I can't wait to see the crazy stuff that is going to happen with the game that ILL and Northwestern are playing in Wrigley Field in Chicago.
Both teams objected to the one endzone that has the goal post mounted to the brickwall in the outfield. They padded the wall but there is no room behind the endzone, as soon as you step out of the back of the endzone you hit the wall. So both teams are going to play towards the other endzone, its going to be crazy to watch.
I will really be interesting if someone intercepts or picks up a fumble. I think its cool to try and play a game in Wrigley, but if it don't fit right don't do it.

I was kinda figuring they wouldn't give a shit how shallow one end zone was and would charge head first into the wall willingly. That's what's great about football, these guys are pussies about most things like other sports. They'll play with broken bones, they'll play in below zero temps with no sleeves, they'll play in pouring rain and holes of mud, they don't give a damn.

Looks like Michigan State is gonna get derailed by Purdue. And I almost put money on Michigan State winning that game. Whew.

Only put money on one game today. 200 on Ohio State over Iowa. I'm not too worried if I lose it though, I plan on making a shitload next weekend on a couple games that should prove to be ringers.

Dammit man. Spoke too soon. Michigan State mustered up a comeback.

Ohio State had me beating my head on the bar towards the end there. That dropped beautiful 3rd down long-bomb pass to the perfect spot in the end zone had me running around the bar like a loon, screaming obscenities and pulling my fucking hair out... and then I realized, "Oh yeah, they got a 4th down to work with too." He managed to skate past the 1st down marker to keep them going on the next play. That's one thing I love about college football. A lot of these teams (especially Auburn and Ohio State) have quarterbacks with a nice size and good running speed that gives them the option to run the ball themselves which makes them damn near unstoppable.

I can't really call Favre the cut-and-dry prince of picks though. Jay Cutler has been throwing quite a comparable amount of picks the past 2 seasons too.

Detroit Lions lose yet ANOTHER Thanksgiving Day game. Jesus Christ, it's like a tradition. They were actually up by 11 at one point in the first half. BUUUUUUUUUUT like they've done all year up to this point, they kept it close until the 4th quarter when they choked and allowed the Patriots to rack up TWENTY ONE UNANSWERED FUCKING POINTS.

One awesome weekend for me. My old lady rented us a FUCKING LIMOUSINE to go see the UGA vs. Georgia Tech game saturday night. Got hammered outta my skull at the game. Woke up this morning with a hangover from hell. Threw my guts up until I was dry heaving. Then me and my roommate got the idea to head down to Atlanta to try to score some tickets to todays Falcons and Packers game. 150 a ticket.

It was worth it though. Great game. Once again, it came down to the final possession of the game by the Falcons when kicker Matt Bryant nailed another through the uprights at 40 or so yards. I tell you what, the Falcons did GOOD picking him up and letting Jason Elam go. He's won A LOT of games for them this year. I hope they give that guy a HUGE raise and do whatever it takes to keep him around for a long time.

Falcons are sitting atop the NFC now at 9-2, with a good chance of winning every other game for the rest of the season. We have the Bucs to play next weekend, and we beat them once already by the skin of our teeth, hopefully we can do it again. Then Carolina and Seattle. Carolina's record is as bad as the Bills right now, and Seattle isn't looking too good either. Then another Monday night game in Atlanta against the Saints. They aren't looking as flawless in their receiving as they were last year, so hopefully they'll suck enough for us to squeeze another win by them. Then last game of the regular season is Carolina once again. If we clench the playoffs by then, maybe they'll sit some of the starters for that game, UNLESS home-field advantage is still up for grabs. I gotta think that's a BIG factor in any decision Mike Smith would have on who to rest and who to play at the end of the regular season. So far, Matt Ryan is 19-1 for his career playing in the Georgia Dome, his only loss there being to the Saints last year who ended up winning the Superbowl. That's why Atlanta loves the shit out of the Falcons recently. People who spend their money to go see them play are always rewarded with witnessing a win.

The hated rival of the Saint nation looks like a Super Bowl contender. Dare I say favorite to represent the NFC? Gulp. Yep. They have what it takes physically and apparently have their minds in the zone as well. The Saints look like the fourth or fifth best team in the NFC at this point.

I'm already looking into securing a few tickets to the Monday night Saints at Falcons game in another 3 weeks. Probably going to cost me 5 arms and 3 legs too. Hopefully they can win the next 2 before that game. I don't anticipate Carolina or Seattle being quite as tough to beat as the last few teams Atlanta's faced, but you never know. I wouldn't say the Falcons won today by any impressive show of force. They kinda lucked up. They weren't making tackles worth a damn, and only managed to sack Freeman ONE TIME. That 102 yd kickoff return Weems made was kinda... dumb luck if you ask me. They walked away with another notch in the W column this week when they REALLY needed to do it, so I can't complain how or why it got there.
