How can a team's defense only give up 119 yards for the game and still lose 42-13.
6 freaking turnovers, kickoff return for a TD, and a punt return for a TD - THAT'S HOW  :grrrr: :grrrr: :grrrr: :grrrr: :grrrr: :grrrr: :grrrr: :grrrr:

Driskel turned it over 4 times - (17 points), Harris turned it over 2 times - (7 points).

Harris Fumble - Missouri TD
Driskel INT - Missouri FG
Driskel Fumble - Missouri TD
Driskel INT - Missouri TD
Opening Kickoff - Missouri TD
Punt Return - Missouri TD

Missouri had 7 first downs and 119 total yards when they actually had to drive the ball.

If I was the defense, I would tell the coaches that we want to play both ways.  I couldn't be much worse.

I broke my previous record in most winnings in a night, largely due to Florida. I saw the dominos falling and checked the 2nd half lines, betting on mizzou to outscored Florida in the 2nd half was +177 odds, lol! I saw that and said, don't mind if I do! $100 to win 177, paid 277.

I also parlayed San Diego state winning, with az state winning, and the total score of az state and Stanford being below 54.5. This was $20 to 95, paying 115. Also, I bet against byu again, Nevada was +600 and I put 20 to win 130, paying 150. So, it was a good night. I didn't bet on the earlier games, which could've been a good or a bad thing considering I was planning on picking WVU to beat Baylor in a high scoring game haha.

I also won two small wagers and lost two, all 4 were 10$ to win 10 so they cancelled each other out.

Right now I'm thinking, minnesota, giants, and saints are good "upset" pics just cuz they're going to be close. Maybe Bengals. Maybe kc. I'll likely parlay picks like these with teams that are very likely to win(browns, Denver, etc)

PFffffft. ::) You obviously have more faith in them than I do, hahaha! Ain't been watching the game, been continuing to catch up with Walking Dead episodes, but I've had the Yahoo GameChannel thingy open just to check in on it every once in a while. Just like I figured, Baltimore shut them completely out for the first 3 quarters. They apparently managed to put one single successful drive together and Roddy White got into the endzone for 6, and then obviously +1 for 7 with the PAT. And even that shocks me. I figured if they were gonna get on the board at all, it would merely be for 3. But I say that 1 TD is the only score they're gonna get.

Basically, if you wanna win money betting on NFL, there's really 2 games you can always mindlessly bet on every week: Atlanta to lose, and Tampa Bay to lose. Now they might not ALWAYS lose EVERY WEEK, but they're going to lose enough to where by the end of the season, you'll definitely be left with plenty of profit.

I'm with Foc on the FLA St/ND game, I wanted to see both teams lose.

ND because I always want to see them lose because they always get the hype of how good they are, even when they are not.
Just look what Alabama did to them in the National Championship game.  Bonus if coach Kelly turns so red that he is about to burst  :bananaw00t:

FLA St mainly because of Winston.  I am not a diehard FLA St hater even thou I am a Gator fan.  If FLA can't win it all, I pull for another SEC team.
If SEC can't win it, I would pull for FLA St.  That all changed with Winston,  I want to see him lose no matter who they play.

I saw where ND's coach Kelly is whining about the offensive pass interference at the end of the game.  Looking at the replay, the ND receivers did not try to get open, they just blocked the FLA St. defenders in the endzone.  It was pretty clear in the replay.  Coach Kelly, you lost, quit your whining.

Haha! Yeah, I was sitting there watching it live on the TV. When I saw how wide-assed-open that one receiver he threw to was, I already knew a flag HAD to be coming. I was watching both the offensive and defensive formations before the play very closely. They had 3 receivers separated off from the right side of the line with 3 defenders right over them looking to be set for man on man coverage, which is always the appropriate call being that close to the endzone. In that situation, usually the receiver closest to the sideline is gonna slant to the inside, the middle receiver is gonna slant inside-go-and maybe hook back, and the inside receiver is gonna slide out to the sideline. The goal of that play is to hopefully confuse the defenders and cross them up into one another just long enough that the inside receiver will get a step or two of space to make a clean catch and then hopefully be able to fight off someone and make it in for the score. I didn't see exactly what happened to get him so unbelievably open when I was watching it live because of the camera angle they used, but the replay they showed afterwards made it crystal clear. The middle receiver charged towards his defender, grabbed him by the collar, and then just carried him back like he was an offensive lineman, haha! Just a BLATANT foul.

