All of these parody movies that came along after Scary Movie made a little at the box office have a sickening tendency to be exponentially more shitty and humor-free than the last one. They're like Weird All Yankovic songs, just an excuse for someone with no imagination, talent, and/or originality to steal someone else's movie idea in a roundabout way and make money off of it.

If you want to see a funny movie and GENUINELY LAUGH, I'd recommend one of these:

Waiting - 10/10

Foc...most of the comedies where Ryan Reynolds was the lead or whatnot are hilarious imo...and with that said, if you like "Waiting" then I'm sure you'll enjoy:

Van Wilder 10/10

Just Friends 10/10

and his comedic performance in the third "Blade" bumped the movie from a 4ish to a 6-7/10, haha...he had a few pretty good lines in that flick haha.

I saw Van Wilder back in college, but I was obviously hitting the sauce that night because I can't seem to remember much about it.

I saw Just Friends on Comedy Central a while back. It was pretty funny, but more of a fluffy chick-flick date movie, not really my style.

So basically they decided that both A) Planes Trains and Automobiles needed to be remade and B) it was not rated R enough.

That's the best way to put it. It was an unfunny attempt to remake a classic. There's nothing about it worth watching. It's a movie based on presenting ridiculous situations and continually making that situation more ridiculous to exact humor. Only problem is that in all this "One-Upping" there is no ounce of realism to base the humor on. I'm just sick of these brain dead, less than low brow movies. They make Ringo's Cave Man something to look up to.

lol, starship troopers is so bad....but for some reason, I've prolly watched it over 20 times since it came out haha...I have a thing for bad movies I guess.

Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure - 8/10

Another somewhat bad movie, but I use to watch it way back when and can't get enough of the dumb humor.

Bill and Teds Bogus Adventure - 9/10

I liked this one a bit more and I don't know why haha. I get a real kick out of the part where the robot Bill and Ted call the "real" Bill and Ted "fags!" right before they throw them over the cliff haha.

The Other Guys 7.5/10

Will Farrel is still retarded, but Marky Mark was surprisingly funny. He had anger management issues and his bad acting really played into the part. Plus it was a pretty classic movie. Jokes were real jokes. They also kept the joke count high. Really reminds me of classic "Airplane" style movies. Hope they make more like it.

Favorite line:
"We found your Prius. It was out voting for Ralph Nader."

Another thing to point out is that it was very political, but in such a satirical way that it added positively to the humor.
