides of the ball. If Oklahoma State beats OU and somehow makes it to the title game it will be ugly.......for them.

The NFC South Krlll Mule rankings right now:

1) New Orleans
2) Tampa Bay
3) Atlanta
4) Carolina

One quarter of the way through, I can see this ranking turned upside down or anything in between by the end of the season. This should be fun to watch.

The entire NFC south is gay. Fuck them all.

Watched the Lions go toe to toe with the Bears tonight. It was pretty even except for those two HUGE plays Detroit pulled off. In the first half, Matt Stafford just slings the ball down the field as far as he fucking can without dislocating his arm, and Calvin Johnson runs under it, snatches it, jukes a little, and he's gone for 6. Then in the 2nd half, Detroits nobody RB Best somehow gets lucky and cuts back through a hole in the line and all the linebackers were busy circling around the outside edges and he has no one to even dodge in the secondary, meanwhile the safeties are busy covering the corners and they have NO CHANCE of catching him by the time he's past the linebackers and speeding up to a full sprint. Fucking WOW. Good to see Detroit having something to cheer about for the first time in a loooooooong time.

I was thinking it might be a nice change to sit down for a big fat Thanksgiving lunch and actually have an interesting game to watch. It's a long standing Thanksgiving day tradition across america, we all wake up and say, "Hey, let's watch the Lions lose like they did the last 20 Thanksgivings!" But it probably won't change this year. I hope it changes, but I doubt it. I think they play Green Bay on Thanksgiving. Yeah. The one year they start having a half way decent team is the same year that Green Bay is probably better than they ever were when they won the Superbowl with Favre.
