We want the focus to be on the music. If we have to create an image, it must be an artificial image. That combination hides our physicality and also shows our view of the star system. It is not a compromise.

We're trying to separate the private side and the public side. It's just that we're a little bit embarrassed by the whole thing. We don't want to play this star system thing. We don't want to get recognised in the streets. Yes. Everyone has accepted us using masks in photos so far, which makes us happy. Maybe sometimes people are a little bit disappointed but that's the only way we want to do it. We think the music is the most personal thing we can give. The rest is just about people taking themselves seriously, which is all very boring sometimes.

Of course, that's not the only reason people get images like that. There are lot of other artists like MF DOOM and SBTRKT who use disguises while performing for different reasons, it's just that Daft Punk is a more recognized group when it comes to that subject.

Sample the shit outta other actual musicians, throw together some rhyming words consisting of mostly slang designed to make rhyming easier, make every song about how shitty slavery and white people are, meanwhile he doesn't know a single person who's ever been actually racially discriminated against, while white kids are the majority of the folks buying his albums, concert tickets, and everything else. And why? Because he's too uncreative and uneducated to cover any other topics, and it's ACTUAL RACIST assholes like him that just refuse to let go of the idea of racism and move the fuck past it because it's the only identity he wants. Why? Because if he can't convince people that tons of white people are racist as shit against blacks, then he has no reason to keep his posture, and he'd be forced to become creative and progressive, something he's too fucking stupid and untalented to ever do. Because I seriously doubt that when Dr. Martin Luther King was fighting for civil rights in the early 60's that he had any intention of carrying the cross of past racism around like a retarded badge of honor in order to get sympathy after the fact. The holocaust was fuckin' horrible too, but you don't see the jews using it as means to define who they are today. Most jews today weren't alive during the holocaust, just like most blacks today weren't alive when Jim Crow racism or slavery existed. Get the fuck off the cross already, we need the fuckin' wood.

i havent listened to yeezus so i have absolutely no idea what the hell youre talking about. i actually enjoy his music, and i think hes one of the more unique figures in mainstream hip-hop. i also know that alot of people dislike ye for his lyrics/ portrayal of his image in his music, but i really dont care about that. i just like to take a step back and look at music for what it is.

-People shitting bricks and starting their own cults; stating that the Illuminati are a powerful and mystical/satanic organization (this is actually a result of the original Illuminati being condemned by the Church in the 1600's. READ A FUCKING HISTORY BOOK FOR ONCE. They are people not demons for FUCKS SAKE. Although their intentions are sketchy, I'll give them that)
-The new Illuminati (a bunch of poser fucks today who have nothing left of the originals except for a fucking symbol with a pyramid)

Speaking of "Hate" and "Jesus", thought I'd post one of my favorite bible verses.
