Ugh, it's fucking endless. Some of the people are fine. They play intelligently, they use the mic properly, they communicate with others on missions to help accomplish them successfully. Others... well...

Had some fucking wacko on there late at night once with the sole purpose of preaching the gospel of Jesus to us. Which means this guy went out and bought a copy of a video game full of murder, drug dealing, bank robbing, prostitution, gambling, and every other sin that makes baby jesus cry. What the fucking fuck. Everyone reported him for griefing and voted to kick him from the session.

Then earlier tonight I got to hear some dudes cell phone ring, and then he proceeded to talk to his weed dealer about when, where, and how much money and how much drugs and all the little boring details. Fucking... MORON! The dealer chick he was talking to probably had NO CLUE he was allowing others to eavesdrop on the conversation. It's highly unlikely someones gonna get arrested for talking about buying some pot over a xbox headset, but then again... who knows. You can never be sure. And that's why you NEVER DO IT.

The shit just never ends in the crazy world of GTA Online.

I guess it was last week or week before, I was fucking around in freemode when I heard someone over the mic headset saying "Your call is important to us, please stay on the line and an operator will be with you shortly." I thought it was some shit coming from his TV from the in-game cell phone thingy, but no, he was actually on his personal telephone with it on speaker phone while his mic was unmuted and broadcasting to everyone in the session. Anyway, the recording he was on hold with said that a few times over the course of about 20 minutes. Finally someone picked up and he started talking to them. He gave them his social security number, full name, birthdate, home address, phone number, EVERYTHING a person would need to steal his identity and probably wipe out his bank accounts. So I unmuted my mic and shouted, "Congratulations, dumbass, now EVERYONE on the server has just stolen your identity, moron!" I don't guess he heard me, cuz he just kept right on talking to the person.

And no, I didn't write down his info or steal his ID. But if I was into that kinda thing, I could've. And if anyone else in the session was recording a video at the time, they have a nice record of all his personal info.

People are fucking stupid.

I've been alternating lately between the Dirty Bomb beta, and the Breaking Point mod for Arma3. Both are in constant development, but progressing very steadily and incredibly fun to play.


Dirty Bomb, if you haven't seen it yet, is a free to play FPS game from Splash Damage who made Brink and ETQW. It has a ton of ET feel with an even more asymmetrical team system than ETQW had. It may be the best free thing on Steam at the moment in terms of a fast paced shooter game.

The teamplay is wonderful and varied and if that's not exactly your thing there is very little preventing you from going off solo to complete the objectives or flank the opponents.
Different classes can all be played different ways, giving the game a ton of replayability.

Instead of playing whatever class, you chose 3 prior to the round and you can switch between them upon death to better suit the circumstances. There's also a system using different collectable cards which allow stat upgrades to specific classes and different weapon loadouts. Both teams work this way so your attacker loadout choices may be different than your defender ones to better suit the tasks at hand.

Breaking Point originated as a mod for Arma 2 very similar to Dayz, but unlike that mod it has continued to Arma 3 and remained fairly true to the original style and difficulty. It plays like an unforgiving man hunting simulator in a zombie apocalypse with permadeath and a great camoflauge system and due to the simulator nature of Arma it takes a lot of patience and some real life orienteering skills to get around effectively and not be seen while you loot up and hunt people:

If you've got an XboxOne with Gold multiplayer, you automatically get that "Games with Gold" thing, which is usually just 2 different specific games per month that you can download for free. It's not ANY game, it's just the 2 that they offer.

This month, they have Walking Dead: Season One up for download. I don't usually download any of the free games they offer, but I grabbed this one just to try it out. It's basically not even a game. You know all those parody videos of bad video games you've seen on YouTube where there's assloads of cutscenes and too much on-screen help? Yeah, they basically made a real life game just like that shit. It's kinda stupid. It's basically a poorly animated and ever-so-slightly interactive movie. If you're a big fan of the Walking Dead show on AMC, or god forbid a big fan of the Walking Dead grapic novels (you fucking homo virgin dork waffle, p.s. kill yourself), you'll probably like it. But if you're looking for a video game to actually "PLAY"... then this shit sucks.