He can complain about the penalty all he wants. But even HE knows if he watched the replay, it was the right call.

Begrudgingly (because he's a Bronco now :razzberry:) watched Manning finally get to 510 career TD's to take the record tonight. And Manning is likely to play for at least another 2 years. If you do the math, it's probably gonna be a LONG time before whatever the record ends up being is even approached by another QB. Another QB would have to play for 20 consecutive seasons/years without an injury and get more than 30 TD's per season. Unless someone truly ungodly gifted comes along, I don't see it happening. History, son.

So, I've been "live betting" during the game and it's been working out, although it's a different gamble in itself. If you think it's going to be a close game, bet on both teams. I bet on both the steelers and Texans winning last night, BOTH at more than +400 odds due to how rapidly the odds changed due to the momentum switches in game. I did the same thing with Notre dame FL state,  was a win-win scenario.

Also, I might put $1,000 on Anderson Silva to beat Nick Diaz, seems like an easy $1,200 to make.

I've kinda been a believer for a while that Silva really ain't as wonderfully great as people tend to think he is. He's been through tons of people while he was the champ, but it seems like the UFC just kept throwing the same kinds of fighters at him. With Nick Diaz, it's kinda more of the same, another fighter who's probably past his prime and probably not motivated enough. It depends on how bad Nick Diaz really WANTS to beat Silva, but I don't think he really wants it bad enough to work too hard for it. He's been talking about maybe retiring for a while, and I think currently, he's only on contract for 3 fights. I suspect he'll only want to do the 3 fights and then get the hell outta dodge. Which is kinda sad. It's too bad Nick Diaz doesn't have the work ethic and attitude that other fighters have. He could be special if he wanted to.

But on the other hand... maybe I underestimate him for this fight a little. Maybe beating Silva would mean a lot more to him than just a paycheck. I dunno, hard to say. I'd hope it would. Cuz Nick Diaz can be virtually impossible to KO when he's got his war face on, which would make for a much more interesting fight. Because you KNOW Silva ain't gonna take any stupid chances anymore. I think he's learned quite a bit from his last 2 losses and isn't gonna do anything to make it 3 in a row if he can help it.

Also been lots of hub-bub about how 4 of the top5 teams are SEC and how it could work out to where 3 different SEC teams would be in the playoffs. I think it's much ado about nothing though. If we go by what usually happens and the two teams playing for the BCS title are always from the top3 or whatever, then it stands to reason that some of these SEC teams are gonna be shuffled out of the deck regardless of what the rankings are by the end of the regular season. If the rankings stay similar with Mississippi State and Ole Miss right around the top, that's going to be settled in each teams last game of the regular season for the in-state rivalry weekend. Whoever wins that will be the one punching their ticket to the SEC Championship. And the SEC East is still very much up for grabs. It could be Georgia, Kentucky, or maybe even Missouri still. Lots can and probably will happen in the east. Georgia might be leading the east, but with Florida, Kentucky, and Auburn left to play in the SEC, it's far from clinched. And in my opinion, no matter who claims the SEC East, they ain't gonna beat whoever takes the West in the SEC Championship. NOT gonna happen. Both Ole Miss and Miss State would beat ANY team from the East this year.

Anyway, long story short, I think at most the SEC will have 2 spots in the playoffs, but probably only 1. Now... if Miss State beats Ole Miss, and then goes on to beat maybe Georgia or Kentucky in the SEC Championship... I gotta wonder if Alabama would be gifted with yet ANOTHER SEC Championship "bye" like 3 years ago (when they faced LSU twice in one year , finally in the BCS Title game) and still make it into one of the playoff games. That shit would piss me off.

