The first paragraph is just generic man, we know that, it's for friggin' fun and amusement. That's a perfect reason to not participate, really it is, but don't think you're informing us of anything new with that lol.

I hear you on the 2nd addition though.. doubt it'll be quite that drastic though if that.

I can say this about the SEC west: Texas A&M is going to be middle of the pack - if that. Alabama and LSU will smoke them like a cheap cigar. Ole Miss, Arkansas, Auburn and MS St. combined will get one or two wins against them. This year, instead of a leader, the Aggies have a cocky, immature "captain" {correction: he wasn't even elected as one of 12 captains....by his teammates} steering the ship.  Pay attention to how many sacks/hurries come his way. Those big guys up front will make or break his year, depending on their effort. Their effort will be determined by his attitude towards his TEAM. For his sake, I hope his maturity and humility catch up with his ego. 40% chance he makes it through the season. Not hatein', just sayin'.

I hope you're absolutely correct. But he didn't get a Heisman trophy based on luck and the 5 in front of him. He's one of the more accurate nuanced passers in the whole NCAA right now. And he doesn't seem to lay up "throw and pray" shots like some of the college QB's do. He seems to know exactly where the routes are gonna be and how to get it right on his man's hands while he's still inbounds. If this kid shuts the fuck up with the ego-trip shit and becomes a true student of the game, he could maybe one day become a greater QB than Peyton Manning or Tom Brady.

I think Georgia's gonna beat South Carolina this weekend, even without Malcolm Mitchell. And I also think Florida's gonna do better this year, better enough to edge South Carolina out of 2nd. As for who comes in behind the current big 3 in the SEC East, that's completely questionable.

I highly doubt it'll be Tennessee. The Vols have a pretty tough schedule for what they're working with. It'd take a miracle.

Kentucky plays Louisville in a couple weeks, and Louisville's looking good. (If Louisville clobbers their competition hard enough this year, they could even earn a major bowl game, possibly even a shot at the BCS title if things fall into place just perfectly.) Then they take on Florida, SC, and Alabama, and late November they come to Georgia. Kentucky could possibly win 1 or 2 of those, including against Alabama, maybe even Georgia if injuries become a factor. But Alabama's just not gonna be completely solid this year, I don't care what anyone says, they're vulnerable.

Based on the schedules, it looks like either Missouri or Vanderbilt has the best chance of taking 4th.

Good start to the season, Manning comes out with 7 TD's in the first game.
The best play of the game was when the Bronco Linebacker picked off Flacco and was running it in for a TD and started his celebration early by dropping the ball before he crossed the goal line

I remember one particular college game a few years ago where a player did something like that. I forget who it was or what school he played for, but he had left all the defenders in the dust on a pass with like a 40+ Yard After Catch run to the endzone, and the officials raised their arms for the touchdown. They went ahead and lined up for the PAT and kicked it, but before they did, the TV was showing the replay of the end of the run as he crossed the goal line. Juuuuuuuust before he set his first foot on the turf past the goal line, he casually flipped the ball off the ends of his fingers. I dunno if the other teams staff upstairs watching all the monitors told the coaches to challenge the call or not. I guess they didn't since the ball would've been set 1mm from the goal line anyway and they would've just run it in on the very next 1st down for the TD anyway. Bit of a waste of a challenge flag unless your defensive coordinator has psychic abilities and knows for sure they'll prevent the 6.

Didn't watch last nights game. Did they give the defensive player the TD? Supposedly they review ALL scoring plays now, so hopefully not.

Going to be flipping back and forth from UNC v. mid tenn and florida v. miami in 2 hours.

12pm - No. 12 Florida at Miami (FL) - FLA is still searching for offense.  Both teams want to control the game using the run.
It will be a tough grind it out game.  Miami 21-17

If FLA would not have gone for that bonehead 2 pt attempt on their first score, I would have nailed it.
My prediction was right on with FLA losing to Miami 21-16.

Yes you were.. Good stuff. Personally I'm glad miami won even if I like the gators more as a football team... Can only mean ACC teams being taken more seriously.. hopefully UNC can beat miami again like the last few years.

Miami played FLA exactly right, put 8 in the box and force them to beat you with the pass.  FLA has a good defense, but the offense is one dimensional.  I don't know how much the Miami win will boost the ACC because they were actually outplayed.  The 5 turnovers sealed FLA fate.

Sure it will.. After a few easy wins Miami will be ranked, and conference game performance against a ranked opponent presents opportunity for a few other teams(I thought SC would be the only ranked team UNC would face this season, unfortunately).

Miami's schedule looks like a cakewalk except for away games at FSU and UNC.
