Just over an hour to Game Time 

I will be dragging when the alarm goes off in the morning but  its the National Championship Game.

The technical side of me says Alabama will win for these reasons.
Clemson barely beat Notre Dame and Clemson was playing at home. (so Clemson and Notre Dame are close in talent)
Ohio State beat Notre Dame by 16 points in the bowl game. (So Ohio St. is better than Notre Dame and possibly Clemson)
Mich St. beat Ohio State in a close game (so Mich St. is better than Ohio St, Notre Dame and possibly Clemson)
Alabama dominated Mich St. (so Alabama should win the game with Clemson by at least 2 touchdowns)

This is college football so forget everything I just said 

This game is about matchups.  Alabama has had trouble with mobile QB's and Watson is probably the best mobile QB Alabama has seen.
If Alabama plays a good game and doesn't turn the ball over, I think they will win.
I give Clemson a chance, if Watson has a good game mixing the read option and passing game. 
I think Clemson will score points, but will it be enough to win.

Alabama wins 31-21.

Alabama wins again. Okay everybody. Get your shit together for next season. Because Alabama's gonna win it again the year after. Every two years, they get it. Last thing I wanna see is some fuckhead like Nick Saban tie or beat Bear Bryant for number of national championships. Cuz a caliber of coach like Bear Bryant, Nick Saban AIN'T!

When NC beats Kirby Shart in Atlanta in the season opener Georgia will be hating queers from Alabama and wishing they still had richt.

Clemson outplayed Alabama for most of the game, but gave up to many big plays on defense. 
Clemson blew coverage on the Alabama tight end twice and it cost them touchdowns both times.
Clemson gave up a 95 yard kickoff return for a touchdown also.

If it was 2 out of 3, I would take Clemson.

When NC beats Kirby Shart in Atlanta in the season opener Georgia will be hating queers from Alabama and wishing they still had richt.

I'd normally agree that Georgia shouldn't have tossed coach Richt, but just look at it from the UGA athletic dept's perspective. Early on, he had Matthew Stafford and managed to get 1 SEC title, but nothing further. Then another great QB like Aaron Murray fell into his lap, and they still couldn't get a national championship or even an SEC championship, just one or two SEC East titles. Not to mention the buttloads of other talent he's had... AJ Greene, that one RB that got kicked outta UGA for getting arrested for DUI + weed + gun possession, Todd Gurley, etc etc, a lot of them getting suspended for NCAA rule violations, Gurley losing the Heisman. It's all added up over past 10+ years, and the final sum of it says to the UGA athletic dept that Richt can't keep his players under control and he can't win the big important games. Kirby Smart might not be the right guy for the job either, but it's probably better to try something new than to do the same thing over and over and expect to see a different result. I liked him as a coach, but at the end of the day it's gotta be about whatever's best for business.

Yeah I hear you. That was primarily a jab at anyone who coaches for Alabama and secondly a call out that nc is going to take Georgia, which, I don't know obviously but I do. NC is going to kick Georgia's ass. I'm in Georgia now, it's painful but I'm hanging in there. Even worse I'll be in Florida later today.

Similar to sc, Georgia has a higher profile football school agreed to a 2 game set to nc one neutral and one away for nc. The neutral is at Atlanta lol. A little less neutral than Charlotte is for nc sc but whatever. In the "way too early" rankings nc on ESPN nc is #15, that'll probably hold to next year, Georgia should play some catch up in recruiting and be barely ranked too so it'll at least be a resume building match for either team despite what actually occurs.

Carolina has a tough road to the Super Bowl but I think they'll do it. Nothing would make me happier than to see cam dominate New England, then give Brady the game ball like he does for all the kids

UGA should have tried to get Will Muschamp, he played his college football at UGA. 
Actually Muschamp is a really good defensive coach, but he needs help with the offense.  Maybe he learned from his mistakes at UF and he will be a better head coach at South Carolina.  Of course I don't want him to do really good

Let's play a game. You've probably seen the Nationwide commercial with Peyton Manning where he sings different things to the Nationwide jingle like, "Chicken parm you taste so good." The game is you make up phrases for Peyton to sing.

I'm NOT one of the folks convinced that Peyton Manning is the best QB the NFL has ever seen. He's good... but clearly Brady is better. Mannings been a bit less consistent than Brady over the years. I still don't think either one of them are getting another ring this year though. Carolina looks tough, and Arizona has fucking black magic going for them this year. That game they had against Green Bay on Sat night was NUCKIN' FUTS!!!

The entire Arizona Green Bay game was ridiculous. Everything that could've happened did. But Arizona didn't look dangerous enough to beat Carolina at home except in their best moments. Palmer didn't look too good for most of the game. Neither did Rodgers for that matter though.

And yeah, it's probably going to be Carolina New England. I'm freaking thrilled over it too. Cam is going to give Brady the game ball like I said.

I... WAS... thinking Carolina was gonna take it all. But I ain't too sure anymore. I've said it before, that every few years theres one team that just has a magical season, where all the stars align perfectly just for them, where they always find a way to win. Pretty sure I said it back in 08 or 09 when Brees and the Saints finally snagged New Orleans first Superbowl win. Seems like Arizona might have that certain magic to them this season. I agree that they didn't look entirely outstanding against Green Bay, but then again, Carolina managed to pummel Seattle with 4TD's and 1FG to run upthe score 31 to nothing by halftime... and then couldn't do anything more in the 3rd and 4th quarters.

Carolina, just going by the numbers on paper, SHOULD win the NFC conferece championship. But it won't shock me at all if they don't.

Palmer had never won a playoff game before the GB game.  I don't know if it was nerves, but he did not play well in the GB game.

Carolina looked awesome in the first half against Seattle, but  happened in the second half.

The Patriots looked really good against a KC team that has been on a roll.  I actually thought KC might win this game.

Denver beat Pittsburgh but they did not look good in the redzone.  Denver will need to come away with touchdowns if they want get a win against NE.

I think NE will handle Denver.

The Carolina\Arizona game if hard for me to pick.  Both teams have looked great and at other times looked average.
I all depends on how each team plays on that day.  I hope both teams bring their "A" game, then it should be an epic game.
