I assume that's what Roddy White posted on twitter that's gotten attention. I heard something about it, but nothing specific. Hopefully that'll be just a one time thing. Falcons owner Arthur Blank is a classy guy and won't normally stand for that kind of thing, but he's also been known to cut people breaks and let them off with a warning. Johnathan Babineaux got lucky when he was suspended 1 game for marijuana charges and still had a job with the Falcons. I would think Roddy White realizes just how good he's got it with Atlanta making a cool 12 million a year and won't do anything further to risk a pay cut or worse. White usually isn't a "trash talker", he usually keeps his mouth shut and does his job. I'm pretty surprised by this.

Should be a great game tonight. Getting ready to head down to Atlanta in a little while for a little pre-game tailgating fun.

Yea, I heard Roddy was not usually a big talker.  I'm glad he did some talking - maybe that will get the Saints off their butts. No prediction on the outcome, but if it's like most Saint-Falcons games it will be fun to watch.  I'll look for ya on the tube tonight.

All I know is...

The Bengals, played without TO and Ocho and they destroyed the Chargers.  I hope the young recievers and rookies are what is to come.  Carson was almost perfect with this new his new core.

I was at the game, freezing my ass off, loving watching Rivers lose.  Besides the Cowboys, the Chargers are my least favorite teams.  It was a good day.

Good game tonight. A couple of uncharacteristic turnovers on the part of Atlanta though. God damn center forgot that he had to actually HIKE the fucking ball and decided to ROLL it instead. Then Michael Turner fumbles the shit at the goal line. It's too bad Jerious Norwood is on IR this season, Turner ain't getting shit done like he used to and Jason Snelling is a little too inexperienced to be relied upon as an effective rusher against better teams.

I was REALLY impressed by Atlanta's defense tonight though. They played better than they've played all season, especially in the first half. As the game wore on though, you could tell both teams defense was getting a little more winded and the drives started happening more. Hopefully that'll be the same effort applied in the playoffs. I don't really give a damn if they don't make it to the Superbowl this year. I'm just happy I can watch games now and have hope that they'll actually win a few. As long as they keep their key players on the roster and healthy, they'll more than likely start making it a regular thing to have strong seasons and repeated playoff appearances.

The NFL finally came down with ruling on the whole Brett Favre "sext messaging" bullshit. I had no idea who this Jenn Sterger chick was, but after seeing a few pics of her today, all I can say is... GOD DAYUM! I hope he got a few pics of her in return. Furthermore, I hope those pics eventually find their way onto the internet. To quote Garth Algar, "If she were a president, she would be Baberham Lincoln."

Must be pretty good to be Brett Favre though. I imagine he could probably walk into any bar or strip club and have chicks even better looking than this thoroughbred piece of surgically enhanced ass practically throwing their panties with phone numbers scribbled on the asses of them.

BOWL PREDICTIONS?

Rose Bowl... I say Wisconsin stomps TCU. I'm not wagering anything on this game though.

Capital One Bowl... I say Alabama beats Michigan State, not an all out ass-whooping, probably gonna be a pretty close one. I have two bills on this game getting a payout of 3 to 2. I have a feeling that Alabama just might let me down though. I already lost a chunk on the Liberty Bowl betting on Georgia over Central Florida today.

Outback Bowl... a no brainer: Florida will rape the ever-loving SHIT out of Penn State.

Fiesta Bowl... Oklahoma vs Connecticut. I say Oklahoma will win this one.

Orange Bowl... Stanford vs Virginia Tech. I say Stanford.

Sugar Bowl... Ohio State vs Arkansas. I say Ohio State will outrun them all game long. I have 100 on the Ohio State Buckeyes, but I might up it dramatically if Alabama robs me.

Cotton Bowl... LSU vs Texas A&M. I got a feeling LSU will beat Texas A&M half retarded.

BBVA Compass Bowl... Pitt vs Kentucky. What I refer to as a "bullshit bowl" because neither team is truly deserving of a bowl game. This will probably still be a good game to watch though. Pretty evenly matched teams. A lot of times the smaller bowl games end up being more fun to watch than the big name bowls.

Finally...

BCS Championship National Title game... #1 Auburn vs #2 Oregon. Being an Alabama fan, I hate Auburn. I hate Cam Newton too. I don't think he's the impervious golden boy that all the sports bloggers talk him up to be. If a team that's played as inconsistent as Georgia has this past year can put the brakes on his QB rushing, then he obviously ain't as agile as everyone says he is. Kinda sucks that Oregon has fought hard as hell for the last two seasons to get fucked out of the #1 spot by Auburn. Oregon has only lost 5 games in the last 3 years. Hopefully Oregon will be able to showcase their lightning fast running speed at all levels (fuck yeah, ain't a slow runner on the entire team) and make Auburn look like total fucking pussies. I haven't bet anything on this game yet, and probably won't unless I lose my two other games.

