UNC has obviously had a lot of good talent. It makes you wonder if the coaching is a factor why they have not done better than they have.

Well I think more importantly, you gotta look at how early these picks are drafted as well as whether or not they are actually starting players their 1st year in the NFL. A lot of the guys drafted from Alabama, LSU, Georgia, and Oklahoma ended up starting, especially the defensive players. I dunno about FSU and UNC though. FSU's pieced together some pretty talented kids that are sure to be NFL material in a few years. Alabama and Georgia too. I dunno what it is, but the state of Georgia is turning out a pretty high number of impressive high school football players lately. If they don't get grabbed up by UGA, they all end up at Bama, LSU, and Auburn. UGA's got some damn good high school prospects for next year if they can pin them down.

Well, UNC has gotten plenty of good recruits(even at the last second), and they're lready favored to take the acc coastal since spring. Not that that means anything, I'm sure we'll either choke or have some new allegations swung our way that prevents us from competing against FSU.........again

I'm not sure what to make of this, either someone paid dennis rodman jr. to put UNC back in the negative spotlight, or shit is fucked up more than we think. If it's the latter, then can we please nip this shit in the bud and not ruin it for 95% of the exemplary student-athletes @ UNC as well as 100% of the fans.

Yeah, I think Georgia's in the same boat. They'll have a run game as long Gurley and Marshall stay healthy, but I ain't too enthused about Aaron Murray's understudy Hutson Mason after seeing how he did when Murray got hurt late last season. They've got a couple freshmen on the roster, one I think they're hoping to keep in a redshirt (Brice Ramsey, I think), but there's talk that he's supposed to be the next in line. Mason's a senior this year, so good news is if he sucks, we'll only have to watch him suck for one season. Doesn't bode well for Gurley or Marshall though. If Mason proves to be incompetent at passing, they're gonna go 100% run and end up getting both RB's hurt again. And they ain't gonna be quite as effective if their QB can't pick up yards now and then off play action fakes to keep the opposing line guessing like Murray always did.