Now this guys lawyer as well as the school are saying that he only paid Gurley 400 dollars on one single occasion to sign some stuff. Pffft. Bullshit. It was more than that. Gurley knows it, UGA knows it, Bryan Allen and his lawyer know it, so does everyone else unless they're completely fucking blind and gullible. But more than likely the schools lawyers got with Allen's lawyer and worked out an agreement that he wouldn't claim he gave Gurley any more than 400 bucks, which would make it possible for the NCAA to accept a 2 game suspension rather than 4 games, and in turn the school would NOT possibly seek to sue Allen into complete and total ruin for loss of income in case Gurley's absence might lead to Georgia not making an appearance in the SEC Championship or other bowl games - because there are laws on the books that allow institutions to sue these people for monetary compensation resulting from losing the possible income they'd get from a conference championship appearance or bowl appearance.

Dunno WHAT the fuck this dude was thinking when he decided to out Gurley for this stuff, if he thought it might somehow benefit him. Obviously the only benefit would've been from blackmailing Gurley for money to keep quiet. And the school probably knows this and used evidence of it as leverage to get him to agree to only claim that he ever gave him 400 dollars. But... he didn't realize these student athletes don't have that much money no matter how fucking famous they are. So he was never gonna get anything out of it anyway. Fucking dumbass. :ohlord: If he was gonna blackmail anyone over this situation, he could've gone about it differently and possibly succeeded. The players don't have the money to give (that's obviously why they sign shit for cash in the first place, derp), it's the schools that have all the fucking money.

Current rankings                        Remaining games against ranked teams
1   Miss. State    6-0             Alabama, Ole Miss
2   Florida State      7-0             Nobody ranked, (ACC championship game)
3   Ole Miss            7-0             LSU, Auburn, Miss St.
4   Alabama           6-1             LSU, Miss St., Auburn
5   Auburn           5-1             Ole Miss, Georgia, Alabama
6   Oregon           6-1             Utah, (PAC 12 championship game)
7   Notre Dame   6-1            Arizona St., USC
8   Michigan State   6-1            Ohio St. (Nebraska if they make the championship game)
9   Georgia           6-1            Auburn
10   TCU                   5-1            West Virginia, Kansas St.
11   Kansas State   5-1            TCU, Baylor
12   Baylor           6-1            Oklahoma, Kansas St.
13   Ohio State   5-1            Mich St. (Nebraska if they make the championship game)
14   Arizona State   5-1            Utah, Notre Dame, Arizona
15   Arizona           5-1            UCLA, Utah, Arizona St.
16   Nebraska           6-1            Nobody (Mich St. or Ohio St. in championship game)
17   Oklahoma           5-2            Baylor
18   East Carolina   5-1            Nobody
19   Utah                   5-1            USC, Arizona St., Oregon, Arizona

Here is my guess at who the top 6 teams will be, I just couldn't get it down to 4 yet.

FLA St. breeze's in undefeated because they don't play anyone else tough, definitely in the top 4.

Either Mich St/Ohio St/Nebraska will finish the year as the Big Ten champs and have only 1 loss. If it is Mich St, their in (Ohio St. or Nebraska maybe)

Oregon makes it out of the PAC 12 with 1 loss (they will be in the top 4).  A 1 loss Arizona St. might make the top 4.  A 1 loss Arizona will not make the top 4.

Notre Dame makes it through with 1 loss they will make the top 4 (plus the press loves Notre Dame). :(

If a SEC team makes it through with only 1 loss, they are definitely in the top 4.  A 2 loss SEC team might still make the top 4, but doubtful.

If a Big 12 team makes it through with only 1 loss, they are definitely in the top 4. A 2 loss Big 12 team will not make the top 4.

I find the SEC and Big 12 to be the most interesting, because so many of the top teams still have to play each other.
