Shutter Island 3/10

The single most predictable movie that I've ever seen. You know what is going to happen by the second scene, but they string you along anyway in a completely weak sequence of fake events. There really is no plot or movie to it. A man is insane, end of story. They just make up one to pretend that it is a story until they rip it away in an ever increasingly BAD story that is the exact same freaking thing every time they write it.

It's #$%#ing secret window set in the late 50's. Big whoop. What a waste of my time. I'm so fed up with this trash. I hope that Martin Scorsese actually gets pooped on by mafia pigeons.

From Paris with Love 9/10

Tons of death, explosions, and a crazy car chase. The ending has an ammo case full of inconsistencies but they don't affect the action. This movie is so cool that it actually keeps track of it's own kill count in the dialog.

I got Voyager season 1 on DVD saturday. Still awesome after all these years.

It's funny though that you can tell when they mixed the CG with the models. First trek series to use lots of CG vs optical FX & now a days you wouldn't notice stuff like that.

8/10.

I was lured out of my house untio an epic journey to see the latest offering by an odd french director named Jean-Pierre Jeunet,who did City of Lost Children,Delicatessen,Amélie and now MicMacs

Another offbeat tale of a man who gets a bullet lodged in his head and hooks up with some castaway personalities to orchestrate some retribution against the callous arms dealers that made it. Fine viewing but not the best of his work,a possible 7/10.

He also directed Alien Resurrection by the way...since its been bandied about in here...for good or bad

Taxi Driver, saw it at the grocery store, so I figured I'd pick it up and watch it again.

The A-Team (2010)
8/10

I've never seen the original series (I'm too young I guess) but this movie was the shit. The action was good and clever and the humor was very good.
Even funnier was, I went with 3 friends and we were comparing ourselves to the A-Team characters:

Me being Hannibal, I'm the "smart guy" from the group, my other friend being B.A (Mr. T) because he's black and bulky, other one being The Face, because The Face pukes in the beginning of the movie and my friend is known as the guy that always pukes (rollercoasters, booze, etc) and the 3rd friend being Murdock, because he's just crazy.

Fun fun fun.
