The best part of the video is after 1 minute in, when the BYU guy throws a cheap shot from behind a Memphis player.  The BYU guy had already had his eye dotted and was looking for some revenge on anyone.  He is #12 so he is probably a backup QB, so most of the players on the field could probably take him 

HAHA! I heard about it, didn't watch that game though. The commentator almost sounds like he said "...there were black guys and bloody noses..." (but no, black guys = black eyes)

Pss. It's laughable that the buckeyes have better odds than the Seminoles. But, better for me. In my eyes, Alabama is favored to win it all and fsu is a hair above Oregon for 2nd most likely.

Just glad the "real" part of bowl season is finally here. Didn't watch ANY of the bowl games played before xmas, because who gives a shit about any of the schools in them.

UNC and Rutgers should be decent. Don't really give a shit about NC State or Central Fla, but I'll probably watch it anyway. Supposed to head over to my aunts house later for dinner with my moms family. I'll probably sneak off to the big screen surround sound downstairs where my uncles bar is to avoid those assholes, maybe watch the game, and drink them all interesting in case they wanna do something stupid like talk to me.

Nice, I just got done with the shit I wanted to do today, so I'm just reviewing my bets and stuff. I put $100 on NC scoring the first TD lol, but most of my wagers are looking solid. Already won an easy bet calling the first quarter of the LA tech illinois game to be above 10 pts total.

  Figures. UNC got their shit pushed in by Rutgers in a pretty pathetic game that was boring to watch, meanwhile NCState and UCF turned out to be a half decent game.

I didn't watch state v. CF... but, yeah. NC did terrible. I ended up leaving the bar because I was over it. Then I went to a different bar. Then another one.

Hehe. Sounds a helluva lot more fun than what I did. Pretty much sat off in the back room watching the game while 5 screaming kids with Nerf dart guns were running through occasionally trying to shoot each other in the face like they were told NOT to do. My nephew ended up leaving with 2 or 3 nice bright red circular welts on the right side of his face. And he wasn't crying like a bitch when it happened either, so I guess that's good. Maybe he'll toughen up finally. He got his first skateboard for christmas, so maybe once he falls the fuck off that thing a few times, maybe it'll further help to toughen him up. Something's got to. My bro-in-law seems determined to turn the boys into a couple of nerds like him. Both of them got a huge set of Magic Gathering cards for xmas too, so... yeah. I just don't understand the fascination nerds have with that stuff.

Wasn't quite as bad as I thought it'd be. I behaved for my moms sake. Didn't tell my aunt to go fuck herself with a rusty butterknife and didn't pull a gun on anyone. Came close to knocking the shit outta my cousin though, but I counted to 10 and thought of little puppies and the urge passed.

Damn. Yeah, when I was in the mountains I saw some kids playing. One reminded me of myself, how he was running around and climbing up shit unafraid of getting hurt or whatever. But, it was a little too much, I was waiting for his mom to tell him to stop. Not from his actions or behavior, just that there's a fucking 600ft drop or so not too far away haha.

But yeah, kids need to fry ants with magnifying glasses, start fires, scrape their knees, fracture bones, etc... it's good for you. Being smart and having a good head on your shoulders is very important, but magic/pokemon/etc.? Lol... There's nerds, then there are nerds.

On a positive note, NC fired their DC. Texas a&m and UNC both want Durkin from the Gators, and rumor has it that he's going to NC. NC will have a better schedule next year too.. games already scheduled against south carolina, florida state, illinois, and probably ga tech/clemson as well as the other usuals. With Miami, louisville, duke, ECU, and nc state in the mix too they might actually have a tough schedule for once. The scholarship ban will be lifted too, so UNC won't be playing with 15 less players with scholarships than the other schools. Alright, I'm done being optimistic after that abysmal loss haha.

I thought UNC was in hot water over the whole fudging players grades to keep them eligible thing. Anything ever come of that? I would think something like that might influence any possible coaches decision to take the job - knowing that he'd be walking into a situation where the team's gonna be handicapped by NCAA sanctions (bowl ineligibility, recruiting penalties, etc) .

The sanctions have been lessened each year now, the last of which was the scholarship ban(restricting the amount of scholarship players for UNC) which is now gone. But, it'll take a few years to truly recover technically, so that'd definitely be a factor for a coach. But, it'll only take 3 years. Next year UNC will have 5 more players with scholarships than they did this year. UNC recruits a lot of good offensive players, but larry fedora isn't the best coach. He is decent at offense half the time. He sucks defensively. NC's defense is complete ass, so even if they don't get durkin like it looks i'm still thrilled to take ANYONE over the current dc. Sucks to have the worst coaching in the acc coastal.

Durkin would be a good pick up for whoever gets him.  The Gators problems were never on defense, they were always good on that side of the ball.
With an offense that sucked as bad as the Gators have recently, the defense would have been even better if they had a half assed offense that could give them some rest occasionally.
