GT surprised me also.  Because they have a legit passing threat this year, their running game is even more effective.
Teams can't just stack the box and key on the run like they have in the past.
The SEC took it on the chin yesterday with Ole Miss getting blown out by TCU and GT taking down Miss St.
I hope this is not a sign that Ohio St. will beat Alabama.

Oh, I'm almost positive they will... If for no other reason but because I don't like Urban Meyer and God doesn't like ME. Dunno what games all these analysts and commentators have been watching, but it must've been Alabama's games from years past. Because this year, they ain't as good as they were. Then again, this ain't the same Ohio State from back before Jim Tressel got canned. At any rate, it should (knock on wood) be more interesting to watch than the gang-rape TCU did on the Rebs.

That would suck. We've all wanted to see Oregon or fsu v. Alabama for 2-3 years. If they somehow beat bama they'll get dismantled in the championship. I hate Ohio state and urban Meyer too. Poor ole miss should've been the ones shitting all over Ohio state and TCU v bama.

Alabama defense has given up big plays (especially the pass) all year.   Ohio St. beat them with long runs and big pass plays yesterday.
If Alabama would have got past Ohio St, Oregon would have lit them up.

I really wanted to see Alabama win another Championship for the SEC, but as many games showed, the SEC is not as dominate as they were in previous years.

I was happy to see Winston take the loss.  I saw him arguing with his coach and even walking away from the coach when he did not want to hear what the coach had to say.  Winston is a immature spoiled brat, who needed to be humbled, but it probably did not work yesterday.  Winston will probably find someone else to blame for his failure.

oregon vs osu should be a damn good one..If I'm not mistaking the buckeyes have like a lifetime record of 9-0 vs oregon -- hopefully that changes ( I think Oregon is better, but  ).

Yeah, read something on Yahoo earlier this morning about all the Florida State players walking off the field and refusing to shake the opposing teams hands after the game. I mean if every Oregon player was talking massive shit all game long, it'd be one thing. Maybe a few did, I dunno. I just think it's FSU players being sore losers. A lot of them don't know HOW to lose because it's been years since they've lost a game. Their last loss was on October 6th 2012 to NC State (17 to 16), their one and only loss that season. So in 3 seasons, they've only lost 2 games.

Pretty sure Ohio State's gonna get their asses reamed inside out by Oregon. Oregon's up-tempo offense is gonna do to them what it did to Florida State, just exhaust the shit out of them. And I don't like it. To me, it's "gimmick" football. It's not exactly the safe way to play because more injuries can probably result or go unnoticed and get compounded by the need to get back to the line and go go go. It's not beating someone straight up in a traditional fight, it's attempting to take advantage of the fact that a lot of time defensive setups depend on how they see the offense lining up. But... it's not illegal, there's no rule or regulations about it, so whatever.

I'm sure one thing fresh on Oregon's mind is the Rose Bowl loss to Ohio State back in the 2009 season. Payback's a-comin' and it ain't gonna be gentle.

Urban had his mysterious illness and had to retire from coaching only to return as Ohio St. coach 1 year later.
I think Urban knew the FLA did not have the players to continue as a top 10 team and wanted out while he could still look good.
Urban joined Ohio St. where he could get a pass while he was building his team.  Urban knew if he built an SEC type team in the Big Ten he could excel and with his recruiting connections it would definitely be possible.  Urban is a good coach, but he has a big ego and I do not like the way he goes about things.

That's why I appreciate a coach like Mark Richt at Georgia all the more. He has drive and a desire to win, but he isn't gonna knowingly break rules to do it like others might. Also, he's one of the only coaches not only in the SEC, but NCAA-wide who doesn't pitch temper tantrums and scream and yell and act like an ass on the sidelines all the time. A lot of people mistake it for a "lack of passion about the game", but I just call it acting like a professional. He's quiet and reserved, but he's always to-the-point and a no bullshit kinda guy that doesn't lie to his players and tell them whatever they wanna hear to manipulate them and get them to do what he wants. Whereas you have Urban Meyer throwing his headset up into the stands last night, Nick Saban at Alabama busting blood vessels in his neck when a call doesn't go his way, Steve Spurrier at South Carolina using cuss words to describe his team during post-game press conferences, and Brian Kelly at Notre Dame cussing out his players on the sidelines to where you can clearly read his lips and know EVERYTHING he's saying even though you can't hear it. That kinda shit just embarrasses your athletic department heads and wealthy alumni donors whose endowments are the backbones of the universities finances, who are the absolute LAST two groups of people you want to piss off.

Brian Kelly is the best, he turns so red that he literally does look like he is about to explode.
I have always hated ND because of the special treatment they get (major network deal) that really helps them with recruiting (come play here and you will be on TV everywhere every game).  Then when they added Kelly as their coach, it was icing on the cake.

'Sokay, though. Dallas'll lose to Green Bay. And if by some second miracle from God they win... then they'll surely lose to Seattle. So... it's all good. Prolonging defeat just makes it that much more disappointing for them.
