Florida got it handed to them by Michigan

I thought Florida would lose because they lack a passing game. I was surprised by some of UF's blown coverages in the secondary.
The rest of the game went as I thought, the defense kept it relatively close in the first half, then wore down in the second half.

The 41-7 score was worse than I thought it would be

Georgia & Arkansas both took care of business today, so the SEC has an 8-2 record in the bowl games.

The only two losses were from Texas A&M who had both of their experienced QB's transfer before the game and Florida who really doesn't have a quality QB even thou the one they have has experience.

Yeah, Georgia's "coach" damn near gave the game away using up all their TO's only to hand the fucking ball back to Penn State.

L7>Henry? Fuck em both. You see the damn Rose Bowl? Holy shitballs, Stanford's Christian McCaffrey is RIDICULOUS! Never seen a white kid as a college RB run like that. It's RETARDED that they gave the Heisman to Alabama's Derrick Henry instead of him. Furthermore, I don't give a shit if Michigan State DID beat Stanford, and I said before the 4 were finalized, but it's obvious to EVERYONE now that Stanford deserved to be the #4 facing Clemson in the Orange Bowl instead of Oklahoma. They probably would've totally demolished Clemson.

Really not even excited about the National Championship game. We all know who's gonna win, don't we? Alabama wins it every other year, and they didn't win it last year, so... yyyyyeah.

Oregon vs TCU in the Alamo Bowl... who cares, right? I started to flip over to the UFC prelims instead, but something told me this game might be interesting. By halftime with Oregon leading 31-0, I was wondering when the interesting shit would show up to say hi. TCU comes all the way back by the end of the 4th, 31-31. And then TCU wins it 47-41 in 3OT! Unbelievable, haha!

That game was insane.

Players from both sides completely exhausted and cramping up but playing thru it.
I saw the 31-0 halftime score online and almost didn't turn on the game. I am glad I watched the second half, that was one of the best games I saw this bowl season. If the game had teams playing that I really cared about, I really would have been going crazy watching it.

I saw that the West Viginia/Arizona St. game ended with WV winning 43-42. I did not watch the whole game but they were going back and forth in the first half, with WV having the lead 22-18 at halftime. It looks like that game went down to the wire also.

The SEC came out on top with bowl games, but which conference was the 2nd most notable. Unfortunately, despite Michigan state and Iowa getting their asses handed to them on paper THEY are going to say the big 10. Both notre dame and Ohio state are held in the highest regard so Ohio state beating them solidly is going to mean a lot. Plus, bowl scheduling favored the big 10 a bit aside from their top 3 teams where their seeding was direct. So Wisconsin beat usc(another team THEY hold in the highest regard) and a 5-7 Nebraska for some reason deserved a crack at at 8-4 UCLA. It's just a coincidence that Nebraska is better than what their record indicated and UCLA was more beatable than there's did

So wonderful, the logic is there for a 1. Sec 2. Big 10 argument.

The ACC's #2 and #3 were both embarrassed. Both UNC and FSU playing far below their potential, or even usual for that matter. Not to mention the distant #4 and 5, Miami and Pittsburgh respectively both lost. Miami in a close game to talented WSU, Pitt to navy AT navy's home field

The big 12 and pac 12 were weird but were around equal. The ACC, all depending on Clemson, is likely last out of the power 5.

It's nearly time for the Vikings/Packers game. I don't like football but if there's a game that I watch that isn't the superbowl, it's definitely this one. I love this match up mainly because people here get pissed when the Packers win, which usually ends up happening since the Packers have always been the superior team. I'm ready for the salt.

Yeah, the first half was kinda like, "So it's a football game. One teams winning. Big deal." But as soon as TCU came out in the 2nd half and scored that first touchdown, it was weird, you could just feel it, you knew a comeback was coming. And you kept watching and waiting for something to happen to prove that feeling wrong, and every time, TCU just came through and brought the score closer and closer. I am definitely not a TCU fan AT ALL, but god damn, for at least one half of a football game last night, I was.

I tell you what man, Brian Hoyer makes a great Kansas City Chiefs quarterback. Problem is... he plays for the Houston Texans, haha! I lost count of all the fucking interceptions he threw. Gee wiz! He better RUN LIKE HELL from that stadium after the game lest an angry mob of Texans fans catch him. Oh my god, what a terrible effort!

Cincinatti,... WHAT... THE... ACTUAL... FUCK!?! That was starting to be one of the most exciting and amazing finishes to an NFL playoff game that I've ever seen. And then Burfict damn near MURDERED someone on national television with that hit to the side of the head for a 15yd penalty. And then Jones gives Pittsburgh ANOTHER 15yds. Boom, Steelers field goal, comeback effectively pissed on. What a sad and shitty way to basically TRASH all the work that the Bengals did in the last 18 weeks to get into the playoffs. Just fucking sad.

I bet the hits hurt a little more when it is that cold.

Seattle has been playing well, but the will not have Lynch for this game. Running the ball will be very important in this game so The Vikings have the edge. I still think Seattle will somehow win this game.

Yeah, remember about 5 or so years back when it snowed like crazy all over the east coast and the dome on the old Vikings stadium collapsed under the weight of all the massive amounts of snow and ice? They probably didn't want that to happen again. So instead... they'd rather freeze their balls off all winter long.

I was kinda hoping the Bengals would win the superbowl this year, they've never won it before. Either them or the Chiefs. It'd be nice to see fatman Andy Reid make the Eagles feel stupid for dumping him for Chip Kelly, lol. Anybody but the fucking Broncos. FUCK JOHN ELWAY!

I was wrong, the Vikings are only playing outdoors until their new dome stadium gets completed. I think they said it would be ready after next season.

The Vikings kicker better lay low until he can get out of town. He missed a 27 yard FG with 22 seconds left that would have won the game for the Vikings.

The Packers looked the best they have looked in weeks today beating Washington 35-18.

Yeah, Blair Walsh kicked for Georgia maybe 3 or 4 years ago before he was drafted into the NFL. Yeah, not many kickers from the college level are lucky or good enough to actually get drafted and become pros. But Blair Walsh was damn good. He very very rarely ever missed. He holds several UGA records for kicking, and possibly some SEC records also. I think he only ever missed ONE kick in his whole college career, and only because it was blocked. I was pretty fucking shocked he missed. Kinda sucks that the one kick he ever misses is the only kick that anyone's gonna remember him for now, lol.