Rose Bowl - I with you Foc, Wisconsin will run it down TCU's throat all day.  Wisconsin 42  TCU 21
Capital One Bowl - Got to go with my SEC.  Ala 28  Mich St. 21
Outback Bowl - Florida is my Team, I hope they can find some offense.  Florida 24  Penn State 21
Fiesta Bowl - I don't think Conn is in the same league with other BCS teams.  Okla 31  Conn 14
Orange Bowl - Stanford is good and Va Tech has been on a roll, should be a great game.  Va Tech 21  Stanford 20
Sugar Bowl - Arkansas has a great offense but doesn't have the defense to win this game.  Ohio St. 42  Ark 31
Cotton Bowl - LSU has found ways to sweak-out games all year.  LSU 20 Texas A&M 17
Compass Bowl - Going will the SEC because I believe Kentucky has played a tougher schedule than Pitt.  Kentucky 31  Pitt 27
BCS Title Game - I would love to see the SEC win 5 Titles in a row, but Auburn does not have the defense to win this game.  Oregen 42  Auburn 35

I am not responible for any money won or lost by these predictions

6:20 to go in the 3rd quarter right now of the Capital One Bowl. Tide is RAPING Michigan State. I figured Michigan State would at least put up a fight, but they're getting handled pretty well. They're making the occasional big play on a couple of passes, but they keep following it up by allowing huge sacks and negative running plays. Pretty sad, but since I got money on this one I can't complain.

Mich. State could not stop the Ala backups  :ohlord:

Bad day so far for the Big 10
Alabama stomped Mich State 49-7
Miss State stomped Michigan 52-14
Florida looked like crap but beat Penn State 37-24 (Penn State might have won if they did not have 5 turnovers)

I still think Wisconsin will beat TCU

The Bulldog fans here in MS are celebrating a lop-sided win over a big name college power... :bananaw00t: ....even though Michigan was not as good as they have been in the past.

The Auburn-Oregon game should be interesting.  I'm hoping Oregon beats Auburn by 50; no "always for SEC" loyalty here.  I've seen Oregon play several times this year and they are FAST.  Unfortunately, Auburn is fast AND big. They are able to win games even when they get behind and Scam Newton seems to be oblivious to the pressure. Go ducks! ...just don't bet on 'em.

Big 10 0-4 today.  I picked Ohio State to beat Ark but the way the Big 10 schools are losing I am thinking about changing my pick.

Yeah, normally I would root for the SEC team, but I'm a little pissed at the way Cam Newton ran out on Urban Meyer and Florida. I'm not a Florida fan at all, but I think a player should stick with the school that they've been with rather than trading up for the bigger better deal. I look at the whole Cam Newton situation the same way as the OJ trial: He wasn't "found guilty", but it still doesn't mean that he isn't, it just means the evidence wasn't there to properly convict him.

I don't think I'm going to put any money on this game. If I did, I'd "want" to bet on Oregon. I still say Auburn's got some amazing luck this year, and it'll probably carry them through this game to yet another win. I don't believe in gods, angels, or miracles, but I definitely believe in miraculous luck, and Auburn has it for some reason. I'd probably have to go with my gut and bet on Auburn. Seasons like they've had have a tendency to continue all the way through as if it's divine destiny.

Wisconsin falls to TCU 21-19

Pretty good game though. TCU proved they have what it takes to hang with the big schools. They did get lucky though. If all Wisconsin's field goal attempts in that game would've hit the mark, it more than likely would've ended with Wisconsin up by 2.

Cam Newton stayed with Florida until Tebow said he was coming back for his senior season, then Cam Newton transferred.  Newton could not transfer to another Div. 1 school without sitting out a year so he transferred to a small school in Texas.  Newton lit up the record books that year against inferior players and won the championship for that division.  If Newton would have stayed at Florida, he most likely would have been the starter this year instead of Brantley.  I can only guess that he wasn't sure he would win the starting job so he left, because with the transfer he still only got 1 year as the starter at Div 1.

Well Ohio State beat Ark like I thought they would  :(

If the five Ohio players who are going to be suspended for the first 5 games next year would have sat out the bowl game, Ark definitely wins the game.

They let all 5 players play because they said they would not enter the NFL draft and would be back next season, we will see.  If any of them enter the draft what can the NCAA do about it.
I think once you are suspended you should start serving it the next game, even if it is a bowl game.

Bad call by the NCAA, hope they don't look like fools later.

I don't worship the devil. Jesus is Lord, friend. He died for your sins. He will forgive you if you just ask.
