I got to see the construction going on around the new Braves stadium in Marietta/Smyrna this weekend. HOLY TITTY TURDS. What a clusterfuck! I thought traffic to and from the stadium in downtown Atlanta was bad. Good lord, they couldn't have picked a worse place to build that shit if they tried. Traffic is gonna be an unholy nightmare.

Go Gators
Let's hope that the gators don't meet up with either of the biggest UNC schools in the WS.

It's apparently finished... somehow. I rode right past it a month or so ago on my way to the Sam Ash music store a few blocks away from it and it looked to be several months from being finished. But I guess they stuck guys on it 24 hours a day 7 days a week and managed to just barely finish it enough to get the occupancy papers. Honestly, as horrible as it was to ever get in and out of the old Ted Turner Field (built before the 1996 Atlanta Olympics) or the even older Fulton County Stadium right next door to the Ted (built in probably the 1960's and demolished in the late 90's), getting in and out of the SunTrust Park in Smyrna/Marietta is gonna be 10 times worse. I swear to Allah Lucifer Christ, they couldn't have picked a worse spot to put that son of a bitch. And with the whole I-85 collapse forcing everyone to take the I-285 perimeter around to another way in and out of Atlanta on the north side, traffic right there at the I-285 and I-75 interchange on the NW side is gonna be like having a root canal by way of your anus.

Atlanta is in the basement of their division once again
Freddie Freeman is putting up good numbers, but he is all they got. It must suck to be in his shoes.
Freddie is carrying the team, leading them is every offensive catagory -

The Braves are working their way down the standings, they currently have the second worst record in Baseball. They are almost there

Yow.
That's like driving down the street doing 90mph, sticking your hand out the window, and slapping a mailbox as you go past.

This is not the best place for this post, but its not worthy of a new one either.
Network TV and especially ESPN in broadcasting Soccer more and more
I would rather watch MLB, Golf or even the WNBA before that crap.
I can't wait until CFB get here and then I can start watching those channels again
Foc - your Braves still suck

Ex-Braves GM John Coppolella permanently banned; team loses prospects
http://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/21506598/ex-atlanta-braves-gm-john-coppolella-placed-mlb-banned-list-team-loses-prospects
This happens just when they need to put people in the seats of that new stadium.

I guess so, since last season I'm pretty sure. Traffic over there on Cobb Pkwy by the I-285 and I-75 interchange is ALWAYS hell on earth, but it's 100x worse now that they plopped this fucking stadium in there too. Sometimes I go out that way to visit the Sam Ash music store just around the corner from the new stadium or the two Guitar Center's up in Marietta and Kennesaw. My god, that's an ALL DAY affair. If I ever make plans to head up that way for anything, whatever ELSE I might've had planned for the day goes out the damn window. If you live and drive in Marietta these days, you'd better be one calm and patient motherfucker, cuz traffic moves like a bad case of mozzarella induced constipation.
