A grand review!

Black Sheep Ale (4.7%): Delicious, a bit more bitter than you would expect though and the aftertaste lingers but still easy to drink and tastes great. I won't even pretend I have a clue on how to 'smell the notes' and shit so I'll just rate it out of 10. 7.

Abbot Ale (5%): Strange one this, a little more expensive than I am used to. Initial taste is fruity, then it goes to almost a lager-like taste and finishes with a short bitterness (but pleasant). I find this one to be more of a slow-drink-whilst-watching-something ale. That said, despite it being nice I would not buy it over some of my other favourites again. Apparently when it's served draught in a pub its significantly nicer though, I wouldn't know. 7/10 again.

Bell's Blended Scotch Whiskey (40%): One of the cheaper scotches of course, not single malt. I took it for what it was, that said it was still pretty good and I polished half a bottle in one night and the other half the next, tasty both on ice and straight. 6/10 because it's obvs not single malt sipping quality.

I grew a decent sized patch of watermelons this year. I dunno why, I really don't even like watermelon all that much. Had probably a 30ft by 30ft slightly groomed sprawling patch of it by the driveway that only yielded about 9 or 10 melons, not nearly as many as I though it would, probably because I didn't water things as religiously this year. But since I had the melons sitting here and figured they'd never get eaten, I decided to cut up about 2 of them and press the juice out of the pieces to make some wine from watermelon. So far, it seems to be fermenting like crazy after adding the yeast. It's bubbling and fizzing like nuts right now. I've got about a 1/2 juice to 1/2 water and sugar ratio in this batch, so thats probably got a lot to do with it. After smelling the straight juice I had in the gallon jugs, I decided to dump in one 8 or 10oz bottle of Welches Cran-Grape juice to add a little cranberry tartness to it. I figured the straight watermelon juice would probably render a funky flavor on its own. Probably gonna make another batch of it sometime next week and allow that one to sit for a few months to fully mature before drinking it if this one goes as well as I hope it does.

hanging terribly this morning. it all popped off last night! from harmoniously screaming notes along to celine dion in a club (lol) to getting john cena on some rowdy cunts that were [------|-] this close to getting snapped in 2, fortunately they simmered down and fucked off but mateee, these kids were going to get hurt and I'm not even a violent man in the slightest. did a 12 hour stint, 7pm till 7am and was all kinds of hammered and high.

keystone is infinitely better than any of milwaukee's best, so not bad for free beer.....I just drank like 3 shots worth of burnett's strawberry vodka(my brother's gf left it in my freezer so it's mine stereotypical ethnic ghetto-style individual) and had 7 of these "red stripe jamaican lager's" which i've never fucking heard of til I opened up the bottom drawer on my fridge and saw them sitting their starting at me(they taste like shit btw) and I'm pretty tanked, which is soft, I know....and 10 vic's = good night.

I was at the pub up the road watching the Georgia-LSU game this afternoon. Unfortunately, they don't have titties. Didn't feel like riding all the way into Atlanta to one of the titty clubs. I wouldn't mind a little hole-in-the-wall nudie bar in my city, but the city government wouldn't allow it in a million years. I'm kinda surprised they even granted the pub an occupancy permit, but I guess a big reason they did is that it's not some completely sleazy redneck dive bar, it's pretty nice inside, and they serve pretty decent food too. Hehe, we actually ordered a stack of pizzas from the Papa John's Pizza down the road and had them deliver it to us there. Bar owner knows us, we tip the shit out of him and the bartenders/waitresses, so he lets us do crazy shit like that as long as we don't get too rowdy. My old lady isn't allowed anywhere near the pub anymore. She got into a fight with some other broad a year or so ago because she thought she was flirting with me a little too much. She whooped the shit out of her, busted her face all to hell. Bar owner agreed we could come back if we promised not to bring her around anymore. Pretty fucked up when my woman is the one someones more worried about starting some shit, hehe.

I am out upon the town tonight with two people I don't know and one I have only just started seeing again, after 5 years or so. It may be awesome, it may be awkward. One thing is for sure, I will be FUCKED by the end of the night.
