This beer is mother fucking superb. If you are an IPA fan. I drank all 10 beers I had, ending on a west coast IPA. It's probably the reason I had a good night. It's probably also the reason I told my gf that I don't see anything good about speaking to her tonight. Oh wait that could have also been the bitch comment she made.

Saint Paddys Party at Foc's house tonight. Got a keg of green Moosehead lager in the kitchen sitting in a sawed in half metal drum filled with ice. Already had a couple. Not bad stuff. Beats the hell out of Budweiser or Miller any day.

Hoptical illusion IPA by blue point. 6.8%.... nothing super special.

HOP CRISIS Imperial IPA by 21st amendment brewing, Cold Spring, MN. 9.7% and 94 IBU's. The indian guy behind the counter wasn't lying when he said this was veddy, veddy, hoppy. Seriously smooth, very mild and sweet malt presence that doesn't effect the hop flavor, which is strong, but the fruit flavors are extremely hard to notice (i can tell there is some citrus and maybe pineapple, but very little). It's aged in oak spirals and the oak taste is apparent (any more oak flavor and it could be slightly overwhelming). Impressive that a 9.7% beer, from a CAN, has very little taste of alcohol on the aftertaste (although some) and tastes relatively light. Definitely different and I'm feeling the first one after work rather solidly.

4 pack of cans 7.99 <--- this is a fucking steal, you'll have a cool buzz after a 4 pack (that's like 8 budweisers worth and you'll drink it in 4 beers time)

I have this 4 pack, another 4 pack of the delicious west coast IPA i tried for the first time a few nights ago, and one more of those hoptical illusions. I don't have to work until 7 tomorrow (6 today) and given today's festivities, I just might finish the whole lot.

Will post again when I'm several steps closer to reaching nirvana (in honor of the indian guy).

Working on my 11th or 12 pint of Moosehead since around 7 when we had a big taco fiesta dinner shindig. Shit ain't too bad for some dyed green Canadian brew. That's all the store could get in green.

Got my ass cleaned out early in the poker game we had. Didn't even win one single fuckin' hand before they ran me out.

Was thinking a couple people might stick around here all night and crash until tomorrow, but they all decided it would be a better idea to continue the party at the titty bar and leave me and the little lady with the clean-up... well... lets just say they left the little lady with the clean-up, cuz I'm sitting here on my ass still and ain't got plans to move.

Probably for the best that everybody left. Sooner or later they would've started getting pretty hammered and would've been wanting to go outside and start talking loud and waking up the neighbors. Got a cop right next door to me on the garage/driveway side of the house, not a good thing to give him a reason to be mad at me.

Still got maybe 1/4 keg left, feels like it anyway. Probably drink as many more as I feel like it tonight and dump the rest. Thought I'd have probably half a keg left for next week, but these fuckers were thirsty I guess.

Holy shit. What a fucking blasted up evening. Started at the bar, drank fucking shit loads of green beer(no clue what kind, was already well buzzed when we got there) until my buddy decided it was balls to the wall shots time. 151 is a harsh drink, that is unless ur already numb to the burn, after about the 5th one shit got real

We all ended the night in my friends back yard playing flip cup with tequila.

so ya, hella paddys day partying! I am still hanging like fuck, was awesome! I really need a new poison to get fucked up on though, vodka red bulls are so bad. derp alcohol make you wanna pass out but you're so wired on caffiene you can't sleep it off properly! also, this shit right here! I ordered a Glitterbomb at this bar (real manly, yep) and ended up with a fuckin glitter fishbowl. the shit was delicious I was knockin them bitches back.