And while I'm talking about shitty XboxOne games, might as well mention WWE 2K15. I got this thing back in May. And at the time, I opened it and played it all of about 5 minutes before I got frustrated by the ridiculous on-screen button prompts that are impossible to time properly, and the overall lack of traditional punch and kick one-button moves that you'd THINK a wrestling/fighting game like this SHOULD have in it. The other day, I popped the disc back in for the first time since I spent 50 damn dollars on it back in May and was determined to try to play it and get a little enjoyment out of it. It's impossible. This game SUCKS. And imagine the new WWE 2k16 they just came out with is probably more of the same.

For all the shit I hear people constantly talking about EA Sports titles, I don't see what the fuck these people are complaining about. I've played plenty of EA Sports games, and a few 2K sports games. All of the EA Sports games were at least playable. I've YET to encounter any game made by 2K Sports that I could "attempt" to learn to play without getting pissed off at how ridiculous it is and wanting to put my foot through the TV screen after 5 minutes. 2K Sports can suck my big fat black cock.

Ryse: Son of Rome. (XBox One)

Finally got myself a copy of this game for Xmas, been wanting to play it ever since I got this XB1 last Xmas. All the gameplay and cutscene videos I had seen on YouTube looked absolutely fucking incredible. The graphics are out of this world. How the models show lifelike facial expressions, especially in the cutscenes, is so cool. Pretty fun to play, I guess, but it was a little shorter than I expected it to be. Really didn't take much time at all to complete the single player story. Played it an hour or two in the mornings about 3 days in a row and was done. Theres still things to do in multiplayer, which I think is all co-op play in the gladiator arena. Fun game if you're into the ultra-violent shit like I am. And being that its been out a year or more now, the 29.99 price tag is pretty agreeable since it doesn't have as much replay value as other games.

Anybody else get a copy of the new UFC 2 game? I ran out today and picked up a copy since it was just released today, cuz I'm a dork like that. Gotta have it, gotta have it. Mommy mommy buy me that!

It's kinda fucked up that they made such a big deal about Conor McGregor making the cover of the game, and then in the game itself Conor McGregor looks nothing like the real Conor McGregor. The level of detail on the fighters is a bit improved from the previous UFC game, and yet the previous game did a much better job of capturing fighters likenesses in my opinion. Rory McDonald looks a little off. So does Denis Bermudez.

Kinda stupid, in my opinion, that they decided to add Mike Tyson as an unlockable character. He has NOTHING to do with MMA.

And I hate Sage Northcutt. I hate his stupid annoying cartoony contorted looking face with his metrosexual chin implant and his shit eating grin. He looks like every country club richboy douchbag villain from every 80's movie ever made. So in that regard, I'm glad they added him to the roster in this game. I'll have endless fun punching him in the face virtually until he bleeds everywhere.

XboxOne Gold subscribers always get about 3 or 4 games to download for free every month. Usually from the 1st to the 15th of every month, it's 2 games, and then from the 16th to the 31st of that month, there's another 2 up for grabs. And usually it's nothing particularly great. I've been subscriber for a tad over a year now, and so far I've only ever chosen to download maybe 3 of the games total. The first one was a virtual billiards game that I don't really care for that much because the ball physics are kinda unrealistic, mostly with how heavy the balls act because they decelerate too fast. The second one I got was Walking Dead Season One, which isn't much of a "game" at all, it's more like an interactive video comic book. But still, it was a good way to kill some boredom for a few days I guess.

This month, they have Goat Simulator up for grabs.



I thought it would be silly and funny and worth a play. I actually considered PAYING to download it a few times in the past, but never did. Kinda glad I didn't now. Not really sure what to think about this game. It's pretty stupid. You're just a goat that runs around headbutting everything and knocking shit over. That's basically the entire premise of the game. Nothing more. You just jump and run around, and you bump into shit, and... that's it. I can't believe the people who made this game have made as much money as they have from this thing. It's so ridiculous.
