  Yeah. Definitely. What in the fuck are they thinking? The Sugar Bowl the other night was the first time I'd ever seen or heard of the guy, and I could tell just from that little amount of time that he wasn't a good field general and he just doesn't really have the killer instinct and personality type to be a college football head coach, much less an NFL head coach.

Yeah, it's really weird to watch him be hired and Ron Rivera picked up by the red skins(and bringing his best assistants with him).

Panthers owner says he hired him because he's a "program builder". Maybe he's right, but college coaches in general are a big gamble in the nfl already. But even disregarding that it's obviously NOT a good hire. Of the 4 people that post about football here time to time, literally all of our team's coaches are better and more accomplished than him. And the Panthers hired him with 60 million guaranteed.

Program building in college versus program building in the NFL are totally different.

In college everyone (legally) makes the same. (no salary caps)
In college all of the players need development, you can take a 2 or 3 star guy and develop him into a 4 or 5 star player.
In college 99 percent of the players are very open to learning.

In the NFL you need a good GM to build a team - The NFL is a business - it is totally different from college.

The transfer qb from wake isn't a bad addition focalor. But, that WR from wake ive mentioned sage surrat who was the #1 receiver in the country: newman was throwing to him the whole time, and when he got injured wake started losing. Virginia's QB and newman are both good though. Not as good as sam Howell or trevor lawrence though.

A lot of that pick is from me thinking Green Bay will win every year, or in the championship, and they always come up short. Coupled with how unpredictable last round was.... We'll see I guess. I think the game is on about to tune in.

We all picked Baltimore as our 4 pointer. They fought and clawed all season to become the #1 seed only to lose it all to the #6 wild card seed. They've won a superbowl a two before though, so Ravens fans can't whine.

I got to thinking about the teams that had never won a superbowl, and I thought the list was smaller than this, but it turns out there's 12 teams that have never won a superbowl:

1. Bengals
2. Bills
3. Browns
4. Cardinals
5. Chargers
6. Falcons
7. Jaguars
8. Lions
9. Panthers
10. Texans
11. Titans*
12. Vikings

(*The Titans were formerly the Houston Oilers of the AFL before they merged with the NFL, and they won a couple of AFL Championships back then.)

And 4 of those have never even made an appearance in the superbowl before:

1. Browns
2. Jaguars
3. Lions
4. Texans

Then again, the Jaguars and Texans are "somewhat" new franchises, Jaguars started in 1995, Texans in 2002. The Browns and Lions have been around forever and are just those two teams with a gypsy curse hanging over them.

That said, and I know I didn't pick either one of them this round, but I hope either the Titans or Texans can win it all this year and get themselves off that list finally.
