Wow. That's pretty fucked up, haha!! We always knew NFL players sometimes seemed to try a little too hard to inflict vicious hits on certain people, obviously for the purpose of taking them out of the equation of the game and increasing their chances of winning. But I didn't think anyone would actually have an underground fund dedicated to that kind of shit. To me, that's far more egregious of a sin than two players hi-lowing a QB and then kicking dirt in his face while he's unconscious.
Someone's probably gonna lose their fucking job over that shit.

$1500 bucks? Doesn't every team aim to knock out the other teams best players? I did in highschool...I'd try to hit you so hard you wouldn't get up, then help you up. Nothing dirty, just football. Trust me, when I had the ball the other team was trying to knock me out...by legal contact in a contact sport. I have seen players using dirty tactics, and in some cases, I think it is encouraged and condoned by the coaches. If this was a "bounty" for just
causing
injuries
....that's unsportsmanlike and a stain on anyone involved. I sure hope this is not as bad as it sounds.

They are giving away to much to get the number 2 pick. Rumor says that if they did not do it, cleveland was going to give almost the same for the pick.
This should really help the Rams, all of those picks and I think they have cap room to bring in a top player or two.

Peyton Manning
Do you think he can still be a top QB or is he going to be average at best ?
Where do you think he will end up at, assuming he can pass the physical ?

He's out of his fucking mind if he plays again. Hell, he could fucking trip over his ottoman at home in the dark and snap his neck at this point. Know when to call it quits old man, it's time to do something else. Never been much of a Colts fan, although I did
kinda
root for him back in his days as a Tennessee Vol. Sucks to see a really smart QB like him have to take a seat early, and we'll all probably wonder what could've been (especially him), but it just ain't worth the risk of ending up like Christopher Reeve.
And yeah, the Redskins are nuts, and obviously desperate as fuck. They should've seen what happened with Atlanta trying to get early picks last year and taken that into consideration. It's a really big gamble, and the odds as of late are not in favor of the person shoving all their chips into the pot too early.

I'd like to think Peyton is smart enough to know if he can withstand a hit or not...

I think if Peyton wants to, he will make a excellent QB coach & Offensive coordinator someday. That day may be alot sooner than he wants.
Peyton should talk to Sterling Sharpe, he was an excellent player who had his career cut short because of a neck issue.

Don't have a PDF reader at the moment. Perhaps you're talking about Sean Peyton getting suspending for a FULL FUCKING YEAR. HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo boy, that's gonna hurt. Not only the team, but him personally. Not getting paid 7.5 mil a year now. He's gotta find some way of paying for what I'm sure is a HUGE expensive house and all the rest of the bills he's got.
Also in the news... Broncos did what we all thought they might do. Tim Tebow traded to the New York Jets. Dayum, Jets are total SUCKERS. Now they got TWO crappy quarterbacks. Congratulations, dummies.
